It is true that when you are enjoying yourself time passes by really quickly but here is the thing. I don't want to finish this pretend relationship with Gideon.

I always anticipate his visit to my apartment everyday.

I know that it is wrong and I am a newbie with relationship and socializing in general but you can't help but cling to him.

The day has come that I need to comeback to work tomorrow. Reality will start tomorrow. I am happy that I will see my friends again but at the same time I am sad that I will not see Gideon again.

Are you not sad if you did not see your crush? It is normal right? To be sad?

I tried to sleep but I can't. I don't know why I am excited but at the same time worried.

As expected morning came and I have 3 hours of sleep max.

I want to drink 1L of coffee if I could but I know I can't.

I went to my bathroom and got ready for work. I wear my favorite blue jeans which is my only jeans aside from my black pants and my BTS shirt.

There is no coffee on our cabinet so I just drank water. No time for breakfast.

I went out of the apartment and was surprised because the black SUV of Mr. Shades is parked right out of the street or maybe not. I can't assume that Gideon has the only one who owns this type of car.

As I approach it Mr. Shades came out of it and open the passenger door instantly signaling me to enter the car.

"Please mam we will bring you to the office."

Who am I to decline a free ride?

I smiled at him awkwardly and entered the car.

As Mr. Shades started to drive I heard him say "queen is secured"

Queen? Secured? The heck? I just ignore him.

I really want a coffee. Craving, desiring? Is that even an appropriate word to use?

I arrive at the office at 8:30am. I waved at the 4 guards in front of each ID kiosk and as usual they nod at the same time. How creepy is that?

Like other employees I am waiting at one of the 10 elevator banks to go to my floor when suddenly I feel the temperature became colder and the chatter became silent. I looked at the air vents at the ceiling to see if there is something wrong with it. I look at the other employees on my side and I saw them looking at the floor. What is wrong with the floor? I look at the floor also to see if there is any interesting happenning to it but it is the same shiny black tiles that you can see your murky reflection.

"Ms. Hernandez" I heard someone calling my name and I turn around to see who it is.

I was shock when I saw Gideon is standing behind me and he is guarded by 2 men in black.

I look around me to see that the people are not looking at us but I know they are listening. Who doesn't of course they will want to know why the CEO singled me out of all the people here.

"Sir" while smiling at him brightly. I am sure even my wisdom teeth are showing.

Gideon just looked at me. Amusement is filling his eyes and incline his head to signal me to follow him.

I started to walk on the direction he indicated and he walk beside me. We reach his private elevator and he look at me again eye to eye.

"Ladies first"

"Huh? Me?"

Lifting his brow is the only response I get.

I entered the elevator and Gideon followed. He pressed 15 and the olympus floor.

I can feel the heat of his body. Elevator music started. Do you know how awkward this situation is? Do they not have other song? Deciding if I will write a suggestion to change the elevator song when suddenly Gideon talk.

"How are you?"

Startled by his question I fidgeted. What is the cool way to answer this question without me looking an idiot.

" I slept alright maybe 4 hours?" Liar.

"Ella 4 hours of sleep is not enough" Yeah dumb answer Ella. Keep it up. He is now scolding me. His eyes are really intense. God those eyes.

"Hey in the bright side I woke up right?" Smiling brightly to ease my embarassment. IDIOT.

I heard Gideon sighs and chuckle a little bit. At least I got him to chuckle because of my stupidity. Progress!!

"15th floor" Ting!

I look at Gideon and thanks him for the elevator ride.

As I went out of the elevator I waved at him goodbye. As in I wave my hand like I am leaving to another country.

As I turn around. I did not notice that he smiles while shaking his head.

Employees are looking at me like I've grown a second head. I just smile at them and greet them goodmorning.

I entered the mail room and saw my 2 favorite people in the world.

"ELLA! you're back!"

Marck and Eric hugged the shit out of me slightly pressing on my suture but it is a good pain.

"I miss you so much. I did not even expect to miss your weirdness."

Rolling my eyes at Eric I get ready to start my work.

For 2 straight hour I am binding and organizing all the documents when I observe that 4 documents is for Olympus. I decided to bring it upstairs since I am not really busy.

I am still sleepy. I really need a coffee although I don't know what is the taste of coffee. They told me it is bitter but if it will wake me up then that is okay.

I went to the elevator to the Olympus floor and wait for it to reach my floor.

After 10 seconds. (Yes I counted) it arrive. I entered the code for the Olympus and wait for another 10 seconds to arrive at the executives floor.

I am so surprised to see someone on the reception desk. A female with a black hair wearing a corporate attire was looking at me. In 1 year in working at this company this is the first time I saw someone in this floor.

"May I help you?" Gosh her voice is melodic.

" I am one of the staff from the 15th floor. I would like to deliver these documents to the CEO."

"Your employee ID please."

I gave her my ID and saw her type and scan it on her computer.

"You can leave your documents here."

When I heard her say that I suddenly become dissapointed. I guess I'll not see Gideon again.

I just nodded and when in the act of placing the documents on her desk I heard a guy call my name.

"Ms. Hernandez?"

I saw a man wearing a suit who is smiling at me. He has a black hair and brown eyes way taller than me but smaller than Gideon 5'10 maybe.

"Hi I am Scott Mr Rosen-Hower's secretary." He shakes my hand I awkwardly shakes his. He has a strong firm grip.

"Please come with me."

I just nodded and followed him silently.

He ushers me to Gideon's office.

"Please sit down Ms. Hernandez Mr. Rosen-Hower is in a meeting. If you need anything just tell me."

"I Just need to give you this documents no need to wait for Mr. Rosen-Hower and please call me Ella"

God Gideons surname is so long. Maybe I can call him rosie? Or howie for short?

"No can do Ms. Her- I mean Ella.

Please wait for him okay? Bye!" Then he closes the glass door.

I place the documents on Gideons table and went back to the couch.

God this couch is so soft. It makes me very sleepy. I lean on the arm rest. I told myself I will just rest my eyes.

I woke up when I heard some murmuring in the background.

Huh? There is someone on my room? But my bed is not this soft.

Reality sets in and I remember I am in Gideons office.

I sat up suddenly and saw a blanket falls on my lap. Blanket? Where did it come from?

The murmuring stop and I saw Gideon and Scott are talking.

"Thats all Scott and clear my schedule."

"Yes sir." Scott went out of the office.

Gideon stands and sits on the couch in front of me.

I Wrap the blanket on my body because I feel naked when he is staring at me. I don't know why.

"Did you sleep ok?"

I nodded. Too shy to vocalize anything.

Who in the right mind sleeps on his boss's office? Me apparently.

I am looking for a clock to know how many hours I slept but Gideon figured out what I want.

"It's only 11am. Do you want to sleep more? I have a bed room here."

Uh no. TMI Gideon!! I don't need to know that kind of information!

I shake my head indication to decline his offer.

"What do you want Ella? Food?"

"Coffee" I croaked. I am not shy anymore. Why would I? This guy saw me in my worst and God forsake I drooled on his couch.

"Coffee from starbucks? Seattle's best? Gloria Jeans? What kind of coffee?"

Huh? There kinds of coffee?

Gideon saw my confusion.

"Do you know what is Starbucks?"

I Shakes my head.

"This is the 1st time I will drink coffee I heard it will wake me up."

Gideon has his thoughtful look on his face.

He stands from the couch and offered his hand to me. I folded the blanket first then I shyly grab his hand and we went out of his office. As we passby Scotts room he saw us and he winks at me.

We went out of the building ignoring all the looks that we got from other people.

Still holding my hand we walk for 5min and reach an establishment which is starbuck when I read the store front and there is a female mermaid? Or a clown on the logo. Weird.

We entered the store and I was hit by the smell of coffee.

"Welcome to Starbucks Ella."

I smiled at Gideon. This starbucks has so many people. Almost all of them is using either their laptops or phone.

Before we reach the cashier I stopped Gideon.

I Signal him to lower his head down and he did.

"I don't know what to order" I whispered on his ear.

"Trust me?" I nodded.

As he ordered on the cashier I saw that there are cakes and other dessert on the glass shelf. I would like to buy a piece of each if I can but I know it will be expensive.

"Do you want a cake?"

I got startled when Gideon ask me.

"No. It's okay."

"Are you sure?"

" Yes. It is almost lunch time now and I did not eat breakfast. I might get a stomach ache if I eat dessert first. Right?"

Of course as dumb as I am I forgot that Gideon hates skipping meals and I just revealed conviniently that I skipped breakfast. Way to go Ella.

Good thing someone screamed "Ella!" It stops Gideon from scolding me. AGAIN.

We went to a guy who was holding my coffee and passed it to Gideon.

Gideon dropped a bill on their tip Jar. I can see Benjamin Franklin winking at me from the inside of the Jar.

$100! What the heck?

Those employee will have a heart attack once they see that Jar.

As we exit the shop I saw again the SUV and another set of men in black opened the passenger door.

Without any complain I entered the car while Gideon followed. Take note he is still holding my coffee.

In 10 minutes we reach a restaurant with a matré on it.

She is looking at me and my Starbucks coffee that Gideon is holding.

"Mr. Rosen-Hower welcome." She smiled politely.

The door is opened and she guides us to a private booth at the other end of the restaurant.

This is the 3rd time that I ate out if you counted the one in Mcdonalds.

2 times in a restaurant with Gideon.

"Your server will come in a minute. For the mean time this our menu"

She hands us both a menu and went back to her post outside.

I looked at the menu and there is only 3 page. 1 for the appetizer, main dish and dessert.

I want to try the snowcrab. It looks delicious but when I looked at the price I retract my decision. 6lb is $150 and 9lbs is $200! What the hell?!

Why is it so expensive?

They have a seafood platter but its $150 to $300 Wow. Nemo's friends are so expensive.

"What do you want Ella?"

I put down and closes my menu so that I can see Gideon properly.

"One order here will cost an arm. I can't order. I think I can only afford the orange juice."

He place his menu down also and he looked at me.

"I can afford it don't worry."

I rolled my eyes.

"Of course you can. I don't doubt that. And you always treat me. Next time I am the one who will pay."

"You don't have to love. I won't let you pay anything if you are with me.

Since you don't want to choose I'll order the one that you might like."

Amazingly a waiter approach our table armed with his pen and notepad.

"Give us a 9lb snow crab with all the trimmings. A small seafood platter."

"Bread or rice love?"

Wait? Snow crab? Did he read my mind? You know what? That werewolf theory is coming back.

"Garlic bread" I murmured.

Snow crab....

Snoe crab....

Snow crab....

"Garlic bread. 2 water and 1 pitcher of your orange juice. Oh look love they have chocolate cake. The whole cake."

I just nodded without understanding anything.

Still focused that he ordered a freaking snow crab.

Gideon finished ordering and I am still in Lala land thinking about snow crab. Suddenly he placed the coffee in front of me.

"Drink"

He urged me to take a sip of the coffee.

I grab the cup and I observe that the coffee is cold and there is a white cream on top. I might looking at it for too long because Gideon informed me that whip cream is the white one.

I am looking at Gideon while I take a sip of this cold coffee. I love it. I finish the whole thing. I lick the remaining coffee on my lips and I saw his attention was transferred to my lips.

I put down the cup but he is still looking at my lips. I can feel my face heating up.

"Ehem.." to draw his attention to my eyes and it work.

"So?"

" its quite bitter but sweet. I like it. I would like to drink this everyday if I can"

"Great. That is caramel frappe. I know that you don't like hot drinks and you love sweet things so I know you will like that."

In record time our food arrive and placed on our table.

The snow crab was placed in front of me.

I can feel myself drooling from all of this food.

The server left.

"Gideon." I looked at him and smiled.

"Do you know that this is the first time I am eating seafood?"

"Really? " he looks at me incredulously.

"Yes. Because it is expensive although I only know few dishes because of unfortunate circumstances but I am grateful that you are giving me a chance to eat this kind of food."

To his surprise I stand up and hugged him. It is an awkward hug since he is sitting and I am standing. He is stiff at first but I felt him kiss my hand.

I went back to my seat and Gideon is intensely looking at me.

In a serious voice he told me

"From now on Ella I promise you that all the luxuries that you can think of will be at the palm of your hand just tell me and I will make it happen."

"Sure" I agreed thinking that he was just joking.

Gideon peels the crab, shrimp,lobsters all of it.

He puts it on my plate. Who would have thought that the CEO of Rosen-Hower is doing this menial task for me. No one would believe me.

In Gideon's delight I enjoy eating all of our food. The snow crab is buttery. I can't believe we finish eating all the food. I was so surprise that he bought a whole cake. I am tempted to eat the whole thing but he convinced me to bring it at home. I agreed.

"I was so full you might roll me out of this place." I told Gideon. He just rolled his eyes at me.

He paid the bill. He did not even look at the reciept.

I thank the the server and the matré.

As we sit on the car with the cake on my lap.

I look at Gideon

" Let's do this again."

"Sure Ella whatever you want."

"Its a date!" I excitedly said.

Gideon is surprise and stares at me and say

" Do you know the meaning of what you just said?"

"Yes? We go out to eat again. I saw it on TV. So its a date!" I smiled.

"Ok then. It's a date love."

And he did something that stole my breath.

He smiled. Like a real smile with dimples and all.
