《Left Broken》Prologue

The sky was a beautiful mixture of orange, yellow and purple. The colors blended together so well that it almost looked surreal to the eye. The sun at the horizon looked like it was slowly dissolving into the waters causing a different set of colors to form on the waters. The beach was calm and the music formed by the waves clashing on the shore was soothing to the ears. The soft white sand was smooth and it glowed under the faint rays' of the sun. The birds chirping were heard faintly as if creating their own personal music. The shadows formed by the line of palm trees on the edge of the beach were eerie but still held a sense of security and calm.
This picture was breathtaking and beautiful. The feeling of bliss and serenity flowed through this view. Even the most frustrated person would stop and soak the tranquility of this picture. Not many were there to enjoy the moment of happiness under these skies but those present grasped the feeling and lived it. The love was felt by the few couples sitting on the beach just enjoying each others company. In this current circumstance the phrase 'Love is in the Air' was absolutely perfect to describe it.
Among these many, sat a couple curled up in a blanket under the shadows enjoying the sunset. They looked so in love that people eyed them with envy. They were lost in there own world that no one on could drive their attention from each other. They were prefect definition for the feeling of love. The girl looked up at the boy and smiled. They didn't speak any words; just the love in their eyes was all they needed to communicate.
As the girl stared at the boy she was caught in his gaze. His mesmerizing turquoise eyes held her in there. He smiled at her and she felt her heart pick up speed. Just his perfect smile could do that to her. He noticed her gaze fall to his lips and he leaned forward to kiss her. The kiss was just a gentle one filled with passion and love. As he pulled back he searched her beautiful grey eyes and saw the love all for him.

"I love you so much with all my heart!" he whispered to her. The girl smiled because she saw the truth in his eyes. All this was what she dreamed for and here she was living it. The perfect house the perfect family and now the perfect boyfriend. She felt that all her prayers have been answered. She smiled and signed contently.
"I love you too!" She whispered back. As they turned back to view the sunset they had a genuine smile plastered on their faces. No matter how many times they stated their love for each other it always felt as if it was the first time. Just being in his arms felt safe beyond any comparison. He muscular arms held her firmly but yet gently. Every movement of his defined the love he felt. She was overwhelmed and wished this moment never to end.
"We will always be together forever!" He promised. She leaned on his chest and closed her eyes. She felt his strong hands tighten around her possessively. Smiling to her herself she nodded and answered,
"Yes, FOREVER!"

Drinker of the Yew: A Necromancer's Tale
Updates Once a Week next update 10/5 Wracked with misfortune, a nameless village along the edge of the Gray Spine rejoiced at the arrival of a paladin. Those celebrations, though, turned to wary tension as the paladin brought an unknown into their midst - his wife Nayinis, who wears the markings of a necromancer. Who is this woman? Why has she come to their village? Nayinis divulges her shadowed past, for she needs the village's trust to defeat the powerful foe that she has been summoned by the divine to face. What to expect: This is a slow-paced, dark, epic-fantasy book written mostly in an archaic first-person style, remniscent of fariy-tale at times. I am expecting the final product to be close to 600-700 pages. The first few chapters introduce a somewhat-steep learning curve of names and mythology of the world that plateaus at aroud chapter 5. Iron and Wood - A Tale Of Empire and Clans
For centuries, the Midlands had been split into fragments. A once glorious, united Empire has become a shadow of its former self. Unity has not returned, and not for the lack of trying. The greatest of these successor states were the Li Dynasty to the south, the rulers of old, and the Emerald Empire to the North, with its vibrant vitality. Unity is the end goal, and both will sacrifice anything to attain this elusive dream. For unity would surely solve the conflict that had long plagued this once prosperous continent. The Ironwood Clan was a prime player. Some would consider them the ones holding the reigns to the horse named 'Unification'. Iron and wood were the backbones of civilization; similarly, the Ironwoods were the backbones of the Northern Empire, and by extension, the people of the Midlands. Their methods, as questionable as they might be, had strengthened the North. Yet, were they enough? In the midst of it all, a young Ironwood who had lost his path must once again find his way. For the sake of his own wellbeing; for the sake of his clan; and for the sake of the Empire and its subjects. However, is he willing to sacrifice for the good of all? Is he willing to condemn some for the sake of others? Is he willing to make the right, albeit harsh, decisions? Only the heavens would know. Disclaimer: This is a work of fiction. Names, characters, businesses, events and incidents are the products of the author’s imagination. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental. Additionally, any views and beliefs expressed by the characters are not the author's own. The story is also not an endorsement of any actions taken within. The 'profanity' and 'sexual content' warning tags are there to be safe (and to leave room for potential future changes), but for now these two things are not inside this novel. This is my take on 'cultivation', though it might be somewhat disconnected from the general idea of the genre. Release schedule: Two chapters a week. The cover was created using wombo art. While I believe that creations using the app are in the public domain, if that is not the case, I will take it down.
