《COME TO ME | PJM》Chapter 60

"Don't rush." Grandma smiled and pointed to Jimin. "Wait for Jimin, he said he also wants to go to the hospital, just go together with him."
"Just let him enjoy his breakfast, I can drive to the hospital by myself...."
Jimin looked at Y/N, raising an eyebrow. "Sit down here, just wait for me."
Y/N gazed at Jimin momentarily, but she didn't reject his offer. Pulling out a chair, she sat opposite of Jimin, next to Grandma.
Sipping her prawn soup, grandma couldn't help but occasionally glance at the couple. A small smile formed on her lips..
Y/N watched Jimin down his breakfast silently. She didn't know whether Jimin was rushing so he go check on Joon Min or whether he didn't want her to wait for him for too long, but he ate his breakfast particularly fast. Quickly eating the last few bites of his toast, Jimin wiped his mouth with a napkin and thanked Y/N for the meal.
Standing up and grabbing his car keys, he beckoned for Y/N to follow him. "Let's go."
Y/N picked up the lunch bag, turning to grandma."Grandma, we're going now." she nodded.
"Go go."
Grandma's mood was especially good today, and a warm smile was plastered on her face.
On the way to the hospital, Jimin and Y/N sat in silence as usual. Jimin eyed Y/N carefully as she gazed out the window. Not liking how quiet it was, Jimin spoke up first. "Why were you up so early today?" he asked.
Y/N glanced at Jimin, not expecting him to ask her a question."I cooked breakfast for Joonie." she replied casually, although she figured Jimin already knew the answer anyway.
"It was rare for you to be able to get up." Jimin smirked teasingly. He knew that Y/N normally wouldn't wake up early if they had sex the night before. It usually made her feel incredibly drained, especially since Jimin somehow had the energy to keep going for hours. Y/N pouted slightly and looked back out the window, not wanting to answer.

As the traffic light turned red, Jimin pulled to a stop and finally turned to Y/N. Using his finger to pull at her turtleneck sweater, he exposed her neck. Red and purple marks colored her normally flawless skin, remnants of last night's activities.
A sly smile creeped up to his face. "You wore this to cover the marks?"
Y/N could feel her face heat up slightly, her cheeks coloring pink. Lightly glaring at Jimin, she swatted his hand away and pulled the collar back over her neck, covering the hickeys.
Y/N coughed awkwardly, fidgeting under Jimin's intense stare. "The weather is cold." She mumbled quietly before looking down at her hands.
"Really?" Jimin smiled at her charmingly. The traffic light turned green again and he placed his hands back on the steering wheel, not saying anything else.
Y/N exhaled sharply, relieved that he dropped the subject. If he had continued questioning and teasing her, how would she answer? Y/N wasn't as shameless as him, she wouldn't know how to answer these kind of questions.
The car turned quiet again, the atmosphere comfortably calm.. All the sudden, Jimin's phone vibrated.
His phone was on the dashboard, closer to Y/N. Jimin glanced over briefly before turning his eyes back to the road. "Could you grab that for me?" he asked.
Y/N picked up the phone, passing it to Jimin. She glanced at the screen momentarily, the caller ID clear on the screen.
Kim Seulgi
Jimin looked at his phone, noticing who was calling. He looked at Y/N wondering if he saw, but she had already shifted her gaze back out the window, saying nothing.
Jimin sighed to himself, answering Seulgi's call.
Seulgi had been at the hospital recovering for a while already. Her health was already in good condition, so doctors allowed her to be discharged. She called Jimin to tell him that after her last check up, she would be able to leave the hospital so she wanted him to go pick her up.
Jimin stayed quiet, not really listening. "I'll come to pick you up after work." he replied.

"Okay, then I will wait for you." Seulgi grinned.
Seulgi's mood was really good today. Y/N could hear her voice faintly over phone.
"I will hang up first, just rest." he spoke, hanging up the phone.
Jimin placed his phone back on the dashboard, glancing at Y.N. Y/N was still looking toward the window, as if she didn't care about their talk on the phone.
She said nothing, her expression completely calm.
---------------
Krystal just got back recently, so she could take care of the dance studio while Y/N stayed in the hospital to accompany and care for Joon Min.
Ever since Joon Min's surgery, both Y/N and Jimin spent most of their time at the hospital. Jimin even worked from Joon Min's room rather than going to his office. Unfortunately, Jimin's work became increasingly busy so he was unable to stay in the hospital as often as he did before. But thankfully Joon Min's condition had stabilised, so he didn't require round-the-clock care any longer.
Parking his car, Jimin and Y/N made their way to Joon Min's room in silence. After briefly checking on Joon Min and having a small chat, Jimin left the hospital and made his way to work.
It was getting dark outside now, and Jimin still sat on his desk, signing piles of documents that littered his table. He groaned, resting his head in his hand, massaging it. It had been a long day, and it didn't seem like the work would be completed anytime soon.
Hearing his phone ring, Jimin lifted his head and glanced at the screen. 'Kim Seulgi.'
Putting down his pen, Jimin inwardly sighed and placed the phone to his ear. He picked up some documents with his free hand, reading. "Seulgi, what's wrong?" He asked.
"Jimin, did you forget?"
"...." Jimin paused and groaned to himself quietly. He had indeed forgotten that he needed to pick Seulgi up from the hospital.
"Jimin..." Seulgi started. Her voice sounded slightly disappointed and annoyed but she didn't say anything else, like she was enduring it. "Then I will wait for you to come, just come now okay?" she spoke, pretending nothing had happened.
Seulgi started to worry that Jimin wouldn't show up, especially since he had forgotten once already. She hesitated before reminding Jimin again. "Jimin, you need to come alright? If not I don't know where I will go." She sulked. "I already sold my house years ago, do I need to stay in a hotel?"
"I already asked Taehyung to arrange a residence for you." Jimin answered faintly. "I will go there now."
Seulgi really didn't have a place to stay and Jimin knew that very well. Her foster father died a few years back, and the house that he left had been sold. Being discharged meant she had nowhere to return to.
Because of this, earlier Jimin had instructed Taehyung to look for a residence for Seulgi. Jimin settled on buying her an apartment.
Setting down the documents, Jimin hung up. He put on his coat and grabbed his car keys, leaving the office to head to his car.
Seulgi looked at the phone for a moment before screaming and throwing it at the ground. She had already arranged her discharge and tidied her things a while ago. Seulgi stayed here waiting for him, but even after a couple hours he didn't appear.
"He forgot, he really forgot about me....." Seulgi bit her lips hard.
"If it was a matter regarding to Y/N and her son, he would not forget right?" she huffed. But he forgot about her so easily!
Neon Yun had opened the door when Seulgi threw her phone to the ground. She ran over to Seulgi, shocked.
Neon Yun bent down to pick up the phone. The phone screen was completely shattered, thin spider web patterns covering the entirety of the screen. Frowning, Neon Yun placed the phone on the table and grabbed Seulgi's arm.
Seulgi's eyes were red and brimming with tears. She breathed heavily, looking down at the floor.
"Seulgi, what happened?"
