Chloe's eyes widened and she stepped back. Her back collided with someone and flinched away from him. She turned to see the tattoed guy standing right behind her.

"W-where are you taking me?" She asked breathlessly.

"Vegas" he replied monotonously.

She looked between him and the jet. She has never been anywhere alone. She spent her whole life in Richmonte and when she ran away, it was with Axel. Her chin trembled, her heart hammered against her chest.

"Look we don't have time for this shit!" he gripped her upper arm and dragged her towards the plane. He tossed her towards the airstairs and gestured her to board the plane.

"Maxim, handle her with care. The girl is pregnant" Andrew said in his laidback, deep voice.

With tear-filled eyes, Chloe ascended the stairs slowly. She could feel Maxim trailing behind her closely. As she entered the plane, Maxim placed a hand on her lower back, taking her along with him.

He seated her in a far corner seat away from all the bodyguards and Andrew.

"Fasten your seatbelt" he ordered

Chloe quietly did everything she was told. She was afraid and regretting saying yes to Andrew in the first place. They were taking her away... She didn't know where... She didn't know why... Her eyes shined with tears but she didn't let them drop down to her cheeks.

"You wanna eat something?" He asked.

Maxim was horrified when he held her twig-like arm. Chloe shook her head and sat with her head down, her hands fisted, her legs shaking. He stood there for few minutes and then walked to his seat.

She felt someone sit beside her and she flinched. Through her hair, she looked to her side to see Andrew assessing her from head to toe.

"We're not going to hurt" he again made it clear. "What's your name?" He asked

"C-ch--- ch..." She stuttered as she was beyond scared. She was traveling to another city with a group of bulky, strong men and she had nothing to defend herself if they tried to have their way with her.

"Ch? Ch? What?" He asked amused.

"Chloe" a tiny whisper.

"Chloe... What?"

"Chloe Jones"

"Well, Chloe, do you have anyone? A father? A mother?"

Chloe shook her head. "No..."

He nodded. "What about a lover?"

"No..."

"The father of your child? Is he in the picture?"

"No"

"So, he knocked you up and fled?" He asked

Chloe glanced at him, her fingernails digging into her palms, drawing blood. "Yes..."

He talked some more, asked her personal question to which she replied honestly. She told him that she ran away from home and ended up on the streets but never telling him Axel's identity or name.

The plane landed in Las Vegas after an hour. They got off the plane. She didn't have any identity or a passport or anything that proved that she even existed but the airport staff completely disregarded her as they saw her with Andrew.

After that Andrew gestured to Maxim to take Chloe with him. A Ferrari, a Limousine, and a Porsche were parked in front. Andrew walked towards the Limo as his guards opened the door for him. Giving Chloe one last look, he gracefully sat in.

Maxim placed a hand on the small of her back and dragged her towards the Porsche. She looked at the Porsche and all she could remember was Axel... All the fun times Axel and Chloe spent in his favorite Porsche.

"Get in" a stern order.

She slid in and fastened her seatbelt before Maxim could tell her to.

"Andrew hardly socializes with his workers. He seems to have taken a liking to you" Maxim said and glanced at Chloe but she remained silent. He frowned and continued driving.

The car stopped and Chloe held her breath. Maxim unfastened his seatbelt. "Follow me," he said and stepped out of the car.

Chloe shakily unfastened her seatbelt and the door to her side flung open. She jumped in surprise.

"Hurry up, princess! I don't have time!" He snarled

Chloe stepped out and Maxim held her wrists. Chloe pursed her lips and pulled her wrists out of his hold. "I can walk on my own!" She snapped

"Oh, so you talk? I thought you were mute" he retorted and turned to walk as Chloe followed him hastily.

Before her, stood a tall modern building. Two tall palm trees guarded the crowded entrance. Maxim entered through a VIP entrance. The beat was vibrating off the walls as she entered and the first thing she noticed at the entrance was the bright spots of neon beer signs on the wall, advertising cleavage of women.

The inside smelled strong of perfume, smoke, sweat, and alcoholic drinks. Strobe lights and blaring bass made the room shake. Neon signs aligned the walls. There were multicolored flashing lights on the dance floor. And the floor had a writhing mass of sweating bodies swaying to the beat.

He stopped outside a red door. He swiped a key and the door opened. Chloe couldn't see anything inside as it was pitch black. Maxim disappeared into the contrasting blackness but Chloe was rooted to her spot.

She wanted to run away. It was a horrible idea; she scolded herself. How can she get into a plane with some unknown men and travel to another city? She almost turned and ran away when a huge gorilla-like guard pushed her in. She staggered in and someone caught her. The red door behind them closed and the corridor dimly illuminated. The blasting music from the club completely cut off giving the impression that the corridor was soundproof.

She immediately stepped back from Maxim. He sighed and shook his head. "I don't think you will adjust in this world" he mumbled more to himself.

They walked down the corridor and stopped outside another door. Maxim swiped the key again and the automated door opened.

Her breathing seized, and the floor shifted underneath her feet as she took in her surrounding. Every muscle in her body screamed at her to flee, but she remained frozen. It was nothing like the nightclub she just came from.

This floor was luxuries. Tassel adorned curtains at the entrance. There was a floor-to-ceiling LED feature wall. Wood tufted panels and rich leathers. It had a spectacular glass partition between every booth. There was a computerized moving light system engineered to generate a multilevel sensory experience.

In every booth, luxurious sofas were placed in a circle around a pole. A pole was placed on a stage that was a bit higher than the sofas. The crowd in here was different than the ones on the dancefloor. In here, everyone looked extremely rich, polished; the men and women both. There were older men as well as younger but what scared her the most was the half-naked women dancing and twirling around the pole.

She had never seen anything like that in her entire life. The stages were filled with piles and piles of cash. Some performers were wearing skimpy clothes, the others were in their underwear and some were completely naked. Chloe noticed the greedy eyes on them like they were ready to devour the women as a whole. But not just women, there were male performers as well equally naked and getting objectified.

Someone snapped their fingers before her eyes and she jolted out of her trance.

"Is she dumb?"

"Seems like it" Maxim answered

Chloe now looked at the woman before her. She had an abnormally enlarged breast and butt with a large flabby belly. She had tons of makeup on her face and a sneer. She looked middle-aged and had a weird metal cane in her hand. The head of a cane was a snake's face made of metal.

"Andrew picked her up from the street. Get her settled in, feed her three times a day; Andrew's orders."

"Why?" She asked venomously

"Ask Andrew!" Maxim gritted through his teeth.

"I mean, she isn't much to look at and she's pregnant" she snarled

"Exactly why she is here!" He answered

A feeling of dread settled in Chloe's stomach. She looked between the two with wide eyes.

"Oh," she pursed her lips. "You mean she's the fantasy girl? Seriously, she just got here!"

Maxim exhaled loudly. "Just make sure she gets everything until Andrew's next order"

The woman rolled her eyes and turned towards Chloe. "Come on"

Chloe silently followed the woman. She entered an elevator and so did Chloe. The elevator was riddled with awkward silence and the loud sound of the woman chewing gum. When the elevator opened Chloe saw a long hallway that had doors on either side much like a hallway of a high-end hotel. She opened a door and gestured to Chloe to come in.

"The name's Marie, what's yours?"

"Chl---"

Marie cut her off. "You know what? I don't fucking care!"

Chloe nodded and looked around the room. It was beautiful much like a five-star hotel room, it reminded her of the room where she and Axel stayed when they first came to California.

"Settle in" she simply said and walked out of the room.

Chloe placed the bag that Ella gave her on the bed and sat down. The tears she had been trying to suppress came out with full force. This wasn't the life she wanted for herself. This wasn't the future she imagined. She wanted to go back in time and accept Ella's help. She should've stayed with her. She wanted to go back and break up with Axel while she still had the chance. She wanted to go back in time and run from the scene when Axel first approached her. She wanted to go back and knock some sense into herself.

She fell in love and made stupid decisions in the name of love that led to all this. She made stupid decisions that ruined her life. She wanted to go to college, become a lawyer and finally have a life, she never had. She wanted to live and all this... was worse than dying.

She placed a hand on her stomach. "You'll be fine. You have me. You will never live a life like this... I love you, baby. You'll be fine" she smiled through the tears.

She got up and walked up to the wardrobe. She pulled out a t-shirt and sweatpants. They weren't her size but they were clean and that's all she needed. She walked to the bathroom and turned on the shower. She stood under the shower and breathed out in relief. The water slowly warmed her, soothing the ache that clawed at her limbs. Her fingers combined through her long hair, dancing into the curly mess, ridding it of all the knots. She dragged the soap over her body, the action soothing her rough, dry skin.

After showering she dried herself and wore clean clothes. She loved the way she smelled after so many days. She combed her hair, trying to untangle the brutal knots.

Someone knocked on the door and she opened it. A maid came in and placed a tray full of food on the coffee table.

The woman was leaving when Chloe said. "Thank you for the food"

She stopped and nodded. "You can call me if you need anything" she smiled and left.

Chloe sat on the couch and stared at the tray full of food. She smiled sadly. "It's not that bad, right, baby? Yesterday we slept under that smelly, old dumpster and now we have a room, a warm bed, and fresh clothes, we showered and now we have fresh food."

She sighed and tears dropped down. "But I'm afraid, baby... I'm afraid of what's to come..."
