She woke up to the sun blaring through her half-broken window.

He woke up to the soft white-gold rays streaming through his blinds.

She sat up and her head collided with the attic's sloped ceiling.

He sat up and leaned against the soft headboard.

She groaned in pain.

He sighed in comfort.

She got off her single hand-me-down mattress.

He got off his luxury king-size bed.

She ran down the stairs to the only bathroom in her house.

He leisurely walked to his en suite bathroom.

After showering, she dug into her tiny closet space looking for clothes that weren't ripped.

With a towel around his waist, he strolled into his walk-in closet and wore his designer clothes.

She wore her worn-out sneakers that were too big for her size. She tied the laces hurriedly and sloppily.

He was having a hard time choosing between all his designer shoes.

She sauntered towards the kitchen to make breakfast for herself and her dad.

A maid pulled out a chair for him as he gracefully sat down on a luxury 20-seater dining table.

She made scrambled eggs for two and ate them like she hadn't eaten in days.

The table before him was filled with all the breakfast delicacies he liked.

She ran out of the house to catch the school bus on time.

The servants opened the huge wooden door as he walked out of his mansion.

The school bus halted at the stop and she immediately jumped in it. She was walking towards the back when a girl tripped her. She fell flat on her face.

The chauffeur opened the car door for him and drove one of his many cars as he comfortably sat in the back.

Not wanting to waste her time, she opened her books to study for the big test.

He was texting his friends like he had no worries in this world.

She waited for all the kids to step down the bus because she was scared of being bullied.

His car stopped right before the school and his chauffeur opened the door for him.

She was the last one to get off the bus.

He got out of the car in a dignified manner and dusted his clothes.

She lowered her gaze and walked straight into the building. No one noticed her.

He took off his sunglasses and confidently walked into the building. He had everyone's attention.

Every day they crossed paths with another completely unaware of how their destinies were intertwined.

After school, she ran outside and noticed all the rich, preppy cheerleaders rehearsing.

After school, he was practicing for a big game.

She was rehearsing alone in the corner staring at cheerleaders and wanting to be a part of them.

He was surrounded by his team. He was having fun with his friends.

Watching the cheerleaders she tried to do a front hurdler.

With the ball in his hands, he ran straight to secure a touchdown.

Her worn-out oversized sneaker flew out of her foot.

He scored a touchdown.

Her eyes followed her sneaker as it flew away.

Something smacked into the back of his head and he staggered to his front.

Laughter echoes in the field and her eyes went round.

He clenched his jaw and turned to glare at her.

Her face heated up with embarrassment.

He picked up her shoe and strode towards her.

She stepped back meekly.

He stopped right before her.

She looked up at his face.

His gaze softened as he looked into her eyes.

She was intimidated by his looks.

He was awestruck by her beauty.

She noticed his big blue sparkly eyes.

He stared into her gloomy green eyes.

Her eyes fell on his pointed nose.

His eyes fell on her cute little nose.

She gawked at his pink perfect lips.

He noticed her chapped pouty lips.

She gaped at his black thick locks.

He was amazed by her fiery red hair.

"I'm sorry" was her first words to him.

"Don't worry about it" was his first words to her.

Her voice was feminine and sultry.

His voice was sensuous and deep.

She looked here and there confused by the way he was staring at her.

"Why I haven't seen you before?" He asked completely forgetting about what just happened.

Because I am not much to look at. She thought.

I could stare at her all day long. He thought.

She shrugged her shoulders meekly.

He nodded mindlessly.

"What's your name?" She asked.

"Axel King, what's yours?" He asked.

"Chloe," She told him. "Chloe Jones"

They smiled staring at one another.

"Uh... Your shoe" He handed her worn-out shoe to her.

She immediately snatched it from his hands. Hoping he didn't notice how dirty and old they were.

And he didn't, because he was too busy staring at the beautiful girl before him to notice anything else.
