《Pranking The Bad Boy》Chapter 23.

"Where in the world were you so long?" Blake asked us as we walked back to where the four were sitting.
"Oh my god! Kennedy, is Ryder holding you captive? Blink twice if yes," Mike said when he saw Ryder's arm around me.
"Relax," I said and rolled my eyes.
I pushed Ryder's arm off me and sat down next to Blake again. Ryder sat in the chair opposite of me and just watched me.
I raised an eyebrow, asking him what he was doing but he just chuckled and shook his head.
"Um..guys?" Blake asked.
"What?" Ryder and I asked.
"Does anybody know how long we have until the party?"
Oh, that's right. I completely forgot the whole reason we were even at the mall. And I hadn't even bought anything yet! God damn it.
"We have about 20 minutes," Justin answered, checking his phone.
"Then shouldn't we go back to the hotel?" Blake said.
"Ugh, fine," I groaned, even though I hadn't bought anything. "Let's go."
We threw away all of the trash and then walked through the mall to get outside.
As we were walking through the doors a guy about my age winked at me while passing us. Ryder shot him an evil glare and protectively put an arm around my shoulders. Or should I say possessively? Doesn't matter...
I grabbed his hand that was hanging around me and squeezed it reassuringly.
"You know," I said as we walked down the street. "Once we get back you're gonna have a big problem."
"Which would be?"
I turned my head to look at him and smiled sweetly .
"My brother."
He got a little tense but kept his cool.
"It'll be fine. You're brother loves me," he said confidently.
"Whatever you say."

"Where is this place again?" one of the guys asked.
"Just down the street," Ryder answered and pointed towards it.
The whole team was walking towards the house where the party was. Everybody had come because they all said they wanted to celebrate in the typical high school way.
I didn't know why we couldn't just go celebrate at a bar or actual club or something but I guess a party wouldn't be that bad.
If you were wondering what I had decided to wear, due to the warm weather, some black jean shorts, a white crop top and I stole a gray flannel from Ryder.
It was already dark outside but luckily it was still warm so no one needed a sweater or a jacket.
"This is it?" Mike asked as we stopped in front of a large house.
It was three stories high and a gray and white color. The front yard was pretty big and the front door was big and made out of wood.
There were people outside drinking and talking on the lawn because it was probably too loud outside. You could hear the music all the way out here, even with the door closed. There were even two people passed out on the lawn.

Suddenly, a girl in bra and underwear ran past us and to the back of the house.
"If this is what a party looks like when they don't win, I don't wanna find out what happens if they do," Blake said.
We all agreed and walked up the steps to the front door.
"Just remember, if you're not back by 10 tomorrow, coach will either leave you behind or whoop your ass," Connor reminded everyone.
Ryder opened the door and we all walked inside. Music was blasting through the speakers and people were dancing and grinding on each other everywhere.
All the guys split up. Some went to the kitchen to get a drink, some went to go dance and the others I had no idea.
Pretty soon Ryder and I were the only ones left. That's when Nick came up to us.
"Hey guys! Sup, Ryder. Hello, beautiful," he greeted and winked at me.
Ryder glared at Nick and pulled me towards him. Nick noticed and smirked at him.
"So glad you could make it," he said.
"I'm here because the team is. Not because you asked me to," Ryder told him.
"Whatever you say," Nick replied. "Enjoy the party. Hopefully I'll catch you later." And with that he walked off and went to talk with another group of people.
Ryder let out an annoyed sigh.
"Let's go get drinks," I suggested and pulled him towards the kitchen.
Ryder didn't complain and followed me. I opened the fridge and looked for anything that tasted good.
"No....no....aha!"
I pulled a bottle of vodka and hpnotiq out of the fridge along with two cans of red bull. I poured all of them into two red solo cups and handed one to Ryder.
"Should I be concerned as to why my girlfriend knows how to make a hpnotiq green lantern?" Ryder asked me and took a sip of his drink.
I smiled widely at him. "I'm your girlfriend?"
He smirked and grabbed my waist with one hand to pull me closer to him.
"I'd like you to be," he answered honestly. "But you should know that I'm new to the whole relationship thing and will not be perfect," he told me seriously.
"I wouldn't want anything else," I told him and gave him a quick kiss. "You know, we're gonna be the most badass couple with our bikes and all that shit."
Ryder laughed. "Is that so?"
I grinned and nodded my head.
"Hey, Ryder is that you?!" I heard someone call.
I turned around and saw a guy, probably a senior, motioning Ryder to come over to where he was standing.
"Derek?" Ryder asked and started to smile. "I'm gonna say hi to Derek. You wanna come?" he asked me.
"No, you go ahead. I'll walk around and check out the place a little," I told him and pushed him towards the Derek guy.

He smiled and kissed my forehead quickly before walking over to Derek.
I finished my drink and threw the cup away before walking past the 'dance floor' and down a hallway. There were a couple people talking or...heavily making out! Okay, next hallway!
I shook my head, trying to get rid of the image and walked down another hallway. There was no one here. That is, until a guy came from the other end of the hallway. He noticed me and smirked. He started to walk towards me. He wasn't stumbling so I knew he wasn't utterly and completely drunk. Although his breath did smell a little like tequila.
"Well hello, cupcake," he said. "What's your name and why are you all alone?"
"Uh, not interested. That's what my name is," I said and tried to walk past him but he grabbed my arm and pulled me back.
"I think I need to teach you some manners," he said.
"Actually, I like the way I act just fine," I told him and tried to get out of his hold.
He only tightened his hand around my arm and pushed me against the wall. Then he ran a finger over my cheek.
"You're a pretty girl," he said.
I rolled my eyes and kept calm. "You know, if you would have started with a 'hi, may name is blank. I'm a senior at Weston high. Nice to meet you' then maybe people would actually like you," I said.
I know. Maybe not the smartest thing to say in these type of situations but I couldn't help it. Being sarcastic and all that stuff was basically embedded into my blood.
"Oh but you don't need to like me in order to spend a night with me," he said and smirked.
I looked directly at him. "Yeah, not happening."
He just chuckled and trailed his hand down my arm.
"Aaaaalright," I said and punched him in his face.
He staggered back and reached up his hand to his cheek. He looked up and smirked at me before walking towards me again.
"I like it when a girl plays hard to get."
I rolled my eyes and kneed his crotch when he came too close to me. He fell onto his knees and clutched his crotch.
I put a finger under his chin and made him look up at me. "You know, if you ever want a stable girlfriend, or boyfriend either is fine, you're gonna need to shape up."
He grabbed my wrist and pulled me closer to him.
Then, out of nowhere, a fist punched him and he fell to the ground. He lay there unconsciously.
I looked up at the guy who had punched him. It was Ryder.
"I had him. I was taking care of him just fine," I said and pouted.
"I don't care. If a guy is bothering you or touching you I won't hesitate rip his head off his body," he replied.
I rolled my eyes.
"How come I can't leave you for 5 minutes without you getting into any trouble?" Ryder asked me as we walked back to where all of the people were dancing.
I shrugged.
We stood off to the side and watched as people got drunk and danced to the music. I was getting bored so I turned to Ryder.
"Wanna dance?" I asked.
"No."
"Why?" I pouted.
"Because I don't dance," he replied.
"But you danced yesterday at the club," I reminded him.
"Because I was drunk," he said. "If I was sober I would not have put a foot on the dance floor."
"But I wanna dance," I whined.
"Kennedy, I'm not going to dance."
I stopped pouting and looked straight at him. "Fine. Then I'll just find another guy to dance with. I'm sure there are plenty of other cute boys here," I said and pretended to look around
Ryder grabbed my chin and turned my head back around to look at him. He was scowling and in return I smirked at him.
"I don't want you dancing with any guy but me," he said in a low tone.
"Well then I guess you're gonna have to deal with it," I said and pecked his lips before pulling him to the dance floor.
I turned around to face him and saw him rolling his eyes. An upbeat song started playing and I grinned childishly.
"Now is the point where you decide! Either dance with me or watch as I dance with someone else!" I shouted over the music and started to sway my hips.
Ryder hesitated, weighing his options but in the end grabbed my waist and pulled me closer.
"Smart choice," I shouted and kept on dancing to the music.

After a few songs the music got cut off and the lights were turned on. People groaned in protest and asked each other what had happened.
I saw Nick stand up on a table and shout to get everyone's attention.
"Excuse me! Sorry for the interruption, but I just wanted to congratulate the winning team that has so gladly joined us tonight!"
The were a few claps and hollers from the group of people. Ryder and I looked at each other suspiciously.
There was something weird going on. Why would they want to congratulate the team that beat them in their own city? And I'm pretty sure it wasn't just great sportsmanship.
"So I'd like to ask the team captain, Ryder, to come up here to get a proper applause," Nick said and smirked at us.
