《BadBoy Tutor》Chapter Fifty-Seven

The school day was going by so fucking slowly. It felt like each minute lasted about ten and it was seriously painful having to endure this. Thankfully, I was now in my last lesson which was gym. Jodie smiled from beside me, getting changed into her gym clothes. "Honestly how excited are you on a scale of one to ten?" She asked.
I shrugged, pulling my hair into a ponytail. I was already dressed but was waiting for Jodie as she was late. "10." I said with a light chuckle.
"It's weird." She pauses, tilting her head slightly. "I mean, don't get me wrong I would miss Cole but the way you two are when your apart. "She smiled. "I just find it funny."
I raised an eyebrow, having no idea what the fuck she was saying. "What do you mean?"
She shrugged casual and turned her head to me, her dark hair hitting her cheeks in the process. "You both do it."
I shook my head, not understanding her as I gave her a questioningly look. "Do what?"
She smiled. "Act weird. It's hard to explain really but that's why it was so obvious to us that you both liked each other."
"Again, what do you mean?" I asked dryly.
She laughed lightly in response. "Um let me think how to put this into words. I guess you both always find an excuse to talk about the other person."
I tilted my head, waiting for her to elaborate. She grinned and clapped her hands. "I got one!" She exclaimed. "Like yesterday at lunch, the four of us were literally talking about our favourite sandwich fillings."
Riveting conversations I know.
"And you still found a way to talk about Reece. What did you say again?" She grinned, clicking her fingers before her eyes widened. "Oh yeah!" She exclaimed and I rolled my eyes at her Jodieness. "You said how Reece likes ham and cheese without even realising it."
I narrowed my eyes at her. "I did not say that."
She grinned, showing her perfect teeth. "Yes you did. And the other day when we went shopping, you picked up different items saying how if Reece was there he would get them. You mumble them as well, more like just talking to yourself." She chuckles, pulling her wild frizzy hair into a ponytail. "But the funny thing is Reece does the same thing."
I raised an eyebrow with a smile. "He does?"
She nodded, standing up and grabbing my hand as we walked out onto the field. To make this day any worse, we were fucking running. "Yep!" She smiles widely and I'm not sure how she is so happy right now when were about to do track.
Honestly I had already thought about just skipping but with having nearly a month off school my attendance was already shit. Reece was Reece so he somehow easily got away with missing a week off school. He was In New York as that's where the majority of his family live and he hadn't seen them since Ellie's party back in December.
Most of his family tried to come down and see him while he was in his coma but Amanda refused it. She was so overwhelmed already that the thought of having the whole family there would make her feel worse. According to Reece, they all understood but it wasn't easy for them as he was the favourite in the family.
His words, not mine.

"Girls, start running!" Our teacher ordered us as we spared each other a glance. Jodie's face was annoyed and mine was filled with disgust as we began jogging. We were both the most unfit people and were panting within two minutes.
"Stupid Reece and Cole would do this with ease" I said in between breathes.
She turned to me with an eye roll. "Tell me about it."
I laughed. "Jake would be dying with us."
She laughed in response and we spent the rest of the class trying not to die and just chatting about prom which was in a couple months. We were both sweating buckets as we headed back to the locker rooms behind the rest of our class. I spotted Chloe with her famous high ponytail as she walked alone. Ever since Amber got expelled and Mona wanted nothing to do with them, Chloe's only friends were Brad and Jackson.
With Amber gone, the school didn't really look up to them anymore. In fact, they couldn't give two shits what Chloe got up to. Chloe was a bully along with Amber so nobody liked her. I even felt a little guilty when I see her alone but then I realise what a total bitch she was to both me and everyone else in the school.
Karma is a bitch.
Speaking of Chloe, I hadn't seen Amber or Adam since. Apparently, Adam had moved town since Peter got released from prison. I had got this gossip from a girl in my biology class but she had no idea about Peter it was just the dates added up. I assumed his mum moved them away so he couldn't find them.
His mum obviously knew of the Reece and Amanda situation and to be honest I don't blame her for moving away. Adam however moved without a goodbye to anyone, apparently not even his supposed 'friends.' I wondered how amber reacted to this.
Shaking my head of the thought to why I would give a shit, I breathlessly took a seat on the bench in the locker room. Jodie smirked at me. "You might wanna shower before Reece gets home tonight."
Flipping her off, I quickly got changed and waited once again for Jodie as she was slow as fuck. "So what time does his flight get in?" She asked, throwing on her bag and falling in step with me as we exited the locker rooms.
"About 9."
She spared me a glance with an eyebrow raised. "Are you gonna meet him at the airport?"
I shook my head with a laugh. "No I don't wanna seem desperate to see him. Plus, he's probably gonna be tired and want to go home and- "
She silenced my rambling with a straight look. "Are you dumb?"
I was slightly taken back as I chuckled. "Well yeah but- "
She shook her head with a smile. "I bet he'll go straight to your house."
"I bet he won't." I replied as we stopped in the hall, staring at each other.
"Oh it is on!" We both exclaimed at the same time, making a five dollar bet on it.
When I arrived home, I noticed Ali's car in the driveway. Dad and her had become closer than ever and I was seeing much more of her. I didn't mind it, I was very happy for them but sometimes it was difficult and dad knew that. It's so hard to miss your mum more than anything in the world and then see your dad with another woman.

But I knew that my mum would have wanted him to move on and be happy, so therefore I was happy. Ali was the complete opposite to my mother. My mum looked similar to me, long brown curly hair and dark brown eyes. Whereas, Ali had straight blonde hair with vibrant blue eyes.
I pushed open the door and was greeted by laughter. I peeked my head into the living room to see Ali and my dad laughing at the tv. Both heads snapped to mine with warm smiles. "Hey Sam!" Ali greeted with a warm smile. She then wiggled her eyebrows. "Are you excited for Reece to come back?"
I shot my dad a glare, which he just gave a light smirk in response before I turned back to her. Reece had met Ali a few times, for the first time when she walked into us making out in the living room. That made a lovely introduction.
"Not you too." I sighed, slumping down in the recliner. "I've been dealing with this shit all day from my friends." Ali laughed loudly and dad chuckled.
Dad turned to me. "Well were going out tonight so your welcome to invite him over." He then narrowed his eyes at me. "Just make sure to use contraception."
My cheeks grew hot as I glared at him. "Dad!" I hissed, holding my cheeks in my hand.
"What?" He raised an eyebrow. "I'm not stupid Sam, you're both young and- "
I shot up from my seat. "We are so not having this conversation." I yelled, scrambling to get the hell out of there. Both laughed loudly at me as I rolled my eyes, lazily walking up to my bedroom. I groaned loudly as I fell down onto my bed.
"Guess it won't hurt to have an afternoon nap." I murmured to myself and before I knew it I was asleep.
I woke up to an obnoxiously loud banging on the front door. Disorientated as fuck, I rubbed my still tired eyes and sluggishly pulled myself out of bed. The banging didn't stop and I rolled my eyes at the impatient fuck. I jogged down the stairs, my eyes widening when I nearly tripped over my own feet. "I'm coming!" I yelled impatiently as the banging continued.
I threw open the door and my eyes widened when I saw who was on the other side. He looked absolutely miserable, with bad under eye circles and red eyes. He gave me a small smile. "Hey Sam."
"Adam?" I spluttered, my eyebrows furrowing in confusion. "What- why are you here?"
He shook his head, his face full of guilt. It was dark outside so I knew it was late, how long had I slept for? "I just want to talk to you that's all."
I sighed, moving back so he could come in. Closing the door behind him, I turned and leaned against the door, crossing my arms over my chest. I raised a brow. "What about?" I questioned. He gave me a small smile in gratitude as I allowed him to speak, rather than demanding him to leave like I usually would.
"I heard about what happened with my father and I-" He shook his head again. "I'm so sorry you went through that Sam and with what happened to Reece- Fuck!" He exclaimed, pinching the bridge of his nose. "I had no idea the fucker was even out of prison."
I smiled lightly at him. "It's not your fault Adam."
He huffed loudly. "It is!" He exclaimed, eyes wide. "Reece was right to hate me, I refused to testify about him in court so it was just his word against Amanda's. He- he could've had a longer sentence if I wasn't such a pussy."
I furrowed my eyebrows, Reece never told me that part.
I shook my head. "It's over now, you can't change the past."
He nodded. "I know I can't, I just wanted to see you one last time and make it right. I'm so sorry for everything Sam, from me cheating on you to everything Amber did. I'm glad she got expelled, what she did to you was horrible and- "
Ding dong.
I smiled at Adam, holding up a finger. "One second." I said and he nodded. I turned and walked to the front door and pulled it open.
A smile appeared on my face as I saw the one person I was missing so much. All thoughts escaped my head as he smiled widely back. "Hey Sammy." He grinned, grabbing me by the waist and pulling me into him, crashing his lips on mine. My arms instantly snaked around his neck as I kissed him back, completely forgetting about the person standing behind me.
A loud and awkward cough behind me made Reece instantly pull his head from mine as he had a confused look on his face. He stepped away from me and glanced over my shoulder to see who was coughing. His face turned from confused, to shock and then to pure anger. "What the fuck is he doing here?" Reece snarled, pushing past me lightly and grabbing Adam by the collar.
My eyes widened as I kicked the door shut, turning to them. "Reece Calm down." I yelled. Reece snapped his head around to mine, his face hardened with anger. Ignoring me, he turned to Adam.
"I'll ask again, what the fuck are you doing here?" He yelled loudly, his knuckles turning white as he held Adam by the collar. Adam looked shocked as he turned to me and then Reece.
"I just came to apologise."
Reece shook his head with disbelief. "Well your apology isn't fucking taken. Get out!"
I placed a hand on Reece's shoulder as he snapped his head around to mine. "Reece it's fine." I said calmly and his face softened slightly as he pulled back, dropping Adam. Adam scrambled slightly and took a deep breath.
"Reece I know you hate me, and you have every right to but what he did- I." He sighed loudly. "I'm really sorry."
Reece glared at him but it slightly faltered at his words. "I accept your apology, now fuck off."
Adam nodded, standing up straight and wiped his hands down his jeans. He walked to the front door and threw his head over his shoulder. "I'm happy for you two by the way."
I looked at Reece who was already looking at me and then back to Adam. I grabbed Reece's hand and held it firmly, giving it a gentle squeeze. I could hear his erotic breathing calming down beside me. "Thanks." I breathed.
Adam smiled at the both of us. "Have a good life Sam." He said and then turned to look at Reece. "I hope you can forgive me for everything although you won't see me again but I just want you to know I don't hate you, I never did. I was always jealous of the mum that you had and the family you had and I'm sorry for taking that out on you, you didn't deserve it." And with that he opened the front door and closed it behind him.
I looked up at Reece who was staring at the door in disbelief. "Hey." I whispered and he slowly turned his head to me. "I missed you."
He shook his head and then smiled, all previous anger disappeared. He cupped my cheek with his hand gently. "I missed you too." He grinned, pulling my face and closing any distance between us whilst he placed his lips on mine. I kissed him back and after a couple moments pulled back with a smile on my face.
"Fuck sake." I mumbled as he leaned back and raised an eyebrow down at me.
"What?"
I chuckled. "Thanks a lot, now I owe Jodie 5 bucks."
