《BadBoy Tutor》Chapter Forty-Nine

I smiled warmly at Amanda as the five of us walked into Reece's house. She grinned at me as Ellie beamed brightly. "Sammy!" She exclaimed as I held my arms out, allowing her to jump in my arms. I picked the little cutie up.
"Hey Ells." I smiled softly at her as she then noticed Jake and squirmed to reach him. I passed her to Jake and the five of us laughed at them as he spun her around. Reece shook his head with a smile as Cole and Jodie laughed along with me.
"Sam can I talk to you?" I heard Amanda's voice as I snapped my head around to meet her warm smile. Reece gave her a questioning look but she shook off her son, nodding for me to follow her. I left behind my confused friends as I did so. I nervously fiddled with my thumbs as I followed Amanda into the living room. I closed the door behind us and took a seat after she gestured for me to do so.
We both sat down on the sofa and I anxiously glanced around the room, looking everywhere but her. She laughed lightly. "Don't look so nervous Sam, I want to give you something." I furrowed my eyebrows as I turned to her.
She opened her bag and pulled out a large envelope, handing it over to me. I continued with a confused expression as I opened it. I pulled out a large sheet of paper with narrowed eyes as I scanned the sheet.
"Oh my god." I spluttered out as I turned to her with a shocked expression. "Life?" I exclaimed with pure shock as my smile grew so fucking wide and I placed the paper on the couch. She nodded proudly with a large smile as she pulled me in for a hug. I returned it as I grinned into the hug. "I can't believe it!" I beamed as she chuckled, pulling away.
"I'm not going to say sorry because I know what you'll say, but I feel so terrible for what happened to you. I assume my son has already told you what happened before and I'm happy he has." A tear slipped from her eye. "I'm so glad he met you Sam, I've never seen him happier than he has been the last few months. I knew I loved you the second I met you and there is not a single person in this world I would want him to be with more."

This made my heart pang from happiness. "I love you like a daughter and I want you to know that I'm so happy for you two." She added with the warmest smile possible.
I smiled back, happy that Reece had told his mum about us. "I love you too!" I smiled, giving her another quick hug. "Now go get back to your friends." She instructed and I nodded with a small laugh.
"Will do, thank you again Amanda." I grinned and she shook me off with her hand as I walked back to find my friends with a wide smile on my face. I found them in the kitchen, laughing around the island with each other. All their heads snapped to mine, including Ellie's who was having the time of her life as she sat in Jake's arms playing with Jodie's hair. It was a real fucking cuteness overload. She ran off to play with Amanda as the rest of us stayed in the kitchen.
"What are you so happy about?" Jake asked, a sly smirk forming on his face. "Did Amanda give you some condoms, cos I know my boy Reece will- "
"Shut up Jake." Me and Reece said at the same time and glanced at each other. He looked down at me with such a look of love and I returned it.
"Fuck me, I'm still not used to this." Cole Joked, eyeing the two of us with a smirk.
Jodie laughed in response. "Yeah well I noticed it first."
Jake scoffed. "Fuck off you did Jod, I noticed it the second they had their first conversation."
Cole laughed. "Yeah right, I noticed the sexual tension before both of you!"
Me and Reece watched with amusement at our best friends arguing as he appeared beside me, wrapping an arm around my waist. I smiled up at him as he gave me a soft peck on the cheek. "Did she tell you?" He whispered and I nodded in response.

We both got interrupted by the sound of Jake. We snapped our heads around to see him standing there, with his hands on his hips dramatically. He blew a strand of light blonde hair from in front of his eyes. "For fuck sake, I just realised that I'm the fucking fifth wheel!"
And then we all burst out laughing.
I said goodbye to Reece after an intense make out session inside his car. I refused to let him walk me to my door because if I did, we wouldn't be able to depart and he needed to go home. I smiled to myself the whole way as I walked up to my front door and pushed it open.
"Dad?" I called out.
"In here." He replied and I followed the voice into the living room. He looked up at me from where he laid on the sofa with a beer in his hand. "How was school?"
"Good." I said as I sat down next to him.
He turned his head with a smile. "And Reece?"
Rolling my eyes, I chuckled. "Also good."
Dad sighed. "Speaking of your relationship, I need to talk to you." I snapped my head around and narrowed my eyes at him.
"We are not about to have that conversation!" I hissed and he laughed loudly, shaking his head. I sighed with relief as he sobered up quickly.
He took a deep breath and I raised an eyebrow at him, slightly worried as I awaited what he was going to say. "I don't really know how to say this." He sighed again.
"Dad just say it." I urged him, becoming slightly anxious.
"I met someone." He blurted out. He scanned my face but my face was shocked, before I grinned.
"Really? Who is she?" I asked.
He did a double take. "You're ok with it?"
I laughed lightly. "Of course I am; why wouldn't I be?"
I knew why he thought I wouldn't be, but all I wanted was for my dad to be happy and if he was with this lady friend, then I would support it no matter what. He smiled down at me. "What did I do to get such an amazing daughter?" He questioned with a large smile.
I shrugged arrogantly. "I really don't know how you managed it." I teased. "Now who is she?" I urged, leaning my chin on the palms of my hands.
He smiled at the thought of her. "Her name's Ali, she's an accountant at work."
I returned his smile, shaking his shoulder. "I'm really happy for you dad!"
He breathed a sigh of relief. "How do you feel about meeting her? I've been seeing her for a few months but I was scared to tell you because of- "
He went quiet at the end and I smiled sadly at him. "Mum loved you, so fucking much but I know she would want you to move on. If you're happy, then I'm happy."
He shook his head. "I love you so fucking much Sam." He smiled, pulling me in for a hug. I hugged him back tightly.
I wiggled my eyebrows after I moved back from the hug. "So when do I get to meet this woman?"
He laughed lightly. "I was thinking of going out for dinner Friday if that works for you?"
I nodded with a smile. "Sounds great."
