《BadBoy Tutor》Chapter Two

"No, no. There has to be someone else." I complained for the hundredth time in the five minutes since he had told me my new tutor. The problem was at this school that if you were failing a subject, tutoring was a compulsory and there was no way of getting out of it. They would force you to either stay after school or do it in their spare time. However, if the person's grades do not improve, serious measures will be put in place. I guess that is their way of knowing if the students are actually sticking to the tutoring.
He sighed, running a hand through his turning grey hair. "Look. This was the last option for me too, but he's one of best in the year so you need to suck up whatever feud you have with Mr parker and put it behind you or there will be major consequences if you fail your finals in a couple months' time."
I ran a hand through my dark brown hair and sighed, knowing there was no way of getting out of this. I doubt Reece would ever help me, even if he was being threatened with suspension. I walked to the door and swung it open, stopping in my tracks when I saw Reece waiting impatiently outside. His foot was tapping impatiently on the floor and I noticed a pair of headphones hanging around his neck as we locked gazes. Sudden realisation appeared on his face and he shook his head.
He grimaced. "Please tell me the student they're forcing me to help isn't you?" He hissed, his voice filled with venom. I huffed angrily, stepping away from the door as I leant on the wall, letting it slam shut behind me. He eyed my angry face cautiously and his eyes flashed with horror after he peered into the class, realising there was indeed no other student in there. I take it that Mr Harvey told him to wait here for the student he was tutoring, without actually telling him who the unluckily person was.
Turns out that person was me.
His grimace soon turned into a scowl. "Nope, that's not happening!" He yelled, busting open the door as it missed hitting me in the face by about a centre meter. I instantly heard yelling and slid down the wall, awaiting him to come out and tell me the good news that it wouldn't be him. Instead, he came out a couple minutes later with an even more pissed off expression.
I raised an eyebrow as I got up, searching his gorgeous face for answers. We were the only people left in the school apart from the teachers and janitors so it was eerily quiet. He clenched his fists and his sharp jaw ticked with anger. "That fucker said that if I don't tutor your dumbass, he's going to fucking expel me." My eyes widened with shock at the fact he would be expelled unless he helped me pass math, until I caught onto him calling me a dumbass and my eyes harden.
"Like you're a fucking treasure!" I retorted, our both extremely angry faces having a stare off with each other. Reece was scowling as he stared me down but I didn't back down as I glared back even harder.
"Fuck this shit." He spat and turned on his heels, stalking off angrily in the other direction. I clenched my fists, huffing as I stormed towards the parking lot.
"Fucking dickhead." I muttered as I stormed the entire way home. When I got home, I was even more unreasonable as I was when I left.

I sat on my bed with my homework sprawled out in front of me as I listened to my friends bicker through our group facetime. I had been home for a couple hours procrastinating and watching Netflix so I finally had to make a start on the numerous homework's I had. I had told my friends about the whole tutoring thing and they both seemed to find it hilarious. My friends thought it was ridiculous as to why we both hated each other so much. At first Jodie felt bad for me but gave in with laughing with Cole at my sour face towards the situation. Cole proceeded to tell me that Reece wasn't actually that bad, once you get to know him. I forgot that they both used to be friends for a brief time when we were kids. They never really fell out, just drifted apart when they both quit the soccer team together, due to Brad becoming captain and being a total dickhead to everyone.
I wouldn't doubt that if Brad was like that to Reece now, he would punch him so hard he'd end up in A & E. Amber and her group stayed clear of Reece and Jake, as they made it crystal clear they wanted nothing to do with them. I knew that Reece and Adam hated each other for a different reason, Adam just lied to me and said that Reece hated him just like he hated Brad and Jackson. Apart from I knew that wasn't true. Amber, Chloe and Mona tried too hard to get Jake and Reece into their friendship group and to date them, but just got utterly rejected. They both slept around a lot from what I heard but refused to go near them three girls. It made me laugh really, they were the most popular girls in the school, yet two of the hottest guys in the school refused to go near them.
Jodie calling my name snapped me out of my thoughts as I turned to her. She was sat on her bed in her cream coloured room as she grinned at me. "Sorry." I muttered, smiling at her to carry on with what she wanted to say. She rolled her eyes at my distracted face but chuckled nevertheless. She picked up a dark green dress and held it against her chest.
My eyes widened at how beautiful the dress was as she explained that she brought it for a date with Harry to try and rekindle their relationship. I noticed the pained expression on Cole's face before he quickly recovers it with a blank expression. My heart panged for him as he spoke. "Ive got to go. I'm meeting that hottie from biology." He says and then leaves the chat. Jodie gives me a questioning look but I just shrug it off as we carry on talking as she gets ready for her date. As she's applying her mascara she sighs. "Do you know what's wrong with Cole? He's been so off with me lately." She asked sadly.
I felt bad lying to her but I had to for Cole. I couldn't ever break his trust with something that could literally ruin their friendship. I wasn't sure if Jodie liked him back in that way, in some ways I was certain from the glances whenever she spoke about someone she liked or the way her face fell she saw him making out with other girls. But at the same time, she was so excited when she told me about Harry that I really didn't know what to think. I wanted to ask her so many times but I didn't want to raise suspicion if I just randomly asked her if she liked Cole more than a friend completely out of the blue.

I just wish it didn't hurt Cole the way it did. The only reason I knew that he was in love with her was because he drunkenly told me last year when she went to the bathroom when we were hanging out at his house. However, I did have my suspicious, even though he hid it very well. Ive had to keep it a secret ever since. I smiled softly at her through the screen. "I'm not sure. He's been weird around me too." I lied.
She nodded, swiping the black wand against her already long eyelashes. We carried on talking for a little longer until Jodie was ready to go. I wished her a nice date and finished up all my homework before jogging downstairs. My dad was away on a two-week business trip but because I was 18, he let me stay by myself. Most of my family lived far away apart from my dad's brother who lived in the next town over. I made myself a quick dinner and spent the rest the evening lazing about on the sofa until I dozed off into a dreamless sleep.
I smiled to myself proudly when I actually made the bus this morning. The walk to school was no longer than 40 minutes but who has time for that in the morning? Not me. I would've asked Jodie or Cole to pick me up but Cole lives on the opposite side of town and Jodie gets driven by Harry on the way to his own high school. Cole was extremely wealthy and lived in the richest side of town, along with some of the other richest people from our school.
Reece being one of them.
I mentally smacked myself for randomly thinking of him as I dreaded going to my math class. I had math everyday but today I had it first period so it didn't help that I was in an especially bad mood that early in the morning. At least if it wasn't 9am when I had to put up with Reece, I might've been able to deal with him better. I took a seat on my own at the back as the bus was filled with sophomores and younger, basically anyone who wasn't legal to drive. I sighed, knowing I wasn't getting my car back for at least a couple weeks as it has some major damage. I had saved up money for a year to buy my car and it was only a crappy little car but it was my baby.
It had an engine failure so I took it into the shop a week ago and wanted to cry when they told me it would take a month minimum as they were incredibly busy and it had a large problem. The bus ride was short and within ten minutes I was entering class. I walked over to Jodie where she had been moved to the opposite side that Cole was on. She beamed up at me as Melissa glared at us. Unluckily for Jodie and Cole, they were both forced to sit at the front next to the smartest two in the class.
I smiled softly and ignored the glare of the girl next to her. "How was your date?" She smiled back at me and went to reply before a certain annoying voice butt in.
"This is a math class, not a gossip one." Melissa scolded us like she was the teacher. She then gave me a fucking annoying smirk. "No wonder you're failing." If there wasn't an entire class of witnesses in the room, I would've ripped out that stupidly perfect bun she wore every day to school.
I turned to her and laughed. "Lighten up Mel, stop being so uptight for once." I replied and her face shook angrily and she looked constipated. If there was anything Melissa hated more than troublemakers, it was the nickname Mel. I ignored her face and turned back to Jodie's wide smile.
"It was great actually. I told him about everything I was feeling and he was really sorry about being so self-consumed. He's been under so much stress lately because college scouts are going to be at his next few games. He's promised to stop stressing about it so much and make more of an effort." She grinned and I returned it. She then smirked and eyed Melissa before continuing. "And then we had crazy makeup sex. Geez Sam, it was amazing." Melissa's eyes widened and her face shrivelled up with utter disgust. We burst out laughing at her expression and I carried on chuckling until I reached my seat.
Reece wasn't here yet and 5 minutes after Mr Harvey started boring the fuck out of us, the door swung open. "I'm here, I'm here!" Reece yelled, mimicking me from yesterday and the class snickered. I glared at him all the way until he sat down next to me and I wacked him on the shoulder.
"That wasn't funny!" I glared but he just shrugged me off, a smirk on his face.
"Oh but it was Sammy." I rolled my eyes at the name he had used to wind me up since last year when I began dating Adam.
"You know I hate that name." I muttered, quietly as his smirk grew wider.
"Exactly why I use it."
I rolled my eyes once again and noticed that he seemed in a much better mood than when he found out he was tutoring me yesterday.
I raised an eyebrow warily at him. "Why are you in such a good mood?" I questioned, rubbing my tired eyes with my sleeves and then cursing under my breath, remembering I had put freaking mascara on.
He smirked down at me. "I just met Joanna in the supply closet, can you blame me?"
I narrowed my eyes at him but didn't reply. Joanna was a sophomore who had the biggest boobs in the school and I felt bad that that's what she is known as.
"Plus, also knowing I can get away from you after an hour." He added sarcastically and I just smiled lightly in return.
He raised a dark brown, almost black eyebrow. "What? No rolling your eyes or telling me to go fuck myself?"
I fought back rolling my eyes at his comment and smiled sweetly at him. "Nah. I realised that I don't actually hate you." I paused, fighting off a smirk but I kept the sickly sweet smile on my lips as I leaned closer to him. "I realised that I'm in love you."
His dark green eyes widened at my comment as he staggered back, trying to create distance between us but I kept on closing in until he was practically against the wall to get away from me. I gave him the most seductive look I could muster and I battered my lashes up at him, stroking my left hand up his muscly arm. He tensed underneath my touch as his mouth opened and closed like a fish.
For once, I had made the dumbass uncomfortable.
"S-Sam." He awkwardly replied and I burst out laughing, causing a couple glances from students around me but I couldn't hold it in.
"Y-you should've seen your face." I cried, pointing at him with my index finger and cackling like a kid on crack. His shocked expression hardened as he returned from squirming up against the wall to sitting normally in his seat. My laugher sobered up instantly when a large, rather hairy hand slammed down on our shared desk. I gulped as I looked up at the raging bald man standing in front of us.
"Miss Walker!" He bellowed, loud enough for the neighbouring classes next to us to hear. "I've had enough of you disrupting my class. This is your final warning or you will have detention again with me!" Reece snickered next to me and I bit my lip so hard when I made eye contact with Cole, who was cackling at the front of the class, throwing his head back in laughter. I turned my attention back to the raging man in front of us and my lip quivered when Mr Harvey's face went red as a tomato, shaking with even more anger. His head turned to Reece. "And you too!" He then snapped his head to mine. "If I hear another peep from you two, you'll both have an afterschool detention with me. Understand?" He yelled and before we could nod, he turned around and reappeared at the front.
After a couple minutes, my laughter finally died down and I glanced at Reece, only to find him already looking at me. He smirked, showing off his perfect white teeth. "You really shouldn't have done that Sammy." He said, referring to when I pranked him a couple minutes' prior. His smirk grew wider as he leant closer to me and fanned his hot breath over my neck. It sent shivers rippling throughout my entire body as I gulped at the proximity between us. "I'll get you back for that." He whispered and I tensed at the way it sent tingles down my spine.
Why on earth was I reacting to him like this?
He then leant back on his chair and ran a hand through his dark brown, curly hair. After we'd discussed that we would begin tutoring after school today, which we both nearly argued over, we spent the rest of the lesson in surprisingly comfortable silence. Reece had been told yesterday that he would have to tutor me at least 3 times a week for an hour, seeing as we both didn't want to do it at school, we agreed he would come to my house tonight at 8 o'clock.
Yay me.

8 184Long Island
Long Island was not the first virtual reality game or to say a VRMMORPG. Not the one which changed the world and became a legend. No, it was made when there were lots (quite a few) of virtual reality games already on the market. Each game had its own unique AI feature, its own unique adventure, promising everyone a chance to become King, if not a God. In such a time Long Island was made. Just a little different, just a little unique. Swamy was starting his own adventure, in life and in game.Note - Thanks @DameCarnelian for the cover. Just so people don't get confused, that ship is not Raka's ship :)
