The bell rang and the period came to an end, the professor came out and glared at Chaeryeong.

"Go inside the class and make sure you don't do such things again."

The professor spoke and Chaeryeong bowed at her until she left. She side eyed the professor and then went to the classroom.

She saw Taehyun smirking at her. She rolled her eyes and went to him.

"What was that for?!"

Chaeryeong asked as she stood in front of him while he just smiled.

"What are you trying to say?"

Taehyun asked her back while she just sighed out of frustration.

"Oh don't try to be innocent, you know very well what I am talking about!"

Chaeryeong yelled at him.

"Oh, I get it."

Taehyun again laughed.

"I saw you throwing paper balls at the professor, I just told her the truth."

He spoke.

"Oh please, you also know that it was you and not me."

Chaeryeong replied to which he again chuckled.

"Everyone! Was it me who threw the paper ball at the professor or was it Chaeryeong?"

He shouted to get everyone's attention and shifted his gaze towards Chaeryeong after finishing.

"It was Chaeryeong!"

Everyone started saying and Taehyun smirked. Obviously, Taehyun was the most popular guy so everyone agreed with him.

"See? It's not only me who saw you!”

Taehyun spoke while Chaeryeong sat on her seat ignoring him.

After two periods, the bell rang and most of the students left the classroom for canteen while some were chatting and Taehyun was one of them.

"Hey, why did you do that?!"

Dahye enquired Taehyun while he groaned.

"Please! Don't defend that loser!"

He said in annoyance.

"Why wouldn't I defend her?!"

Dahye spoke and Taehyun got up and started walking away while Dahye followed him.

"Why didn't she defend Chaeryeong when she was being enquired by the professor?"

A guy wondered as he followed Taehyun making everyone else there shocked because they didn't think about that.

Dahye and Taehyun went to the canteen. She saw Chaeryeong and Yuna sitting there. And she dragged Taehyun to their seats.

"Hi Chaeryeong and Yuna!"

Dahye greeted them while Taehyun just made a weird face at Chaeryeong.

Chaeryeong noticed him and made even more weird face, Taehyun felt that he was losing so he again made weird face and it didn't take much time for it to turn into a 'weird face competition'.

Yuna and Dahye looked at them dumbfounded.

"Ch-chaeryeong?"

Yuna said to which Chaeryeong stopped making weird faces and Taehyun looked at her proudly as if he won.

"I'm so sorry Chaeryeong, Taehyun won't do anything like this again."

Dahye spoke and Taehyun yawned intentionally, showing he's not interested.

Chaeryeong nodded and Dahye smiled and went away again dragging Taehyun. Suddenly, someone came in canteen and Yuna's face lit up.

"What's with that face?"

Chaeryeong looked at her pretending to be scared, obviously teasing her.

"Let me guess, it's Kai! Where's he?"

Chaeryeong said and started to search for Kai.

Yuna, on the other hand was nervous because of how Chaeryeong was acting.

"Why are you acting like that?!"

Yuna yelled at Chaeryeong in a lower voice.

"Found him!"

Chaeryeong shouted while pointing at Kai to which everyone started looking at her making Yuna embarrassed. She facepalmed herself and hid her face when everyone was looking at Chaeryeong. Soon Chaeryeong realised that everyone was looking at her including Kai so she bowed at him but he just chuckled.

Everyone started laughing after a hot minute of silence, Chaeryeong smiled nervously.

"Now let's go before we become meme material for the whole college!"

Yuna said who was under the table.

Chaeryeong got up from her seat still smiling and Yuna was trying to cover her face as she didn't want to be embarrassed in front of Kai.

Kai chuckled as he watched both of them going but didn't know someone else had also the same reaction watching them go.

Yuna lightly punched on Chaeryeong's arm and Chaeryeong whined.

"What was that for?!"

Chaeryeong said.

"You don't know? Lee Chaeryeong, why would you do that? He'll think that I'm some sort of creep!"

Yuna fake cried and Chaeryeong looked at her acting.

"Gosh, this is so embarrassing!!!"

Yuna again spoke.

"Just chill! We can't have these moments again, besides it's also our last year of college, and we just have a month before we all graduate."

Chaeryeong spoke getting a little emotional.

"So what? You'll still remain my bestest friend!"

Yuna cheered her up.

"I'll miss this life so much. And maybe in future I even won't have the time to recall these memories and laugh."

Chaeryeong spoke again which made Yuna realise that Chaeryeong is the heiress of her dad's company and she would soon take over the company. Yuna saw the atmosphere getting too sad so she tried to cheer Chaeryeong up.

"Don't worry, We have one freaking month!"

Yuna said cheerfully.

"By the way, just think what Kai would be thinking of you."

Chaeryeong spoke to which Yuna again switched to her drama mode.

She again started acting to which Chaeryeong started laughing, not knowing someone was watching them from a distance.

"You don't know but your smile really makes me happy."
