(Y/n POV)

"What is it?" I looked at her, slightly nervous for what she has to say, "were you jealous of Yeji and I?"

She nodded slowly as she spoke, "yeah I was.." Chaeryeong looked down to the floor, "I don't know why I was. I didn't like how close you were with her.." Chaeryeong spoke quietly.

"Y-y/n, I'm sorr--"

"You don't need to apologise Chaery," I tilt her head up to look at me, "you have nothing to apologise for."

She nods slowly before I speak again, "so tell me, why did you get jealous hm?" I tease her.

Chaeryeong widens her eyes and shakes her head, "that's nothing you need to know about." She says quickly.

"And why is that?" I raise an eyebrow.

"I have my reasons Y/n." She pauses for a while, "but can you just only pay attention to me from now?" Chaeryeong steps closer to me.

"You want me to treat you like I used to?" I tilt my head and she nods in response.

"As you wish my love." I stare at her briefly before opening the practice door and walking in.

I glance back at Chaeryeong to see her cheeks and ears bright red, "w-what did you just call me?"

"Nothing my love." I smile at her and her eyes widen as she freezes in her position by the door.

"Come on Chaery the food might get--"

"It's here!!!" Yuna shouts loudly.

I put the food down in front of the girls as Chaeryeong trails behind me ever so slowly.

"Kang Y/n~" she calls me and I reluctantly turn to face her as I sit down.

She sits in front of me and holds my hands, "did you actually mean it when you called me that.."

I smirk at her, "call you what?."

Chaeryeong rolls her eyes at me and she huffs, "you know what you did.'

"What did I do this time?" I raise my eyebrows pretending to be confused.

"You--"

"You two lovebirds, stop flirting and just eat." Ryujin scolds us, "seeing you flirt like that makes me sick." She fake gags.

"We're not even together but--"

"Eat." Ryujin cuts Chaeryeong off once again making her pout.

"I'm guessing you both are on good terms now?" Yuna asks Chaeryeong and I.

"Hm? Did they fight or something?" Lia looks between us.

"Briefly. They weren't speaking to eachother, but it doesn't seem like that anymore." Yuna replies.

"It wasn't me who started it, Chaeryeong just started to ignore me." I defend myself.

"I had my reasons, but I'm not sharing." She looked at me.

"Whatever, just as long as you don't do that again." I sigh, "I was thinking for the whole day what I did wrong."

"See unnie, that's exactly what I said would happen." Yuna looked towards Chaeryeong.

"I know I know.." Chaeryeong replies, "but Y/n and I have made up now so we're okay, right?" Chaeryeong holds my hand.

"And what if I said no?" I ask.

"Then you would be lying." Chaeryeong smiles.

"But I don't lie?" I laugh, earning a hit from Chaeryeong on my arm, "ouch.. It's true though?"

"Whatever you say." She rolls her eyes.

(Author POV)

After finishing the food the girls were supposed to be practicing but they wanted to spend time talking to Y/n.

Lia and Yeji had already grown close to Y/n despite only knowing each other for just a few hours.

Time had passed by much quicker than usual for the girls as they had been enjoying their time getting to know you better as a person. It was a chance for everyone to be more open about themselves which only made your friendship with the Itzy girls stronger.

You were in the middle of listening to Yunas story of her sitting on a beehive when your phone started to ring.

You glanced down to see your sister calling with her name displayed on the screen as '🐻 seulgi unnie 🐻'.

Before you could even pick it up and answer, her name disappeared as she stopped ringing.

"Who was that?" Lia asked.

"Ah just my sister, I think she's checking up on me." You replied, you knew why she was calling. You had completely lost track of time as it was now 10pm. Although it was a friday, you'd usually be home by then.

Not even a minute after her name appeared on the screen again.

"Oh? Seulgi unnie?" Yeji furrowed her eyebrows, "like the Red Velvet Seulgi." She laughed in which you nodded in reply.

"Wait seriously?" Yeji and Lia said at the same time.

"Yeah? Did they not tell you?" You asked and the two girls shook their heads.

"I was saying it as a joke, but you're really sisters with her?" Yeji widened her eyes.

"Yes I am related to the great Kang Seulgi." You replied sarcastically.

"That's so cool." Yeji smiled in admiration.

As you were just about to answer your sister her name disappeared again, this time you decided to call her.

Pressing on her number, it didn't take long for her to answer, in fact she answered in an instant.

"Yah Kang Y/n!!" You hear her shout across the phone, "do you know how many times I've tried to call you?"

"Only twice unnie.." You replied slowly.

"And twice is more than enough!" She sighed.

"Okay okay I'm sorry.." You apologised before she spoke again.

"I'm already on my way there because I got worried about you." Seulgi said firmly.

"You were worried about me? Unnie how nice of you~" you teased her.

She scoffed, "you're really pushing it today aren't you?"

"Okay see you later unnie!!" You teased her once more.

"Yah Y/n don't hang up on m--" they were the last words you said before hanging up and putting down your phone.

"Y/n you're gonna be dead when you see her." Ryujin laughed.

"I know and I doubt I'll be back alive." You said as your phone started to ring again, she was calling you once more

"Yeah, you're definitely in trouble." Ryujin laughed again.

"You don't think I know that already?" You quickly got your things together while you also helped the girls tidy up the mess from the food you ate.

You were saying goodbye to the girls when the practice room door opened abruptly.

You turned around to see your sister and Nayeon by the door. You've met Nayeon a few times as she's close friends with the Red Velvet girls.

"You. Get over here." Your sister beckoned you over.

"Unnie just give me a second I--"

"Y/n." Seulgi glared at you and in an instant you obeyed, walking over to her and standing next to her.

The Itzy girls laughed at your odd behaviour, they had never seen you act like that ever before.

"Unnie you're embarrassing me.." You said quietly but loudly enough for Nayeon to hear somehow making her laugh.

Seulgi looked at you in disbelief, "Y/n as much as I love you, you're too much to handle sometimes." She sighs.

"Y/n, you're really lucky to have a sister like Seulgi, you know that." Nayeon chuckles.

"I know I am and I'm grateful I have the amazing wonderful beautiful Kang Seulgi as my sister." You exaggerated making everyone laugh.

"That's it." Seulgi grabbed your arm, "I'm sorry for the disturbance girls and also sorry that we first met as I tell off my sister." She started to pull you out the room as the Itzy girls and Nayeon waved goodbye as you disappeared into the elevator.
