"Oh, hi, y/n," Lia grinned as she opened the door, the rest of the girls excluding Chaeryeong standing behind her. "I assume you're here for your girl?"
Chaeryeong put her phone down as soon as she heard Lia say your name, her smile so big it almost hurt.
"Of course!" You grinned.
"We were just going for a walk and maybe to pick up some coffee, so we can all get a little extra energy to continue recording for the day. Do you want us to get you anything?" Yeji asked.
"Sure. My-"
"Your favorite. We know." Ryujin spoke, playfully rolling her eyes before giggling.
With all the times they've hung out with you and Chaeryeong insisted that she get your favorite drink sometime throughout that time, they know your favorite by heart now.
"Thank you."
They all gave you a quick hug before heading out the door.
"We'll be back in a few minutes."
The door closed and Chaeryeong opened her arms, wordlessly telling you to come to her.
"Hi, sweet girl." Chaeryeong smiled as she put her arms around you and pulled you onto her lap when you were close enough.
"Hi, baby."
"I didn't expect you to come and see me today. A very nice surprise."
"I missed you." You said as you put your hands on her shoulder. "I had to come see you."
"I'm happy you're here." She said before kissing your lips.
"What do you have to do while they're gone?"
"Absolutely nothing, baby girl," Chaeryeong smirked. "Nothing except hold and kiss you."
You surely loved the sound of that.
Looping your arms around her neck, you put your lips back on hers and gave her a sweet kiss.

But that sweet kiss turned steamy and passionate pretty quickly as she tightened her arms around you, a soft sigh falling from your lips.
"Do we have a lot of time?"
"I don't know." She said in the middle of a feverish kiss. "Forget them. It's just us right now. All I want to do is kiss you."
You were more than okay with that.
She slipped her fingers beneath your shirt and began to caress your skin as she pulled away from the kiss, needing to kiss your neck.
You put your head back and closed your eyes as she did so, quickly melting over her touch and her kisses.
When she kissed that spot on your neck, your breath hitched and you suddenly moved your fingers from her neck and into her hair, your head in the clouds due to the bliss you felt.
Her name slipped from your lips in a soft sigh and she felt her heart begin to race against her chest, the need to kiss your lips again flooding over her.
"I love you so much." You said as she began to play with the strings of your swears, deciding on if she should untie them or not, and deepen this make out a little more.
"I love you more." She whispered and then her breath hitched as you pulled away to kiss her jaw.
She threw her head back and began to smile a little, only to stop and for her eyes to open wide upon hearing the door to the studio open.
"Whoa, okay," Yeji said as she covered her eyes. "Well, we were going to ask what you did while we were gone but guess we already know."
You and Chaeryeong just giggled and shared a few pecks.

"You're cute together." Yuna smiled as she sipped on her drink while Ryujin carried your drink, as well as Chaeryeong's, over to you both.
"So cute that it makes me sick," Lia mumbled, causing you all to laugh.
"Maybe give us a little warning next time. It seemed that Chaeryeong was ready to pull at your clothes." Yeji said.
"You could've knocked," Chaeryeong said.
"You could've told us not to come in or to give you a moment when we started to open the door but you were too busy sucking each other's faces off for that!" Yeji teased, causing you all to laugh again as Chaeryeong continued to hold you close.

The Last Science [SE]
[SE has the same content as the original story, split into smaller chunks for easier reading. This story is on a temporary hiatus due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. I work in healthcare and unfortunately no longer have the freetime to continue posting on a regular basis. As soon as our workload decreases, I will return. Thanks for reading! 💙] No one ever knows the whole story. Deep in the forests of the Pacific Northwest, the fading town of Rallsburg stumbles upon an amazing discovery—magic itself. Faced with potentially world-shattering power, the people of Rallsburg keep the secret for themselves. Led by Rachel DuValle, a perpetually underestimated college student with grand ambitions, they seek to found a new society. The world beyond suspects nothing, but magic cannot stay hidden forever. A train arrives in Rallsburg carrying Alden Bensen, a directionless high school graduate. To him, magic could represent meaning for his life, an explanation for his empty existence. This potent force offers anyone the power to change humanity forever—or send it cascading into swift and total annihilation. The Last Science is an ongoing science-fiction / low-fantasy web novel series, focused on the modern world with a twist. New societies bud and grow, but the people who make them up are imperfect and flawed. The story includes elements of mystery, action, crime, interpersonal drama, relationships, philosophy, sociology, politics, and much more, all centered on the perspective characters driving the tale. This is the "Scraps Edition" of the story, where the chapters have been split up into bite-size chunks (roughly 1500-3000 words), for your convenience. The prose has been edited from its original form, with some improvements, but there are no content differences from the original. New chapters will be posted throughout each week starting on Friday and appearing on multiple days thereafter, depending on the length of the chapter. Content Warning (by request): This series delves into some topics and situations which may be upsetting for some readers. In American rating parlance, the narrative would be rated PG-13 (except for language), but some have noted the story can get pretty dark on occasion. Please use your best judgment, and don't be afraid to take breaks and come back later. I'll still be here! [Discord] - come hang out and chat! Beyond the Bridge
There are many worlds, many multiverses, and you can move between them via the Federation's Bridge network - magical gateways to other worlds. The world dubbed "C'thon" by its inhabitants - or Gamma-Theta-Nu-649, if you ask the Federation's bureaucracy - was deserted when the Federation found it. The "civilized" races had all died out centuries prior, and the wilderness had grown downright feral in their absence. Now, the lonely Federation outpost of Bridgetown is under constant threat from the hungry wildlife, malicious fey, territorial goblins, and wandering undead that surround it. The town's distance from the Federation's centers of power means that it gets precious few of the resources that it needs to stay safe and afloat. Enter the Guild of Adventurers, a plucky and disparate crew who do the Federation's dirty work in exchange for coin. One team, the first of many, crosses the Bridge to C'thon looking for fame, fortune, and (if they're lucky) the answer to a newly-discovered Prophecy. They'll get much more than they bargained for, although first they need to avoid being eaten by the local wildlife. Updates weekly on Wednesday. Chapters will be as long as they need to be for them to work, which means they can vary. If anything drops below 2500 words, I'll post an extra chapter if I have one ready. [PS: This is not a litRPG, but I do borrow heavily from TTRPGs for inspiration, and the general setting and storyline is from a TTRPG campaign I'm running.] [PPS: This is my first attempt at writing long-form fiction. I'm not trying to make a great piece of literature or have a multi-novel overarching plot, but hopefully it'll still be a fun story - let me know what you think in the comments.] [PPPS: Cover image is from a free-download wallpaper by Tyler Edlin; I do not own it, and will take it down immediately if requested.]
