《Innocent or Dirty?》Day Two #18

"Okay class! Since yesterday we were in the gym practicing for the end of the year presentation, today we will speak about our talents and how they will play part in the performance. Now, if you guys don't want to talk about this I can put an old video educating you guys on music and notes?"
The class booed causing Yoongi to laugh and smile.
"Then it's settled! Let's start with our favourite foreign student, Casey!"
She giggles, "I'm the only foreign student in your class Mr Min."
She continues, "Anyways, I'm an art student. So I'll be in charge of background, lights, camera and the costumes... obviously I'll be part of the team~ I can't do all this on my own."
Mr Min smiles and points to the next person, "Chaerin your turn."
"So I'm part of the dance team. I'll be one of the back up dancers. That's all really. I'm not important. Oh yeah! I'll also try to help with the decorations."
Mr Min nods and smiles. He looks at the next student, his smile slightly fading.
"Urm, Minho your turn if you will."
Minho smirks with pride and vegans to rant about himself and how important his role is in the performance. He went on talking for five minutes until Yoongi finally interrupted him.
"Hahaha. Yes that's great. Next person please. And please don't take five minutes to answer, we have 26 more kids to go through."
Then they continued. There were a few artist and vocals but, most of them were backup dancers and prop helpers. They've finally gone through 27 students and on to the last one, Jimin.
"Okay then we're onto our last student. Jimin. Would you please say what you're doing in the performance?"
Jimin nods subtlety and stands up. He looks around the classroom slightly nervous and starts speaking once he saw Yoongi's small smile, calmed him down a bit.

"W-well, I'm going to be one of the main d-dancers and vocals b-but I'll also help out on th-the outfits and music."
Yoongi's smile widens.
"That's lovely. Okay class good job, now we know who does what and we can help each other. Hopefully you guys were already helping each other anyways."
The class looks at each other not knowing how to responds.
"I see." Yoongi sighs.
"Anyways, we still have 40 minutes left in class..... how about we touch up on the piano and how to read music notes? Yep, that sounds nice . Everyone please take out your notebooks."
Yoongi looks at the whole class complain except for one person, his little angel. Jimin, instead of complaining, was smiling and happily taking out his notebook out of his bag. Yoongi internally coos at the younger, taking in his adorableness before taking out his teaching jornal.
"Okay let's start. Can someone tell me how many keys does a full acoustic piano have?"
The whole class stayed silent staring at one another. Some whispered here and there but they all went silent when someone put their hand up. Minho.
"Minho please speak."
"The answer is 21..."
"Incorrect. Please stop using dead memes."
Everyone laughs until suddenly someone else raises their hand, Jimin.
"Jimin? What's the answer?"
"It's 88. 52 white and 36 black."
Yoongi smirks and nods.
"May I know how you learned that?" Mr Min asks.
Jimin starts remembering how he learned a bit about pianos.
"Hey. Hyung?"
"Yes Baby?" Yoongi pulls Jimin closer into his chest as the movie Tangled plays in the background.
"Did you love anyone else before me?"
Yoongi was taken aback from the question but answered nonetheless.
"Yes. Why do you ask?"
Jimin stiffened a little when Yoongi answered.

"Nothing. It just randomly popped in my mind."
"Don't worry Minnie. Out of all the people I loved you're the best one and the one I love the most."
Jimin giggles, "Who did you first love?"
Yoongi smiles at the memory, "It was actually my piano."
Jimin was not expecting this answer.
"How though?"
"I have no idea. But it really comforted me during some tough times I had when I was your age. Plus the keys are so slick and smooth. If you take care of them they'll always stay shiny. I remember cleaning and tuning my piano. I cleaned all 88 of the keys. But for 52 white keys I cleaned differently than the 36 black keys."
"Wow. You seem passionate talking about the piano. But you're so silly. Hyung how can you love a piano."
"Again, I don't know. Just know this, I've found something else to be passionate for..... and it's you.
Jimin smiles and responds. "Someone special told me."
"Ooohs~" were heard all around the classroom causing Jimin to blush.
"Alright class quiet down."
Yoongi goes back to the lesson. He realizes that Jimin has become more active in school activities.
"Okay class! There are five minutes left in class before lunch. I have one final question. How many keys are on a regular electric keyboard?"
Minho raised his hand. Yoongi rolled his eyes and pointed at him.
"Yes... Minho?"
"The answer is 61."
Surprisingly, Minho got the answer right. He wasn't messing around with dead memes.
"Correct good job Minho. Now, class pack up your stuff and get ready for lunch and your next class. That's all."
Right when Yoongi stopped speaking, the bell rung.
"Alright. Bye class. See you tomorrow!"
Everyone left the class except for Jimin. He closed the doors and walked over to the teacher's desk.
"Hyung~ did anyone ask you about the mark on your neck?"
"Yes actually. Namjoon did and Jin. I just told them you love me too much."
Jimin giggles.
"Can I um, sit on your lap?"
"Of course. You don't have to ask."
Jimin smiles and proceeds to sit on Yoongi's lap.
"Baby~. I'm so proud of you today. You participated so much. And you spent time with the class."
"I know~ I've been a good boy."
Yoongi laughs and hugs Jimin, "Yes you have. Now then, you should go have lunch with your friends."
Jimin shakes his head on Yoongi's shoulder.
"Nooooo~ I want to stay here with you~"
"But baby, your friends are going to come here-"
*click*
A shutter sound was heard making Yoongi's head look at the door. It was slightly open but not enough for someone to come in.
"Hyung? What was that? Did someone take a picture?"
"Umm. To be honest I'm not sure. But don't worry about that now. The door is still closed so it's okay. You should probably go with your friends and eat."
"But Hyung~ I want to stay here with you~"
"Jimin Baby, I need to grade some work I have here. Unless you want to help me look through it?"
Jimin shakes his head again, "No thanks. I think I'll go to the lunch room with TaeTae."
"That's what I thought. Now go on. You have limited time."
"Okay~" Jimin gets off Yoongi's lap and gives him a peck on the lips.
As Jimin turns around to leave Yoongi smacks his ass causing him to jump.
"Eek! Don't do that I'll tell TaeTae." Jimin walks away from Yoongi's desk and to the door.
Yoongi chuckles, "Alright. Bye~ see ya."
"Luv you too Hyung."

Recruit - An Infinite Labyrinth prequel
A prequel to The Infinite Labyrinth. The year is 1816. The British Empire is in full swing, under the auspices of King George III. The Infinite Labyrinth has been pouring out its product from beyond our reality and fostered a new industrial revolution. Times are changing, and the people of London are feeling the winds of the revolution while British Professionals push into the Labyrinth. The newly formed Artefact Hunting Company is looking for recruits, and they have new technology to help them. From the slums of London, they aim to recruit a new wave of Professionals. And make Zacharias and the Earl of Carnavon lots of money. So, for Rowan Rivers and a handful of lucky ones, it's time to head into the Labyrinth, and discover what makes it different from England. And what makes THEM different? Recruit is a bunch of chapters I wrote to create to the setting, mood, and game systems of the Infinite Labyrinth. It is NOT a complete story in the classic sense. It's more of a slice of life view of early days of a normal Professional from the Infinite Labyrinth, and it's heavy on info-dump. It's 90% canon - there's probably a bit of a difference between how some characters and common behaviour are portrayed here and how they'll come out in the main story. Set two years before the events that kick-start the main series, it features some of the secondary/peripheral characters of the Infinite Labyrinth and will tell you all about the basic mechanics of the Labyrinth's RPG system. It can be considered a spoiler, as the characters in the Infinite Labyrinth are going to need to figure out all that, on their own. But if you like a much deeper exposition in the mechanics, here it is. The entire prequel is about 80 pages long.
