She sat on the chair in the cafe and waited for him to arrive. She called him last night telling that she wanted to meet him today and he agreed.
Aera chose to meet at the cafe because whenever she felt like her brain wouldn't give her any time to rest, she'll always go to the cafe that was stationed just a few metres from Jimin's place. After all, the cafe she went was Taehyung's favourite place. She always went there with Taehyung after work, before she met Jimin.
As all of you know, Aera and Taehyung are close. They hang out together quite often but they started to distancing themselves since she already has a fiance and will get married soon.
Without her realization, it started raining. The rain started to pour to the ground little by little till it starts to get heavy. Aera loves to listen to the raining sound since she found it was relaxing and good for herself. It was calming.
While she was busy admiring the rain, Jungkook arrived at the cafe with an umbrella in his hand. Once he closed the umbrella, he turned his head to left and right just to find where Aera was. Just in a blink, he spotted Aera who was enjoying the rain with her eyes shut closed.
He smiled and mumbled. "There she is "
Casually, he put his umbrella to the side and walked to the table where Aera was sitting. He poked her shoulder gently to give her sign that he was there. Aera opened her eyes slowly and raised her eyebrow when she realized that Jungkook was already in front of her.
"How long have you been there? I'm sorry. I was focusing on the raining sound that I didn't notice your arrival " she let out a small chuckle.
Jungkook shook his head, showing that he was alright. "It's okay. I just arrived here for a few minutes " he stated and Aera nodded her head slowly.
"So you're the type who love nature, isn't? " Jungkook asked to make a conversation so that Aera won't feel awkward around him. He wanted her to get comfortable.
"Yes. I enjoy nature so much, it gives me chill everytime I have problems or going through a hard times " Aera answered as she sipped on her hot americano. Jungkook nodded as response.
"So, can I know why you invited me here? It's all of the sudden. I bet there must be a reason, right? " Jungkook asked straight to the point since he noticed that Aera had a frowning face as if she was thinking about how to start.

After putting her cup down, she spreaded her arms and shrugged her shoulders. "I don't how to start though. It's quite complicated to tell. But I need to tell you. " she sighed.
Her face looked weak and quite pale. She seemed like she was keeping something to herself. But she can't keep it alone so she needed someone to talk to.
Jungkook looked at her fingers that was tapping the table.
He smiled, "You know you can trust me, right? I won't tell anyone. I promise "
After a moment, he finally earned her trust. She still hesitate to share the story with him. But she felt that he won't betray her so she opened her mouth and began to talk.
"What?! You serious?! " Jungkook asked as he can't believe what Aera just said. Every words was hard for him.
"So, did he hurt you? " he asked and Aera hurriedly hid her wrist from Jungkook's sight. She didn't want him to tell Jimin about it because she knows Jimin will feel bad. Or maybe he won't even care.
She gulped and bit her lips in nervousness, hoping that Jungkook didn't notice her bruises. "No. He didn't do anything to me. You know him, right? He won't hurt people " Aera said
Jungkook sighed in relief and nodded his head. "Okay then. Thank you for telling me this. At least I know how he's doing. I haven't meet him in a week " he stated and pouted a bit.
"What's the reason? You always come and visit us. Did you argue with him? " Aera asked in curiosity. She loves everytime Jungkook comes to their house because she can finally hear Jimin talk like a normal person. He didn't talk much with her. But he does when he's with Jungkook.
Jungkook on the other hand didn't want Aera to know the truth that was spilled. "Yes. I had a small argument with him last week. But don't worry, we'll get better soon" he said, not wanting to make Aera worried. Even he, himself didn't know whether he could talk to Jimin again after he knows the truth. He was disappointed that Jimin didn't tell him about his past. It was heartbreaking for him.
"I really hope you guys would fix it. You're friends since high school so I don't want to see your friendship destroys just because of a small thing " Aera said and Jungkook just gave her a small smile. Just to make sure she didn't feel bad.
"Okay then. I think I need to get going now. Thank you for spending your time listening to my story. I appreciate it a lot. " Aera said with a smile.

"My pleasure. Do you need a ride home? I would love to send you " Jungkook offered her a ride but she rejected it politely by saying that she needed to go somewhere else.
"Okay then. See you later. Take care " Jungkook waved to her and they walked out from the small cafe. Actually, Aera wanted to go to the park nearby to sip some fresh air.
And she wanted to be alone.
The rain had stop and the rainbow started to show off itself. The beauty of the rainbow colors was so good and calming. Aera loves it so much.
The smell that was left by the rains was so relaxing and open minding. It sends chill to everyone.
As on her way to the park, she noticed that the road was started to filled by many people since it was already in the noon. Some people were back from work and some of them was walking out from the church. Since it was a nice noon, the park was full with people.
They wanted to enjoy the fresh air as well. Aera's sight was blessed with kids that were playing at the playground. She was blessed with their joyful laughter. Some of them were running, chasing to each other. Just by watching them was enough to make her feel better.
As she was busy with her thoughts, she suddenly felt that the weather was too cold for her. "Maybe another cup of hot coffee would help " she mumbled to herself and walked to any coffee shop that was nearby her.
But since she was drowned in her own thoughts, she didn't focus on where she was walking. What she knew was; she was walking.
She tucked her hands into the pockets and walked her steps to the street. Her feet carefully stepping on the road as the rain smell echoing in her nose. A smile crept on her face as she saw a coffee shop across the street. She can't wait to drink the coffee.
But in a blink of eyes, she saw a light was coming to her. It was very fast. She thought it was just a light but it wasn't. It was a car that was speeding towards her. She gasped and shut her eyes closed and everything went dark just like the sky above her.
She thought it was the ending of her life. Death would be the perfect word to describe about what she was thinking.
Am I dead? she asked herself.
But she was wrong. It wasn't her ending yet. She isn't dead.
A strong arm hurriedly wrapped around her and pulled her to the side of the road. Both of them fell on the hard ground. But Aera didn't have a serious injury since she fell on the person who saved her.
She still had her eyes closed since her brain still couldn't process about what just happened. Until she heard someone talking to her.
"Are you crazy? You crossed the road without even looking! Did you wish to die, huh? " the person scolded her due to her careless behavior. But then, the person stopped talking and held her head to make she looked at him.
"Aera? Is that you? " Taehyung asked in. shocked. He was surprised that the person he just saved was Aera. He really thought that she was just a random girl who crossed the street without even looking.
Aera opened her eyes slowly and saw Taehyung. Her ears that were filled with laughter now is just quiet. She didn't focus to anything that was happening because she was still shocked.
Taehyung shook his head. "Why'd you do that?! Did you want to kill yourself? Do you know how you almost die just now? You almost die! " he said, pressing the almost word.
Aera just looked at him, trying her best to not bursting into tears. Well, who wouldn't when they found out that they almost dead? Her head started to imagine if Taehyung wasn't there and—
She'll definitely was hit by the car and ended up being in the hospital. But it's only if she's lucky. If she had no luck, she'll probably die at this moment. Without her knowing, she was already crying in Taehyung's embrace. She hugged him tightly and cried everything that she was feeling on his chest.
She cried so badly that Taehyung can feel his shirt started to get wet. But he just let her cry.
"Shhh, I know how you're feeling right now. I'm sorry for scolding you. I didn't mean it like that. I just wanted to make sure you're safe. " he said softly while rubbing her back. Everyone was looking at them but Taehyung didn't care about that. What's important to him was Aera.
He glad that he arrived at the spot on time. Or else, he would lost her.
"It's okay to cry. You'll feel better soon. Just cry and let everything that's bothering you out. It's alright "
