《World || P.J.M ✔️》18

I informed my manager that I couldn't get into work today. I decided to spend the whole day resting.
After I make sure everything was fine, I ended the call and turned on the television. But what I saw on the television absolutely ruined my mood.
My dad
"Our beloved President, Park Junghwan visited the Orphanage today. He also gave them a speech about love and some money" the reporter said.
I turned off the television and threw the remote away. How plastic he was. He talked about love? What a shit. He, himself didn't know what love is and he wanted to talk about it?
He acted like he cares about the orphans but I know he doesn't. He neglected me when I was a kid. He didn't deserve to talk about love. He can't even care about his own child. Pft, he just pretended to be nice. Disgusting.
I'm so tired of seeing fake people nowadays. They're too plastic. I ruffled my hair and went into my second room.
I hadn't enter this room for a while now. I was too busy with reality that I forgot to spend some time for myself.
I went to a big shelf of mine and picked a big album. I have so many photos keep in it. I have many albums but this one is my most favourite so I keep it in my private room. I don't want people to see it except me.
I blew the cover and started to open the page. Once I saw my mom's picture, a smile crept on my face. She looked so beautiful like she always did.
I missed her so much. More than everything.
I sighed and opened the next page. The next photo I was seeing was my favourite. There was a pic of me and a girl who was holding my cat, Orchid. I smiled at my sight.
But when I looked down at the next photo, my smile faded right away. It was a pic of my family, including my dad. He was carrying me while holding my mom's hand. We were at the park. What's funny there was he had no smile on his face.
Even he had both his son and wife by his side, he still didn't tend to smile. Such an ungrateful person.
I felt anger started boiling in my head. I closed the album and put it on the table. I was supposed to cut his picture out from the album. But I didn't because I don't want to destroy my mom's photo.

I sighed and walked out from the room.
The memories I had with her— they were still fresh in my memories. But why can't I remember her?
where are you?
"Jimin! Jimin where are—" Jungkook stopped when he finally saw him. He ran towards him and took the wine bottle away from him.
"Stop it! You can't drink this shit! " He yelled at Jimin. He didn't expect to see him in this condition. His eyes were red and he looked very unhealthy.
"You just got out from hospital and now you're drinking? You're insane Jimin! " he shook his head as he threw the bottle away. Jimin looked at Jungkook with his half opened eyes and laughed.
"I'm not insane, Jungkook. I'm crazy " he laughed again.
"The Jimin I know hates drinking. But what are you doing now? You look worst than before. " Jungkook scoffed.
"I told you before, Jungkook. People change. Sometimes, they change for no reason " he said as his hand was searching for the wine.
"Where's my wine?! " he yelled in frustration. He hit the table, "Give me one more bottle! " he yelled.
"Jimin stop! " Jungkook yelled as he hit the table hardly. Everyone in the bar turned to them. "What make you start drinking? You used to hate it! It must be a reason " he said as he gripped on Jimin's wrist.
"Tell me why " Jungkook begged.
Jimin's face started to heat up and the bitter taste of the alcohol started to fill up. He coughed and held Jungkook's shoulder. "The reason I start drinking is.. "
"This is the only way for me to remember all my memories with her. I feel so happy with her. But the feelings I'm feeling right now will disappear tomorrow when I'm not drunk . I love this feelings and I don't want it to disappear. I want to get drunk all my life so that I can feel happy like this forever " he started sobbing.
He felt sad all of the sudden. Jungkook sighed and hugged him. "I know you have went through a lot. You're so strong, Jimin. But getting drunk isn't the solution " he said softly while rubbing his back.
"I love her— but she's gone " he cried.
"It's okay, I promise I'll find her for you. I promise "
Aera came back home late today. Well, she's a fashion designer so she had to treat her new customer which is a VIP. Those people are too picky about designs.
Finally, she reached home.

She opened the door and shocked when she saw Jungkook there. "What are you doing here? " she asked.
Jungkook who was panicked, came to her. "Jimin.. He's drunk again " he said and Aera gasped. "What? Why? " she asked.
"I don't know, but he messed up with a guy at the bar earlier. He even crashed his car. So I need to take care of the trouble,, can you take care of him again? " Jungkook asked.
"Of course. Where's him? " Aera asked. "He's in his room. I'll go with Uncle Seon. So I'll leave both of you alone. Are you okay with that? " he asked to make sure everything was okay.
"It's okay, just go " Aera said.
Jungkook nodded and was about to head out from the house but he stopped. "Oh, forgot to tell you that he's having an emotional drunk. So be careful. He may get wild " he said
"I can handle it. Don't worry " Aera said and rushed to his room.
"Why can't I remember you?! " Jimin yelled as he threw the table aggressively. He was very mad but emotional at the same time.
He felt fear, hurt, scared and dying. He was haunted by emotions.
"What's wrong with my memory? " he asked while ruffling his hair. He tried to walk to his desk but he ended up falling on the floor.
Aera barged into his room and gasped when she saw him laying on the floor, crying. "Gosh! "
"Wake up Jimin! " she said as she tried to help him. He allowed her to do so and she put him on the bed.
"Look at your red face. You look so sick " she commented as she cupped his warm face. She was trying to comfort him.
Jimin's breathe got more stable and he opened his eyes. "Aera? " he asked with watery eyes.
"That's you " he said as he pulled her into a hug. "It's really you " he said, sniffling. Aera was very shocked when he suddenly hugged her. But she just let him to do what he wanted.
"Where did you go? I searched for you everywhere " he sobbed.
"I didn't go anywhere, Jimin. I'm always with you " she said. Jimin shook his head. "No. You lie. I saw you crossed the road. You want to leave me, weren't you? " he asked.
Aera didn't know anything about what he was talking. "It wasn't me, Jimin. You're saying this because you're drunk " she said as she slowly broke the hug.
"I'll cook you a soup, okay? It'll make you feel better " she said and helped Jimin to lay down on the bed.
"You're so warm when you're drunk " she mumbled and went down to the kitchen.
Aera was done making the soup for Jimin. So she wanted to bring it up for him. But before she could, she realized that Jimin was behind her.
He was standing beside the fridge while watching her.
"Oh, sorry. I didn't notice you were there " she said as she walked to him. "How are you feeling now? Better? " she asked as she put her palm on his forehead to know his temperature.
Before she could realize, her hand was already in Jimin's grip. He gripped on her wrist very tight.
"Aera " he called her name. Aera noticed that he wasn't sobbing anymore. But for sure, he's still drunk.
He stepped closer to her and placed his face right beside her ear.
His hot breath gently hit her bare skin. It makes she got a goosebumps. Gently, he kissed her neck.
"Jimin, what are you doing? " Aera asked. She wasn't comfortable with it but she secretly loves it.
She backed off, "You're too drunk Jimin. You gonna regret it tomorrow if you continue this ". But her words didn't stop him.
He took another step closer to her until her back hit the wall. She was trapped at the corner of the kitchen. She gulped and looked at him.
Jimin cupped Aera's face and licked his lips.
"Found you, Kim Aera " a smirk crept on his face.
He leaned closer to her face, shortening the gap between them. Their lips were slightly touched. Every seconds makes Aera got more nervous. But she didn't do anything.
Jimin moved his face more closer to her. He seemed like wanting to kiss her. But instead, he kissed her cheek.
He backed away and smirked in satisfaction. "Your cheeks— they're still soft like the old days. " he commented and chuckled bitterly.
"Did I scare you? I'm sorry if I do " he added and walked to the living room. But he still depended to the wall to walk because he still can't walk in a straight line.
Aera just watched him walking away and sighed deeply. She held her chest, "What was that? Why'd he do that? " she asked herself. Her brain still can't process about what just happened.
It felt like a dream to her.

The Dao of Magic
Here I am, sitting on a mountain so far away from civilisation it might as well be the godforsaken arse of the world, about to ascend. Can't wait to leave this crapfest of a planet... Seems like this entire cultivation world is a late stage capitalist money making machine for the powers that be in the higher realms, and me stealing the good loot in front of their descendants and sect disciples noses finally pissed them off enough to take action. First, they sent all the sect masters and hidden dao protectors to off me - which failed, obviously. Heh, afterwards they simply bitch slapped me out of their universe though. That is interesting and all, but I just woke up in a valley watching some critters murder each other while trying not to freak out about how bad it smells here.Soo… where the fuck am I? Purple Scales - A Reincarnation Story
Ssssssss...... A simple story of a man brought into a world of fantasy, magic, and systems by a crude God as some sort of a deal we may never know. Although.... he's a snake. Your typical honest-to-goodness brightly coloured danger noodle with venoms and all. To be precise, a magical snake with lots of growth potential. Follow the story of Randy, a pushover whose commands by God only being "survive, and grow big", on a journey to... well... survive and grow big, as he discovers what the world truly has to offer. Which is not much. Hopefully, not too much. A typical reincarnation story, really, but it might just satisfy your thirst for these kinds of stories. I'm just an amateur writer hobby-writing on my spare time, mostly for private consumption. This is also a practice on me developing gamelike-systems in literature. Will contain lots of swearing Any criticisms and feedback regarding storyline, language, and thematics are welcome. As this is a spare-time hobby, updates are not, will not, and will never be predictable. I will try my best, but don't get your hopes up. Inspired by a few other works on this site.
