"Omg " Aera gasped as she looked at the clock. She was damn worried because Jimin wasn't home yet. He went out this evening and didn't come home after that. "Is he fine? Or did he lost? " she asked while walking around the living room.
"Ugh, why he's not answering my calls?! " Aera groaned as she threw her phone on the couch.
"Jimin, where are you? " Aera sighed as she sat on the chair near her. She looked out the window and still, there was no sign of Jimin to come back. Aera actually didn't know why she felt so worried about Jimin. She felt like dying inside when she didn't see him.
With a heavy breathing, she held her chest and closed her eyes. "Why I'm feeling like this? I never felt like this. Even when my parents aren't home, I won't feel like what I'm feeling right now. " she said.
Suddenly, it started raining heavily outside. It make Aera more worried. What make it even more worse was, Uncle Seon wasn't home too. He had to attend something that Jimin told him to. But Aera didn't know what and where was the course he needed to attend.
She tried to dial Jimin's number one last time but still, failed. She sighed deeply and flinched at the thunderstorm sounds. She closed her eyes and prayed for Jimin's safety.
Aera was awaken by the car sound. She opened her eyes and hurriedly went to the main door. She opened the door and looked at the unfamiliar car. "It's not Jimin's car " she mumbled.
Then, a tall figure got out from the car. "Who are you? " Aera yelled since it was still raining. Jungkook stopped and turned to Aera. "I'm Jimin's friend! He's drunk and I help to bring him home " he yelled back as he opened the passenger door.
Aera looked into the car and gasped when she saw Jimin. He looked terrible and wet. "What happened to him?! " Aera yelled as she wore her sandals. Then, she ran towards Jungkook's car. Jungkook didn't park his car under the car porch. So they were automatically wet since it was raining.
Aera took an umbrella behind the flower vase and went to Jimin. "Can you carry him?" Aera asked, looking at Jimin who was totally collapsed.
"Yes but um, I need to do something to make he wake up a bit " Jungkook scratched his head. "Something like what? " Aera asked, didn't know about what Jungkook tried to say.
"It's kind of harsh. So can you turn around? I don't want you to watch it because it may humiliates him " Jungkook said awkwardly. Without thinking any further, Aera agreed and turned back. She closed her eyes and suddenly, she heard a slapping sounds.
"Okay, he's half awake now. Can you please open the door? " Jungkook asked, helping Jimin to stand up. Aera nodded and opened the door for them. Then, she went back to Jungkook and Jimin to cover them with the umbrella.

"You don't need to cover us. Just get into the house. You might catch a cold " Jungkook said but Aera refused. "It's okay, I'm fine. Don't worry " she said.
Then, they got into the house and Jungkook put Jimin on the couch. Aera took a glance at Jimin and spotted that his left cheek was red. "Did he slap him that hard? " Aera mumbled to herself.
Aera turned to Jungkook and wanted to thank him. But she stopped when Jungkook started talking. "I've booked a grab car and I want to take Jimin's car here. Can you take a look over him? " Jungkook asked
"Yes, sure " Aera answered and sent him to the door. "I'll be back in 30 minutes. " Jungkook said so that Aera won't lock the door. She nodded, "Okay, be careful. It's raining " she said and closed the door after Jungkook walked away.
Then, she sighed and turned back to Jimin. "Why did you drink, huh? " she asked as she sat beside Jimin. The alcohol smell was too strong that make Aera coughed. "How much did you drink? You smell so bad " she commented while rubbing her chest.
But seeing Jimin in that condition, make her felt sorry for him. He was wet and cold. So Aera scooted closer to him and brushed his hair back. Jimin's forehead looked so stunning at the moment.
"I thought cold hearted person like you don't drink. " she spoke while caressing his head. "It must be because you had been facing too much problems lately, right? That's why you're stressed "
"But getting drunk won't solve anything " Aera sighed.
"It'll just make everything worse. You can't get rid from your problems if you keep acting like this " she said. While she was busy cleaning up Jimin, he suddenly coughed.
"Hey, what's wrong? " Aera asked.
Jimin opened his eyelids a bit and desperately asked for water. "G-Give me w-water—" his voice was deep and husky. "Wait here, I'll get it for you " Aera ran to the kitchen as she hurriedly filled up the glass with water.
"Here, drink this " Aera said while helping Jimin to drink the water. She held the glass for him and he finished the water aggressively. Once he was done, he gasped for some air and lay back on the couch.
Aera put the glass away and asked "Are you okay? "
Jimin didn't reply to her question. Instead he just lay on the couch while breathing gently.
"I guess you need rest " Aera sighed. "But I can't let you sleep in a wet clothes. Your fever will get more worse " she said and went near Jimin. "I need to bring you to your room I think " she said as she took his arm and put it on her neck.
Gladly, Jimin allowed her to do so and he even tried to walk by himself. On their way to his room, Jimin suddenly asked a random question. "Were you worried about me? ". Aera looked at him and continued walking. "No, I'm just concern about you " she answered. But to be true, she was a bit nervous hearing his question.

Jimin laughed, "Concern? Isn't it means worried? "
"Think what you want, I'm just giving you a help " Aera scoffed and they finally reached Jimin's room, which is on the second floor. Aera leaded him to the bed and gestured him to lay down.
"A help? " he chuckled
"My mom once told me that people help us because they love us " he said as he rested his body on the bed.
"But when I grown up now, I realized that what she said was all wrong. " he said as his mood changed all of the sudden. "They help us because they see advantages they can get from us "
"Only the true ones will do it sincerely "
"But you.. " Jimin stopped and turned to Aera. She was standing at his closet while choosing a shirt for him. Even she was busy finding his clothes, she still focused on every words Jimin said. She turned back to him and waited for him to finish his sentence.
"Why do I see sincerity in your eyes? " he asked.
"We don't know each other. But why do you want to help me? Why? " He asked as he sat up on the bed. "Jimin, you should rest " Aera said as she walked to him.
"Allow me to unbutton your suit " Aera said. Well, she didn't want to do that but she needed to. She can't let Jimin catch a cold because he already did.
And wearing a wet clothes will make everything get worse. She was doubting at first but she tried her best. "Why? Scared? Just open the buttons " Jimin smirked.
She knows that it wasn't him because Jimin will never act like that. "I can't believe he gets this drunk " she muttered. She bet that Jimin will regret this tomorrow morning.
She held her breath and started unbuttoning his button one by one. Everything went well but it started getting more challenging when it comes to his abs. He has such a good body and it distracts Aera from focusing. They're too seductive to not look at to.
She gulped and cleared her throat. "It's okay Aera, he's your future husband so it has no harm to do this " she tried to calm herself down. When she was finally finished, she heaved a deep sigh of relief.
"Come on, wear the shirt for me. I'm shivering~" Jimin whined like a kid. "Yeah, please sit properly " Aera said as she slid down the shirt on his body.
"Phew " Aera sighed and sat beside Jimin once she was done. "You act differently when you're drunk " she said as she turned to Jimin.
Jimin had his back rested on the bed and his eyes were half opened. Maybe because he was sleepy. "You need rest. I'm going now " Aera said and walked to the door. "Sleep well " she said and turned off the lamp.
After helping Jimin to change his clothes, Aera went to the kitchen to take a glass of water. She was so thirsty.
Suddenly, Jungkook appeared in front of her. She choked a bit and Jungkook came to her. "Oops, did I make you startle? " he asked
"Yeah, you should approach me first. Don't do that, I might get heart attack " Aera frowned.
"Okay, I'm sorry then. I didn't mean it like that" Jungkook told her. When he saw Aera was fine, he made his way to the fridge and took a glass of orange juice. He's Jimin's best friend so Jimin's house is basically his house too.
Then, he sat beside Aera on the counter. "You must been asking who I am, right? I'm Jeon Jungkook. Jimin's best friend since highschool " he introduced himself.
"Oh, so you both are close? " Aera asked
"Of course, I told you we're best friends " Jungkook said spontaneously. He looked at Aera and noticed that she was sweating. "You look tired. Why? Did you help Jimin? " he asked.
"Yeah, I brought him to his room so he can rest " she answered. "Oh, did you change his clothes too? " Jungkook asked while taking another gulp of the juice. Aera was embarrassed to answer it so she just nodded.
"Everything is done. Don't worry "
"Btw, did you go to the bar with Jimin? " Aera asked, changing the topic. Jungkook set his glass down and wiped his mouth. "Oh yeah, he asked me to give him a company so I just followed him " he answered.
"If you went to the bar together, then why you're not drunk? " Aera asked and Jungkook found it funny. He chuckled, "I don't drink. " he answered.
"Oh " Aera nodded her head.
"But it doesn't mean I can't drink. I can. It's just I don't enjoy it like the others do. The taste doesn't match my taste " he added.
"That's good. It's hard to find guy who's not enjoying alcohol. Most of them think that it's cool " Aera said.
"Yeah "
"But Jimin.. " Aera looked back at Jungkook when he mentioned Jimin's name.
"He's not that type of guy who love drinking. I never saw him drinking before. Today is the first time he asked me to go to the bar. He once told me that he hates alcohol. " He continued.
"Then what make him suddenly feel to drink? " Aera asked as curiosity started hunting her.
"I don't know what was the reason. But he seems so stressed lately. He was a totally different person when I saw him started drinking the alcohol " Jungkook stated.
"But I'm sure there must be a reason behind this. And it must be something big. " Jungkook said and the moment when Jimin mentioned about a girl at the bar flashbacked on his mind.
"It's either his dad or the girl he mentioned before " Jungkook mumbled to himself.

Legendary Farmer (available on Kindle July 2022!)
NOTE: Legendary Farmer is now COMPLETE. The first book, Clearing, was released on Kindle Unlimited July 5, 2022 with significant edits. I will post the first chapter of Clearing, as well as three chapters of Cuckoo's Dream, another novel in the LF universe, as a stub, with a link to the first book, so if you love LF and want me to be able to keep writing consistently, please go give Clearing five stars! In the VRMMORPG, Veritas Online, things are getting a little stale. Since the game launched, only one world- wide event has occurred, and that was a year ago.. The players are still having fun, but everyone agrees it’s about time for something big to happen. Everybody tends to forget that big things grow from small things, and little things are always changing in Veritas. The human country of Quarternell is at peace for the first time in... ever. Aspen, a former war hero, feels like he’s earned a quiet life together with his animal companions. They’re tired of fighting, and other people in general. They plan to live peacefully, far away from the city. As soon as Aspen figures out this farming thing out, he’s never going to go anywhere again. Unfortunately for Aspen, his country and his goddess aren’t quite done with him yet.Rouge the Rogue is a casual gamer in Veritas Online. She’s just a kid, and her focus is supposed to be on school and hanging out with friends. Emphasis on ‘supposed to’. She’s already pretty good at the school thing, and she doesn’t actually have that many friends. What she really loves is exploring all the cool ways the developers of Veritas found to make their game unique and realistic. Then she’s offered a very special quest, and an opportunity to go beyond the average player. She’s never been that much of a rule follower anyway....Clearing is appropriate for most ages. It has minimal foul language, no sex, and some violence. It is LGBTQ+ friendly. (P.S. IMPORTANT! This book contains very mild profanity, no sex, and is meant to be FUN. Yes, the characters sometimes think Deep Thoughts, and idealism pretty much runs rampant, but, in the end, I hope you just enjoy reading it. Laugh, cry, share it with your kids, read it to your dog, whatever makes you happy. My goal is for it to be accessible to everyone from ages 12ish on up, so you could definitely consider it YA, but with lots of big words because I don't believe in talking down to my readers.) Book Two: Harrowing (Starts after the original Chapter Fifty, now Sixteen, since I condensed chapters from the same perspective together.) Zoey has started her summer internship at Veritas Corporation, and she can honestly say that being an adult is boring. Until she starts learning secrets she was never supposed to know. In game, Rouge is finally making progress on her big quest. Apparently Duke Penbrooke took too long to return to the world, so the world is coming to get him... in the form of a few assassins. Aspen is going to have to face the life he left behind, and deal with the fact that it's not as easy being 'dead' as he thought. When what he'd hoped would be a short trip back to civilization to resupply turns into a whole lot more, he'll have to fight for his life, his friends, and his kingdom. Book Three: Sowing Rouge and Aspen have reached Bright, only to find that their enemies were already expecting them. They will have to quickly unravel the mysteries of who their opponents actually are, because they're already ten steps behind. Rouge and Aspen are finally home, but that doesn't mean they can return to their peaceful days of farming. Their enemies are hot on their heels and determined to destroy everything they've managed to achieve. Join them and all their friends for the final volume of Legendary Farmer.

An eye that serves a purpose but nothing in exchange for his freedom. Will he remain as a tool of his adversary or escape from his own shackles of fate? This is a story of two old men trying to free from the shackle of their destiny set in a future only to await their impending doom. This is a story of a dead god, and of a storyteller, trying to break from the bonds of the past. And as their stories go, one of them will face the events that unfold in their distant past, as the other one will unveil its mystery predicted by its future. Is it a mistake to challenge fate, after all? *** The world-building is set upon on the universal scale, with dungeon and old-style fantasy. It has a progression that follows with the consistency of a dungeon setting, although it's not what you call a dungeon, but a function of a crystal. There's a lot to take in this novel, but that's all within my intention. I have always enjoyed challenging conventional ideas. The cover is not mine, it's just temporary.
