'I'm assuming the lasagne is good?' You raise your eyebrows at everyone gathered around the table stuffing their faces with your food. A response of nodding heads and 'mhmm' surrounds you and you can't help but shake your head and laugh.

'You not having any?' Steve frowns and you sigh. 'No. I still feel nauseous'

'The baby is developing at three times the normal rate' Bruce speaks up and everyone drops the cutlery down. Nat gasps 'YOU'RE PREGNANT?!'

'THREE TIMES?!' Bucky gawks.

Steve practically chokes on his mouthful of food. Making Tony pat him on his back hard.

'So...so I'm only going to be pregnant for three months?!' You ask in complete disbelief.

Bruce bites his lip nervously and you gulp. 'I...I mean, we don't even have a house or an income or...diapers. What about a name?! I think I'm gonna be sick again'

'Relax. We'll sort it' Tony immediately jumps up.

'I'll get a job Daisy' Steve now composes himself. Coming to your side and taking your hand. 'We'll figure it out'

'You always do' Bucky chips in. Trying to lighten the mood.

You try and force a smile but it falls flat.

'T-thanks guys...'

'EVERYONE! Listen up!' Nick fury streets into the room, takes one look at you and freezes.

'Daisy? You alright?'

'Shes knocked up' Nat shouts out, a beaming smile on her face.

Nick looks between you and Steve and Steve's face immediately changes to the colour of a tomato.

'That explains it...' Nick mumbles to himself.

'Explains what?' Bucky now asks intrigued and concerned.

'Hydra...they've put out a target out on you'

'I knew it...' Bucky immediately starts to tremble.

'Not you Sargeant Barnes. On her'

Fury points to you and you frown. 'Me?'

'Guessing they found out a baby soldier is on the way'

'How the hell would they find that out?' Steve immediately stands infront of you, looking around at all of the avengers.

'Relax Captain. You may not trust us but I trust my team. It wasn't them' Buck instantly pipes up.

'Actually...' Bruce wince's and Steve tenses.

'They could have hacked our system. I was doing research on the serum and it might have triggered them to investigate'

'You've put my fiancé and our unborn child at risk!' Steve roars and you tug on his arm, stepping back at his side. 'He's also HELPING us with the pregnancy'

Steve takes a deep breath. 'Sorry Dr Banner'

Bruce nods at Steve. 'It's okay. I understand how hard it is to keep your emotions in control, especially anger'

'So how do we protect them?' Tony asks Fury.

'We don't' Nick says back plainly.

'Excuse me?' Tony scowls. Now aggravated.

Fury takes a breath. 'If you'd let me finish Stark, we don't...from HERE. The compound is too well known. We need to put them somewhere discreet and out of sight until we can locate hydra and take them down'

'Like a safe house?' Nat asks 'Thats correct Romanoff' Fury confirms.

'And how long will this take? I'm apparently giving birth in three months...' Your voice shakes as you say it out loud and Nick fury's eyes widen. 'Guess it'll have to take less than three months'

'I know the perfect place, I was saving it for a rainy day. Little old school cottage in the middle of nowhere. Log fire and old fashioned stove top...' Tony steps in.

'Sounds like home' You chuckle and Steve pulls you into him. 'Very 40's' He says reassuringly. Trying to comfort you.

'Can Bucky come too?' You ask carefully and you see Nick thinking for a moment.

'It would make both me and Daisy feel better having him there with us'

'Well Sergeant Barnes? What do you think?' Nick asks Bucky and Bucky takes a deep breath. 'I wouldn't want to be anywhere else'

You and Steve both smile and Bucky smiles back.

'Well I'll go get the keys and directions and set you up with a car and...'

'Tony?' You say questioningly as you watch his mind start to race as he heads out of the room.

He stops to look at you and you walk up to him. Throwing your arms around him. 'Thankyou. Again'

Once you pull back Tony looks at you kindly. His eyes ever so slightly watered. 'I've always dreamed of a real family, my dad talked about the three of you so much that I thought that's practically what you were. You lived up to exactly what he said and I....' His voice wobbles a little but he clears his throat. 'I don't want that to be taken away from you'

You give him another hug as you feel the tears well in your eyes too snd Steve comes up behind you, placing one hand on the small of your back and the other infront of Tony.

'Thankyou'

Tony grabs Steve's hand and shakes it. No matter their disagreements. Tony was right.

Tony leaves the room and you turn to face everyone else.

'I'll miss your cooking...' Pietro groans and Wanda nudges him. 'I mean uh...congratulations on the baby and all...'

You can't help but smile. 'All you got to do is kick hydra's ass and I'll be back before you know it, cooking you whatever you want'

'Paprikash?!' Both Wanda and Pietro now shout out in excitement and you frown slightly. 'I'll get a recipe and practice while I'm away'

'Daisy. I mean this in the most polite way, but do NOT leave this cottage for anyone or anything. And make sure that either Steve or Bucky is with you at ALL times' Nick brings you back to the harsh actuality of it all. This wasn't some little getaway, this was a hideout.

'Understood. Thankyou Fury'

'We'll catch those bastards. Three months'

'Three months...' You whisper to yourself.
