'What're you making?' A strong but eery voice calls out and you jump, turning around to see Loki stood behind you.
'How didn't I know you were there?!'
'I'm an illusion' He announces.
'Sure you are!' You roll your eyes before grabbing a fork and putting it to Loki's chest. When you realise it'll go straight through him. Your eyes become slightly squinted and you look up to see the illusion flicker away.
'Nice to know you were going to penetrate me with a utensil' You spin back around to Loki now infront of you.
'Huh, guess you really are the God of Mischief' You say before stirring the big pot beside you.
Loki smirks and you feel yourself becoming warm from the heat of the steam. 'What do you want Loki?'
'To get inside your mind'
'My, mind?'
Loki puts his hand out but you swat it away.
'Let me'
'Why would I let you do that?'
'Do what?' Steve enters the room. His arms crossed and his eyes narrowed in on Loki.
Loki grins at you before turning around to Steve.
'Maybe he can be my test subject instead' Loki questions as he steps towards Steve.
'I wouldn't mess with him if I were you' Nat enters the room.
'What are you doing brother?' Thor follows behind her.
'I'm just being friendly' Loki shrugs.
'He wants to get into my mind or something'
'Loki! No tricks!' Thor demands and Loki huffs. 'You are all so boring. My talents are wasted here'
'What do you mean by get into our minds?' Steve speaks up and Loki's eyes flicker with excitement.
'I can see your memories'
'What ones?' You ask.
'Depends how strong your mind is' Loki concurs
'If you see a memory, can you see other little details of that particular situation too?'

Loki frowns and thinks for a minute.
'What do you mean?'
'Well. Would you be me in the memory or...'
'No. I would see it as if I'm there' Loki explains.
'Daisy' Steve says sternly.
'What if Loki see's something I missed when I was in that room with Bucky?'
'He is not going inside your head!' Thor calls out.
'I don't think that's up to you, brother' Loki sneers.
'Daisy...' Steve now rushes to your side. 'It's not worth it'
'But what if it is?'
'Oh it is' Loki chirps up and you give him a glare.
'It's worth a shot Steve'
'I told you Daisy I don't...'
'Trust them. I know, I'm not exactly keen on this but..'
'It sounds like you are!' Steve raises his voice a little.
'Lovers quarrel, so soon?' Tony walks into the room.
'She's debating letting Loki into her mind!' Nat speaks up and Tony scowls. 'I'm sorry, what now? You realise he's the...'
'God of Mischief. I'm well aware'
'Daisy' Steve says once again.
'Steve' You say back in the same bitter tone. Steve sighs. He knew you wouldn't let this go so he looks up at Loki.
'Anything happens and I swear I...'
'Yes yes the arc of threatening' Loki rolls his eyes. 'How dull'
You take Steve's hand and squeeze it hard.
'Can I be there, when you do it?' Steve asks.
'I'll do it right now. I just need her to sit' Loki confirms.
You nod and walk over to the chairs in the dining area. Everyone watches in suspense. Steve doesn't leave your side.
'Are you ready?' Loki questions.
You take a deep breath and nod.
Loki puts his hand to your forehead and closes his eyes.

He can see it all. Bucky shouting at you to go. The pain of his screams as he gets electrocuted. The knife being held against your throat.
One thing in particular catches his attention as he flashes through your memories. Steve holding the tesseract as you bleed out, after begging him to leave.
Loki's eyes blink open and his hand falls from your head.
'Brother?' Thor says warily. Loki was drained of colour. More ghostly pale than usual.
'W-what did you see?' You ask him as Steve wraps an arm around you.
'Where is it?' Loki hisses to Steve.
'Where's what?' Steve frowns.
'The tesseract!'
Everyone looks confused and Steve's eyes widen. 'I left it on the plane...'
'That's impossible. The plane was pulled from the water too. There was nothing in it, other than this' Tony reveals Steve's shield and Steve gets up and rushes to it.
'Thankyou' Steve puts out a hand for Tony and Tony reluctantly shakes his hand.
'There's my Cap' You smile and Steve smiles back.
'You mortals are issueless!' Loki now becomes enraged.
'It was on the plane Loki' Steve reassures him.
'Then somebody has taken it! And we need to find it!'
'What is so important about the tesseract?' Steve asks unsure.
'It is another infinity stone' Vision now speaks up. You didn't even realise him snd the others had also filtered into the room.
'We were recruited to get the tesseract off a group called Hydra, that's where we were escaping from when we crashed' You acknowledge as you try and explain.
'I forgot I even had it on me. I was too focused on saving Daisy' Steve says slightly flustered.
'Is there anyone on Earth who would have known?' Loki turns around. Asking the group frantically.
'I'll look through my fathers paperwork. See what I can gather' Tony announces.
'I'll go through the internet and see if there's any correlation with a hydra group in the present day' Bruce jumps in. 'I will also see if there's any matching components between the data we collected from Visions mind stone to see if it's the same compound structure. That might give us more information on the...'
'It's the space stone. That's in the tesseract' Loki tells everyone. 'Whoever has it, can enter access to every planet on the galaxy'
Everyone looks around concerned.
'I'll help you Tony!' You speak up. 'Also, I made dinner, can't exactly work on an empty stomach!' You point to the pot and everyone looks at you in confusion as you rush out of the room with Tony.
'Your fiancé's one hell of a mortal...' Loki says to Steve.
Steve clenches his fists and storms out of the room after you.
'So, shall we eat?' Loki smiles devilishly.
