'Anything Buck?' Steve asks nervously as he paces back and forth.

Bucky takes a deep breath and shakes his head. 'I'm sure she's fine pal'

'You don't know that! Her mother's hearing was today. She promised she would call straight after...'

'You're on in two minutes Captain Rogers!' A producer calls out.

Steve shakes his head. 'I can't do this Buck'

'Yes you can, Daisy's probably sat at home watching. She'll call Steve'

'Let me know if she does. I don't care if you interrupt my speech. I just need to know my girl is safe'

Bucky nods and pats Steve on the shoulder. 'I promise'

Steve takes one more breath before heading out onto platform. Bucky hears the crowd cheering and applauding.

'Excuse me, Sargeant Barnes?' A security guard calls out.

Bucky turns around and frowns at him. 'Yes?'

'Sorry to disturb you, but there's a woman refusing to leave. She claims to know you and Captain Rogers'

Bucky looks at him completely baffled. 'Describe her'

'Oh uh..well she's beautiful. I mean, uh, long brown hair and....oh! A necklace with some kind of flower on?'

Bucky's eyes widen and he feels his heart skip. 'Daisy...' He mumbles.

'I'm sorry?' The Officer questions

Bucky clears his throat 'Take me to her'

'Right this way...' The officer leads Bucky down behind the stage and to a small crowd waiting to gain entry. That's when he hears you.

'If you don't let me in this goddamn place my fiancé will get off that stage and break your neck faster than you can say sorry!'

'Miss I won't tell you again, leave the premises or I'm calling the police' The guard states firmly.

'I'm not going anywhere!'

'Then I'll have to forcibly remove you'

'Oh I'd like to see you try' You grin.

The guard puts his hand on your arm and grips tight. You Push him off with ease and deliver a square punch to his face. His nose pops and he falls to the floor.

'You fucking bitch!' He hisses. Stumbling back up to his feet.

'Can I see my fiancé now?'

'You can see my fist this time!' He barks before raising his arm. Before he can get to you another person grabs him. Bucky.

'Do you KNOW who this woman is?!'

'A fucking whore!' The guard spits and blood shoots from his mouth.

Bucky grips him by the neck and everyone watches.

'This is Daisy. Soon to be Daisy Rogers, Captain Steve Rogers's fiancé'

The guard goes pale. 'So...she wasn't lying?' He pants out as he struggles for breath.

Bucky lowers him and he gasps. 'You're fired. And I suggest you leave before Captain America finishes his speech'

You look up at Bucky and Bucky looks at you in awe before rushing to your side, picking you up and spinning you around.

'Daisy!'

'Bucky!'

He puts you down and studies you carefully. 'You look incredible!'

'I feel incredible!'

'I'm sorry about him...' Bucky points to the guard still struggling to catch his breath.

'I had him handled' You shrug.

'So I saw...' Bucky looks at you curiously. 'Daisy...'

'I'll explain later. Where is he?' you beam.

Bucky puts an arm around your shoulder and leads you up around to the back of the stage.

'He's right there!' Bucky points out and you watch mesmerised as Steve delivers his speech. You knew when he turned around he would see you. Your heart raced and your eyes teared up with pride. You hear the crowd cheer as Steve ends his speech, and that's when he turns. It's like time stops and there's nobody else around. You watch as he strides towards you in a mix of excitement and disbelief. He cups your face and pulls you into a passionate and deep kiss. He leans down and lifts you up. Your legs wrap around his waist and your able to hold yourself with your new found strength.

As your lips pull apart you can't help but cry.

'You're here' Steve pants out.

'Always' You say back before kissing him again softly.
