Taking a deep breath, I hold the door handle.
"Here goes nothing..."
I open the door slightly and pipe out my permission.
"May I come in Mr Park?"
"Come in.", He grants, his voice coming from the far left end of his chamber. His voice was in a melodic drawl. Something I could listen to for hours.
I open the door fully and come face to face with a skyscraping view of the city through his glass windows, multiple glass windows. When I say it was fascinating, I am not lying. But soon, my awe-eyed look was interrupted by him.
"Miss Y/n L/n..? If I'm not wrong?", His tone was unsure.
"No, you're not wrong Mr Park.", I clarified, still not looking away from the city's view.
"Yes, I'm sure the cityscape looks amazing but I need to interview Miss Y/n.", He said in a way as if he was about to laugh at end of his sentence, amused by me getting amused.
I felt my cheeks heat up a little be due to embarrassment.
"My apologies sir..", Looking at the floor, I mumbled loud enough for him to hear, walking towards the chairs in front of him.
He chuckled. "It's fine. I'm Park Jimin by the way. Please have a seat."
I sat on a very comfortable looking chair, keeping my résumé on my lap. And I suppose the chair was supposed to be right in front of him so, I took hold of my résumé and-
Just then I realised that I hadn't seen him face to face nor had I made eye contact with him ever since I walked into this room...
-and looked up. My hands slowly fell back onto my lap. At that moment I...I forgot how to breathe. My mouth grew open by a few millimetres. And the heat rushed up my cheeks making them two times redder because the sight in front of me was a fucking art. My heart was beating furiously that I could feel them on my temples. Yes...I was a mess...but a bigger mess this time.
And the one who caused this mess was sitting right in front of me. It's him, Park Jimin.
The time I rose my head to look at him, greet him and hand him my résumé, his features shut me up. His face was everything I had never even dreamt of. I have seen his face many times everywhere but sitting right in front of him with only a seemingly enormous, heavy, teakwood desk separating us, hit differently.
I could see him down to every detail, and hell, he was breathtaking as ever. No wonder the girls walked out breathless like that.
It's overwhelming to sit in front of someone who's at that level of standards and looks and all that stuff.
His seemingly long wavy jet black hair was divided into a middle partition. One side of his hair was falling onto his forehead while the other side of his hair was sleeked back on the side with gel as it appeared shiny, giving a slight view of his undercut. It was something that made him look stunning as heaven or hell.

His dark eyes were something that lured me into staring at them. I felt like if I stared at them any longer, I would lose myself in them. It was as if the sole purpose of his eyes were to lure people in and make them lose themselves.
He had his head slightly tilted towards the side, giving the view of his side profile. The most prominent feature of his side profile was his jawline and looking at his jawline, the only thing that came into my head was that it was so sharp that it could literally cut something. His jawline was sexy as . I could kill to just touch it.
And.....his light plump lips were something that attracted me towards them like crazy. Hellishly Beautiful...were the only words I could tell seeing them because those lips only made me wonder how they would feel against mine, moving rhythmically while they capture the whole of my bottom lip. Those lips looked very innocent but very sinful at the same time.
I was staring...just staring at him thinking about how someone could be so damn illegal. But there was something I could hear from the distance of my thick imagination.
......miss......Y/n......
.....Miss....Y/n.....
"Miss Y/n?", I snapped back from my imagination blinking harshly.
SHIT! I KINDA GOT CAUGHT DROOLING AT HIM! GOODNESS, HOW LONG WAS I STARING FOR?
"Ah-um-yes?", I stammered looking in all possible directions but his eyes before mustering up the courage to look at him.
"Is everything alright?", Jimin leaned in forward, knitting his eyebrows slightly, sounding a little worried.
"Y-yeah I'm fine.", I said, forcing a half-smile.
He looked at me for a few seconds, his expression unreadable, but he leaned back and nodded his head.
"Okay...if you say so."
What the heck were you imagining about him Y/n...
I maintained that forced smile on my face before he spoke again.
"Now may I see your résumé Miss Y/n?", He rose an eyebrow.
"Oh yes.", I took hold of the binder resting on my lap before handing it to him.
He opened the very first page which had my details. He began to read through them as I watched him inquisitively. His facial expression serious and concentrated, the same expression which did wonders to me. I know what I was thinking before I was kind of...you know...but why the hell did he have to be so damn....fine?
"Pretty impressive....", He spoke suddenly making me snap out again. "It says you finished your Business Studies. But while studying, you did your secretary training simultaneously and continued training for three more years. Is that so?"
"Yes, I did."
Jimin shot his eyebrows up quickly before lowering them. "This is pretty impressive Miss Y/n. The other candidates have not done that. It was either just a year or a year and a half of training by itself. They weren't experienced enough. You on the other hand have an experience of...six years to count from your undergrad. I have to agree this is pretty impressive. "

The redness in my cheeks increased as I heard him. "Thank you, Mr Park.", I squeaked out, managing to not sound timid.
Pretty impressive...I got a compliment...
He gave me a small smile before asking me, "Can you do shorthand for me now? As in if I started talking, can you write it down?"
"Yes.", I nodded my head along.
"Okay now, have this.", He pushed me a paper and a pen and sat up straight, his hands now folded on his desk.
I dragged my chair nearer to his desk, taking hold of the pen and positioning the paper. I felt as if his eyes were following my every move for some reason. I looked up to tell him to start only to catch him staring at me. More redness crept up my cheeks. I was afraid he could clearly see me blushing.
Goodness, what's happening to me...?
"Um, you can start..."
"Ahem...yeah", Looking away he cleared his throat as if he was trying to compose himself.
"Let's start now.", He said as he started speaking out followed by me writing it down. Doing a shorthand is not that hard, to be honest, it's almost like a dictation of sentences but the catch is to make his sentences shorter without changing the essentiality and meaning of the sentences with certain signs, actually, just signs. Shorthand doesn't take much time, to begin with, it exists to make writing faster. But, He was giving me a tricky job. As he went on, he spoke lengthy worded sentences with the speed he went in gradually increasing, making it challenging for me to write but I did it regardless.
As I went on writing, I could still feel his gaze on me, watching my every move and expression. His gaze making it hard for me to concentrate. And the only thing that was running in my mind was to look up at him and take in the eyes and lose myself in them. But I fought the urge to do so.
He spoke for a while and stopped. I hadn't even realised that we had finished.
"You could keep up.", He spoke, making me lift my head as he slid the paper out from my hands.
"Compared to other candidates, you did quite well. I'm impressed.", He ran his eyes over my writing and looked up at me, having a satisfied expression on his face.
"Thank you.", I gave a small smile.
Another compliment what the...
(Time skip)
After a long questionnaire, I was zeroed down to one question. The question being,
"Miss Y/n...this is the last question I'm going to ask you but this question matters a lot.", His expression dead serious.
I gulped.
Huh? What kind of question is this? Of course, I can. Did he anticipate me for this? The question was lame-
"Before you answer without thinking twice let me tell you this,", He rolled his eyes, not in a way you could really tell but it was as if he was kind of annoyed.
"Working for Park Enterprises, working for Fétiche, working for me especially, is not easy as you think. It's no cakewalk. Here, everything is at high stakes, you have to take risks, be flexible with the work, expect the unexpected and be prepared for it."
"So can you really keep up?" Jimin stared into my eyes with intensity as I stared back into his. Even though his face held a serious expression, his eyes said rather something else I couldn't quite figure out. It was almost like there was a glimpse of excitement that vanished as soon as it came and something else I really didn't catch.
I was so going to agree to this anyway the reason being and my secretary training and business studies. But then there was more than that to it.
That being I don't really know why but more than my brain making the decision, it was my body. The thing I couldn't catch in his eyes made my body react to it instantly like, as if my body understood it before me. It was something I didn't know that made adrenaline course through my veins. It was like my body wouldn't listen to my brain anymore. But before I could clarify with myself. My body answered faster.
I nodded...rather eagerly.
"Yes.", I said as I still held the intense eye contact with him.
He raised his eyebrows quickly before lowering them. His eyes flashed with the same excitement I saw before but it disappeared as soon as it came. He continued to hold the same intense gaze with me for what felt like forever before blinking slowly and looking away.
"We are done with the interview Miss Y/n, you are free to leave.", Jimin's voice a monotonous drawl.
I gathered myself together from all the Intensity and pushed my chair back and got up.
"Thank you for giving your time Mr Park, hope you have a great day ahead.", I gave him a professional smile and bowed slightly. I go around my chair and started to walk towards the door. Reaching the door, I was about to open it and take my leave when he spoke up.
"Miss Y/n.", And there, he had pushed away from his desk, revealing his crossed legs, leaned back and his arms resting on his armrests.
I so wanted to take in the way he was just sitting there and looking so damn sexy but I had to stop, but I swear I really get why the girls walked out like that. My curiosity is quenched. "Yes, Mr Park?"
He threw his head back slightly before tilting his head a little towards the right as if contemplating over something in his mind. He wet his lips as if trying to be sure of some thought before meeting his eyes with mine.
"You are hired Miss Y/n."
