(25 minutes later)
It had been twenty-five minutes since Jen I guess had gone inside the CEO's chamber. I had gotten bored of scrolling through my Insta page so I just sat there and looked around.
(Five minutes later)
I was starting zoning out staring at an elegant looking vase on a classic looking stand at the corner of the room but got interrupted by loud and fast thunking of heels. I blink quickly and look in the direction from where the sound came from. It was from the corridor leading to the CEO's chamber. Seconds later the glass door opened and Jen squeezed out before hurling out without sparing anyone a glance or rather....hiding her face.
She made a great effort in hiding her face but nothing can escape my hawk eyes. Her face was flushed.
"Her too....? Why?", I mumbled quietly raising an eyebrow, looking at the place where she disappeared.
After Jen had walked out, Jugyeong got up and went to the CEO's chamber. And I was left with a question and bored.
(10 minutes later)
My elbow, resting on the armchair and my face, resting on my palm, I sighed. I looked at my watch every minute and it had been like 10 MINUTES since she had gone in and I was borrred. So to kill boredom I looked around to see if I could do something and I spotted Nelly probably, using her phone. So I decided to start a conversation.
"Hey...Nelly...", I trailed off.
"Hm?", She looked up from her phone.
"Um...I wanted to know...how you got into the second segment 'cuz I'm finding it hard to believe that I got into it.", I chuckled.
"Oh about that..", She said shifting her eyes back to her phone, continuing to do whatever she was doing. Narrowing my eyes, I flattened my lips getting displeased after seeing her do that.
"I didn't want to apply in the first place but I just did because everyone said that getting a job at Park Enterprises was a big deal so, I applied without even expecting to be selected. But I got selected so I came here. And you know, I don't even know who is the CEO of this company.", Her voice filled with disinterest.

I gaped at her after listening to what she had just said.
ARE YOU FUCKING SHITTING ME RIGHT NOW LADY!??
"You..don't know Park Jimin??"
"Who??", She asked, slightly raising her eyebrow.
"Uhh, Park Jimin....the CEO of Park Enterprises...."
"That's the guy's name who's sitting in there?"
"Yeah...", I said still very shocked that she didn't know that.
"Uh okay then.", She said shrugged her shoulders still doing whatever she was doing on her phone and I took it as a sign that it was the end of this conversation.
(35 minutes later)
I was scrolling through my phone, my boredom still present but not as much, I heard someone speak. I look up and see Jugyeong, standing near the glass door. Then I noticed something was off about her.
"Nelly... It's your turn to go.", She said as she motioned her hands towards the chamber.
"Yeah just a sec...", She murmured, typing something quickly on her phone. I rolled my eyes slightly before shifting my eyes back to Jugyeong as she was waiting for Nelly to go in.
"Hey Jugyeong, I wanted to ask you something."
"Yeah go ahead.", She said, fidgeting with her hands.
"How was the interview? Was it difficult?"
"Um not really...the questions he asked me were okay but...", She trailed off.
"But...??", I encouraged her to speak it out because her body language was clearly off.
"Uh it's nothing.", She shook her head. "I was about to say....h-he might not ask you the same questions...yeah.", She answered. I leaned back slightly, losing hope for her to answer it correctly because it was very obvious that she was lying and she made it up on spot.
"Nelly I've got to go, you should go inside, Mr. Park must be expecting you.", She said quite hurriedly.
"Yup I'm going.", Nelly got up and walked inside the glass door and Jugyeong scurried out of the waiting room.

I was left alone, yet again with the same question and two times more curious OF WHY EVERYONE WHO LEFT HIS CHAMBER CAME OUT BLUSHING AND FLUSTERED BECAUSE EVEN JUGYEONG CAME OUT THE SAME WAY!
"Urgh, the curiosity is fucking killing me!"
(38 minutes later)
I was tired...tired of waiting. There were seven more minutes to go and then it would be my turn for god's sake.
"Okay let's be patient, only seven minutes to go and then freedom from this never-ending boredom!", I sighed leaning my arm on the back of the armchair and resting my head against my hand, being relieved halfway through.
I sat idle for about three minutes but then boredom and curiosity got the best of me. Exhaling sharply, I shot up swinging my handbag on my left shoulder and holding my résumé in my right hand. I slowly but steadily walked toward the glass door and held the handle. I pulled the handle. But as I pulled it, it was as if there was an additional weight on the other side. As an impulse, with a lot of force, I pulled the door open and I heard someone exclaim.
"WOAH-"
My eyes shoot up to see-
"Nelly?"
Nelly stood there awkwardly. I was about to ask her something but I was cut short by myself as it caught my eye again.
Nelly stood there, fiddling with her fingers, looking in all possible directions but where my eyes were..... her face reddened...
I was at this point.
"I-um..um I have to go. Excuse me.", She shuttered out as I silently moved away for her to take her leave.
As she scurried away, I stepped inside the corridor and stood there, letting go of the door as it shut itself silently.
"Her too?!?!", I whisper shouted, scared that Mr Park would hear me if I actually shouted.
I was taken aback this time because one- she also came out of his chamber the same way the other ladies came out two- it was quite a thing to see her act different from her 'I don't give a fuck persona' because that was the only thing we saw.
But now I was ten times more curious to know the only thing that was killing me from the beginning. Like I know that he's hot and all and it does affect to people some extent, but to that extent? That one comes out walking as if they were tipsy then holds like wall and door like as if they are holding on to their life? Or like they would be such a mess that they wouldn't even want to show their face? To me, it seems overdramatic. Maybe be it's because like Nelly said, she didn't know him. Maybe none of them might've known him either. Because if they did then they wouldn't have come outside looking like that.
But I have another thought.
If it weren't all women and there were some guys would they behave the same way? Well maybe, if he were gay and found him attractive and may or may not have known him the first place-
"Shit I can't be standing here for long! He must be expecting me!", Saying that, I almost dashed across the not very long corridor leading to his chamber. The closer I came to his door, the slower I got before actually stopping right in front of his door. The door was just like the one leading to this corridor but the parts where it was supposed to be translucent were different.
But one thing I never realised after being blinded by boredom, I had totally forgotten about stuff like- nervousness, insecurity, doubtfulness and deserving. I never even acknowledged them until later on.
Taking a deep breath, I hold the door handle.
"Here goes nothing..."

Dungeon Core Chat Room.
This is a slower-paced "experiment and dungeon building" web novel that tries to use the idea of peer-to-peer communication with Dungeon Cores instead of Dungeon to slave monster communication to break up the detailed dungeon building. Rank 1 description: (minimum met for system initialization...detailed description as follows) Each race was given a system by the gods to make up for their shortcomings and balance their place in this world. Humans: Abysmally bad at understanding and using magic unable to use more than the lowest of magic were given the "Skill System" magic in the form of premade skills with use, study, and mastery tied to experience. Elves: Intuitively understand magic and have long lives leading to vast knowledge and skill in their chosen fields. However, as a species, they have nearly zero sex drive and less than low fertility, so they were gifted the "World Tree System" with experience gained through the care of natural areas – gifting the chance of children to increase their numbers without dirty copulation. All “natural” or “wild” monsters are given an "Evolution system" designed around killing and consuming as many creatures as possible, slowly increasing strength and, at thresholds, allowing mutations to alter them multiple times. Dungeon cores are different. Unlike humans, they can see, manipulate and live off mana. Unlike Elves, they naturally crystallize after extended periods of time in high mana level areas. However, they cannot easily move or communicate and typically go insane without companionship. As a species other than the odd eccentric they are unimaginative. Brute forcing solutions without the drive to truly innovate. Thus they have been gifted with the "Dungeon Connection System" a magical version of the internet accessible by their peers that allows them to barter and sell: bait, traps, monsters, and knowledge, as well as entertain each other with “adventure streams” using exciting recorded battles and humorous reels of arrogant chumps biting off more than they can chew to often fatal effects. This is the casual story of a dungeon unluckily spawned far from potential adventurers forced to innovate beyond its peers to find its place in this world. Rank 2 Description: Justification. I've been on a dungeon core kick for months and while I love the genre – it's sparse with entries. Often the forced conflict gets repetitive and frantic solving of threats "power levels" the protagonist to god levels to progress the plot – taking away the nice steady progression fantasy I'm looking for. (Progression in this story is linked to how strong of monsters/traps/whatever he can create not his "level"...this is demonstrated by some of his newer monsters beating his older monsters not with discrete "this monster has 10 attack this one has 40") Additionally, the focus on 3rd parties with their drama takes away from the reason I’m reading dungeon core novels in the first place – I'm looking for magical crafting, experimentation and kingdom building – not defence from higher and higher levelled enemies looking to steal/destroy/control the MC. This novel is kind of just me writing the story I wish I could read. I like thinking about the experimentation that can be done in fantasy settings using 'mana' as an excuse to make up rules and try to keep them internally consistent. IE once I define how a rule works, I'm going to commit to keeping it – no breaking hard truths I've given when it's convenient, even if it backs me into a corner. Hopefully, that should make the story interesting to read even if it's SOL and less action-oriented. There will be problems to solve and a clear progression in strength (of created monsters and knowledge) however due to not wanting to force conflict for the sake of conflict the general theme will be closer to slice of life with few action sequences and no overarching goal so please keep that in mind when picking this up as the genre is not for everyone. Finally, I have a clear goal of what I want from this story (not an endless romp but a series of arcs and then a conclusion that's a couple of dozen medium-sized chapters long) I want to commit to finishing it or at least bringing it to a point of rest. I hate all the engaging stories that stop with a “hiatus” indefinitely so in the event I lose motivation I'll work to end this even if the ending becomes rushed/unsatisfying just to give a sense of closure. I’m planning on including several polls in terms of direction and taking feedback heavily into account if I get enough readers (but may choose to ignore it if it deviates too far from the direction I want to take this as in feedback like: “The MC needs a cartoonishly evil arch-enemy that wants to enslave him and force the mc to pump out magic items” or “the MC needs to make a body and learn teleportation then live with humans” will get shot down without consideration.)

Embrace the Blade [Drafts 1&2]
James Ransom grew up unable to do the simplest of life’s tasks. Legs were malformed; he was in a wheel chair as long as he could remember. Suffering from a severe form of muscular exhaustion making him unable to use his hands for long despite his resolve to fight through it. All the challenges facing him he still was able to enjoy reading and video games; but a tragic car accident will change his life forever and perhaps he will be given the opportunity to reincarnate into another world. Special thanks to Mikaelle for the Synopsis. This is my first book/fic so constructive critisism would be very nice. Expect a lot of grammatical errors but hopefully not too many spelling errors. Explanation for the tags; Action/Adventure/Fantasy: These don't really need an explanation, Comedy: I'll try to be funny hopefully I won't fail miserably, Romance: I like romantic sub-plots, LitRPG: No explanation needed but I am using my own system, Reincarnation/Summoned Hero: Not sure which one applies here I'm inclined to think both so I put both, Reader Interactive: I put this one here for my own amusment I'll allow everyone to help create the MC's love interest and maybe a few other things we will also hold a few contests.. Male Lead: self explanitory, Magic: Also easy, Strong Lead: Think of this as more of a weak-to-strong tag the MC will be OP but not till later in the story. Warning: Since this fic is labeled as 'Strategy' I believe that the readers should know as much as possible about the situations presented in the story so they can reach their own conclusions about how a fight could have been won or lost. That means: there are a lot of information dumps early on. I don't know how long I'll be able to write this fic but I promise to keep my few readers informed in case I decide to drop it or something.
