"I'm so not ready...", I whimpered out, standing in front of the main building of the Park Entreprises.
Could we just talk about the building and how huge it is? The moment this building came into my view I was awestruck. The facade made of reflective glass, the shape of the building common but unique at the same time, the height like it has to be at least fifty floors tall. Everything is was so amusing about it.
But after the thoughts of the building faded, my thoughts flipped back to how I presented myself. Was my outfit a little too casual? Or did it show off too much? Ugh, please I don't want anyone eyeing me for looking plus-sized or for their satisfactory reasons.
I furrowed my eyebrows and sighed heavily, I had no choice but to venture out there.
"Fuck it.", Taking a deep breath I pushed the glass door open and walked towards the reception. As I reached the huge desk with three people sitting behind it, one of them acknowledged my presence.
"Good morning ma'am, hope you are having a good day so far, how can I help you?", The receptionist smiled at me slightly as a kind gesture. I smiled back at her in return even though in my head I was an utter . "I'm here for the second segment of the interview for the position of Mr Park's secretary."
"Ah yes, you need to go to the sixty-seventh floor and take the first right you see.", She smiled again.
Sixty-seventh floor? GOSH
"Oh okay", I was about to walk off to god knows where, but she interrupted me by saying-
"The elevators are straight and left from here.", She pointed her finger in the directions.
"Oh yes! thank you very much.", I started walking towards the elevators before hearing a soft 'your welcome' from behind me.

I walk straight and took a left, standing in front of rose gold elevators I press the upward arrow button and walk inside. I press the button to sixty-seventh and the doors close. I stand there still, clutching the strap of my handbag in one hand and my résumé in the other. The only sound one could hear would be my slight heavy breaths and the air conditioner.
The elevator passed through the floors but surprisingly no one got in. Well, great for me because I wouldn't love to look like a panicking mess in front of someone.
With a ding, the elevator doors open and I walk out. I start walking in the directions the receptionist told me, my heels clicking against the seemingly white marble floor. Taking a right, I stopped in front of the waiting area as five heads shot up and looked at me. I froze as their gaze stayed on me for longer. My nervousness was ten times more at this point.
Wait. Is it because of the way I look? Or is it because of my outfit? Or is it's because of the I am?
My thoughts went off like a train but regardless, I took a deep breath and walked towards the lounge and sat on an empty armchair being a little timid.
Okay, I probably did come off as a nervous mess a little bit. Ugh.
But no sooner had I taken my seat, someone walked out of a glass door with translucent specks on it and started scanning the room.
"Ah great everyone is here then.", The man said. "Okay let me introduce you myself, I'm Jun, from the hiring team. And as you guys know, you six are here for the second segment of the interview for being Mr Park's secretary, which is going to be held in person. So, if you guys don't know already, this is supposed to be a pretty important position, which means we pick the so consider yourself blessed.", He flashed a smile which seemed like it would woo any girl but failed miserably on me because if you noticed, all the selected candidates were young women isn't that weird? Well, even women can be the best of the best. I shrugged mentally and I could bet they were looking at him with heart eyes. Well....maybe we were the best of the best. I smiled mentally.

But ladies, really? That's the best taste you've got in men? I highly doubt you've seen Park Jimin but like who hasn't seen him though?
"Well anyways,", the guy continued. "Let me tell you the details on how's everything gonna happen. So you'll be called in the order of your names, so it's Becca, Jen, Jugyeong, Nelly and Y/n. Each of you will have forty-five minutes. And Mr Park will interview in that given time, given that if he is finished with you early or late. Becca, you're up first."
The girl who was supposedly Becca got up and walked into the corridor connected to the glass door......swaying her ass.....way too much making it very obvious that she was trying hard to do so....but Jun didn't seem to notice that because he was checking her out as she walked...
"I think I'm gonna be sick.", I mumbled, shutting my eyes tightly after witnessing that.
Becca went into the CEO's chamber and Jun disappeared to his cabin, leaving me to wild time away. Then, why not tell you who is Park Jimin and what is the Park Entreprises?

A Will Eternal
A Will Eternal is the fourth major xianxia novel by the renowned Er Gen. It tells the tale of Bai Xiaochun, an endearing but exasperating young man who is driven primarily by his fear of death and desire to live forever, but who deeply values friendship and family. The story takes place in the same Universe as Er Gen's other novels, but is a separate story and can be read alone. That said, it does have connections to the other novels, especially I Shall Seal the Heavens. Those connections only pertain to a handful of chapters, so you can read the novel as a whole and enjoy it without first reading ISSTH. However, the best reading experience would begin with the later portions of ISSTH. This novel is much more comedic and light-hearted than Er Gen's previous works, although it has its fair share of action and drama. Beyond the Bridge
There are many worlds, many multiverses, and you can move between them via the Federation's Bridge network - magical gateways to other worlds. The world dubbed "C'thon" by its inhabitants - or Gamma-Theta-Nu-649, if you ask the Federation's bureaucracy - was deserted when the Federation found it. The "civilized" races had all died out centuries prior, and the wilderness had grown downright feral in their absence. Now, the lonely Federation outpost of Bridgetown is under constant threat from the hungry wildlife, malicious fey, territorial goblins, and wandering undead that surround it. The town's distance from the Federation's centers of power means that it gets precious few of the resources that it needs to stay safe and afloat. Enter the Guild of Adventurers, a plucky and disparate crew who do the Federation's dirty work in exchange for coin. One team, the first of many, crosses the Bridge to C'thon looking for fame, fortune, and (if they're lucky) the answer to a newly-discovered Prophecy. They'll get much more than they bargained for, although first they need to avoid being eaten by the local wildlife. Updates weekly on Wednesday. Chapters will be as long as they need to be for them to work, which means they can vary. If anything drops below 2500 words, I'll post an extra chapter if I have one ready. [PS: This is not a litRPG, but I do borrow heavily from TTRPGs for inspiration, and the general setting and storyline is from a TTRPG campaign I'm running.] [PPS: This is my first attempt at writing long-form fiction. I'm not trying to make a great piece of literature or have a multi-novel overarching plot, but hopefully it'll still be a fun story - let me know what you think in the comments.] [PPPS: Cover image is from a free-download wallpaper by Tyler Edlin; I do not own it, and will take it down immediately if requested.]
