arms rested around haru's shoulder as they knocked on the door. daeho and chanmi stood behind the pair, waiting for the door to open.
yoongi rolled his eyes, being met with two familiar faces.
"where are my two favorite kids." yoongi waved to the tiny faces next to namjoon and haru.
yoongi's light smile turned into a glare the instant he faced namjoon and haru. he crossed his arms over his chest.
"i won't forgive you both for leaving me with five idiots."
"don't worry." namjoon patted yoongi's shoulder, "i'm sure they'll be on their best behavior babysitting daeho and chanmi"
"I HAVEN'T SLEPT PROPERLY FOR THE LAST YEAR!" yoongi grabbed the ends of his hair, "I WAKE UP TO JIN HYUNG BEATING UP JUNGKOOK EVERY DAY!"
"yoongi." haru chuckled, "is that the commotion right now?"
haru pointed to the five other people inside the madhouse. yoongi turned around, squinting his eyes shut at the shrieks.
"I'LL GIVE YOU FIVE SECONDS TO GET THE FUCK OUT OF THE KITCHEN!"
yoongi winced as a leek cruised through the air.
"FUCK!" jungkook shrieked, "I'M SORRY HYUNG!"
another leek rammed straight into jungkook's back.
"DON'T DO THIS PLEASE!"
yoongi turned towards namjoon and haru. he bubbled with irritation at the five idiots inside the calm home. he took in a deep breath of air.
haru nudged yoongi, "i can guarantee taking care of daeho and chanmi is much easier than those idiots."
namjoon broke into a subtle laugh. he waved to the two kids standing beside yoongi. haru sent yoongi a kiss before walking away with namjoon.
"honestly," namjoon rubbed the nape of his neck, "if i said i wasn't worried, i'd be lying."
"don't worry joon. they'll be fine."

"uncle kookie." daeho patted the gamer's shoulder.
daeho shook jungkook lightly, trying to get his attention. jungkook turned towards the pair standing next to him. he nodded, waiting for them to continue.
chanmi shuffled around, "where's uncle tae. he said he would show us something really cool."
jungkook ruffled her hair with the sweetest smile. he pointed to a bedroom in the far end of their home.
"he should be in his room."
both chanmi and daeho nodded. they skipped to the room in the back corner. daeho grabbed the doorknob and turned it, hoping taehyung would be inside.
the instant they stepped inside, chanmi broke into giggles. her tiny fingers pointed to a figure resting on the couch with furrowed eyebrows.
"look uncle yoongi is sleeping on the chair."
daeho bobbed his head to the side, fighting back a smile, "i don't think uncle tae's here."
chanmi frowned. her head turned, looking around the room. her head sunk. she had been waiting for uncle tae.
"do you want to explore?" daeho glanced at his sister, "we've never been in uncle tae's room."
chanmi nodded. her dimples crinkled with her smile. daeho held her arm, pulling the younger with him. the two scurried around the room in silence, rummaging through all of the random things scattered around the room.

"chanmi." daeho pointed to the bottle on the dresser, "what's that?"
chanmi shrugged. her eyebrows rose a fraction of an inch upwards as she glanced at the peculiar looking bottle. her eyes met daeho's with a quick nod. chanmi reached for the bottle, clasping her fingers around it.
"read what it says!" daeho cheered behind the younger girl.
chanmi's brow curled as the turned the bottle around. her orbs swirled from side to side reading over the fine text.
"oh." chanmi peeped, "it's hair dye."
daeho glanced at chanmi. his lips curved upwards the slightest bit. he clapped his hands together, grabbing the bottle out of chanmi's hands.
"let's use it."
chanmi pursed her lips, "you're not using it on my hair"
"and it's not going on mine."
daeho smirked at chanmi. he tossed the bottle between his hands, deep in thought. his eyes darted around the almost empty room.
"i know who to test it on."
daeho pointed to the sleeping man - a perfect target for them. chanmi followed daeho's point of view. the smile on her face grew and she hopped up and down. they made their way to yoongi in pure silence, afraid to wake him up before the mission was completed.
"get the gloves oppa!" chanmi screamed in a whisper, "you take forever."
daeho groaned, "chill out chanmi. uncle yoongi will wake up anytime soon."
daeho handed chanmi the disposable plastic gloves before he grabbed the tube that rested on the table beside yoongi. he skimmed through the directions, glancing at yoongi every couple of seconds.
"oh!" daeho piped, "our job is so much easier. uncle yoongi's hair is bleached."
"let's start so we can finish before uncle yoongi wakes up."
daeho nodded, opening the bottle filled with gray hair dye. the two worked in precise quiet and careful movements. every action was planned carefully. they were certain everything would work perfectly.
"WE ARE DONE!" chanmi shrieked as they finished putting the hair dye on yoongi's hair.
"chanmi!" daeho glared at the younger, "be quiet let's not wake him up before the dye sets."
chanmi's lips puffed out into a light pout. she took off her gloves coated with the gray hair dye and tossed it into the tiny trash can in the room. they waited around for the dye to settle.
the two stood by yoongi, sending subtle glances between each other.
"chanmi." daeho met her eyes with worry, "is it just me or does it look like uncle yoongi's about to wake up."
yoongi's eyelids fluttered open.
"let's run."
the duo sprinted out of the room before yoongi noticed his new hair color. chanmi panted beside daeho with hasty breaths. she looked him in the eye.
"do you think he'll find out?"
daeho shrugged before sitting down next to jungkook.
"taehyung was in the kitchen." jungkook ruffled chanmi's hair, "he's with jimin right now."
seconds later, yoongi emerged from taehyung's room. it didn't seem like yoongi noticed his new hair color yet. yoongi yawned, rubbing the nape of his neck as walked into the living room.

jungkook's eyes darted towards the elder male, stretching. he did a double take at yoongi's new appearance.
"oh wow, yoongi hyung." jungkook held back his giggles, "that's a real nice hair color you have."
both jimin and taehyung's heads snapped towards yoongi. the sudden silence exploded into a wave of laughs. jungkook didn't restrain his laughs anymore. he slapped his knees with his fist.
jimin swept back his hair, easing his laughs, "yoongi hyung really outdid himself this time."
taehyung slapped jimin's shoulder "NOW HE REALLY LOOKS LIKE A GRANDPA!"
jin and hoseok followed the loud commotion. they entered into the living room subtly joining the others. jin glanced at the three on the ground rolling around with laughter then at yoongi, brewing with anger.
"yoongi!" jin patted the shorter male, "you went missing for the last 2 hours to dye your hair?"
"YOONGI HYUNG HAS THE WHOLE PACKAGE NOW!" jungkook piped between laughs, "HE LOOKS LIKE A GRANDPA AND HE ACTS LIKE ONE TOO."
"I'M GONNA GIVE YOU ASSHOLES THREE SECONDS TO RUN"

namjoon and haru rested on the bench. haru's head rested at namjoon's shoulder as they enjoyed the still silence. a soft smile etched over haru's lips as the fall gusts blew.
"more than anything, i like spending time with you namjoon." haru whispered, closing her eyes in the breeze.
"me too haru."
"i'm happy i met you, namjoon." haru giggled, "i finally have the one thing i longed most as a child. i have a family."
"our family wouldn't have been complete without you."
namjoon brushed away haru's bangs as the silence fell through the atmosphere again.
a harsh ringtone rippled into the calming serenity. vibrations shot through namjoon's hand. namjoon turned towards haru. he spoke with his eyes, gesturing to his phone. haru giggled with the lightest smile. she nodded at namjoon, moving her head aside for him to check his phone.
namjoon turned on his phone. his arms folded over his chest with a quick eye roll as he checked the name flashing over the screen in bold lettering. he bit his lip, glaring at his phone.
"who is it?" haru chuckled.
namjoon pursed his lips, "min yoongi."
haru broke into hushed laughs from the side lines.
namjoon's eyebrows pinched. he let out a long deep sigh, debating whether to pick up or not. haru's eyes darted towards namjoon, waiting for him to take the call. namjoon shook his head. not this time. namjoon shoved his phone into his pocket before making his way to haru's side again.
haru intertwined her hands with namjoon's before resting her head on his shoulder. they sat in silence, staring at the calm waters in front of them.
namjoon's ringtone exploded into the calm atmosphere. he groaned, already knowing who was calling him.
"pick it up namjoon." haru nodded, "it might be important."
namjoon shook his head. he had lived with them for at least ten years. he knew it was in no way important.
"it's probably not but yoongi hyung will skin me if i don't pick it up."
namjoon picked up the call, pressing his phone to his ear. he didn't give yoongi a chance to speak.
"hyung, we're on a date." namjoon sighed, "can't this wait."
"NO NAMJOON!" yoongi shrieked through the phone, "MY HAIR IS FUCKING GRAY!"
namjoon swore his eardrums broke with yoongi's loud wails.
"YOU BETTER GET BACK HOME IN THE NEXT TWO MINUTES! BEFORE I PERSONALLY END YOU."
***
"I SWEAR HYUNG!" jungkook shrieked, "IT WASN'T ME"
"WASN'T ME MY ASS!"
yoongi chased behind the three youngest with a wooden stick. he waved it in the air.
"YOU BETTER HOPE I DON'T CATCH YOU THREE!" yoongi lunged at them, "I'LL WHOOP YOUR ASSES TO MARS!"
yoongi whacked the stick in the air. he picked up a pillow lying on the ground.
"HYUNG IT WASN'T US!" jimin bolted at the speed of lighting "I SWEAR"
yoongi sprinted, for a grandpa he was awfully fast. he dashed, eating away the distance between him and the three in front of him.
taehyung flicked his head back, "SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT"
he shoved jimin, pushing the slower male forwards. taehyung looked behind him, panting with deep breaths.
"HE'S CATCHING UP IDIOT RUN FASTER!"
"I AM DUMBASS" jimin retorted.
"IM SORRY YOONGI HYUNG I WON'T CALL YOU A GRANDPA AGAIN!"
yoongi's speed increased, and all the adrenaline finally began to flow. he gripped the wooden cane with his hand, whacking it at jungkook.
jungkook writhed in pain, "PLEASE DON'T KILL ME HYUNG I DIDN'T DYE YOUR HAIR I'M SORRY"
"I WAS IN TAEHYUNG'S ROOM!" yoongi wielded the stick, "ONLY YOU THREE GO IN THERE!"
jungkook's back seared with pain as he ran.
"ONLY DAEHO AND CHANMI WENT IN THERE TODAY ME AND JIMIN WERE PLAYING VIDEO GAMES AND TAEHYUNG WAS IN THE KITCHEN"
yoongi froze.
"DAEHO AND CHANMI?"
***
yoongi stared at the front door, waiting for it to open. his eyes darted from the door to his wrist watch. in exactly two minutes he would find namjoon himself.
the front door opened carefully. haru swept back her hair walking with namjoon into the eerie silence.
"WELCOME BACK KIM FUCKING NAMJOON!" yoongi sent a bitter smile to the duo at the door.
namjoon gulped. he shied behind haru, keeping his gaze towards the ground.
"yoongi." haru sent him a sweet smile, "you look good in gray."
yoongi glared at the two. his face flushed red. yoongi gripped at his now washed hair.
"YOU WANT TO KNOW WHO DYED MY HAIR?" he pointed to the two children sitting on the couch, "KIM DAEHO AND KIM CHANMI!"
namjoon coughed. he pressed his lips together, shifting glances between haru, the other boys and then yoongi. he looked at daeho and chanmi, sitting on the couch with the lightest smile.
"personally." haru kept her arm around namjoon's shoulder, "i think they did you a favor."
the boys behind yoongi broke into laughter. they couldn't take it anymore.
"the gray hair really suits you." namjoon couldn't help but add in between his laughter, "it completes the whole grandpa look."
