《Kiss √》FIFTY-ONE

glared at his father. he rose from the ground, holding his father by his collar.
"you're fucking sick."
hyunsik grinned. he swept namjoon's hand off his collar with a small smile.
"son," hyunsik started and paused, "be careful of who you pick a fight with."
hyunsik's eyes narrowed on haru, "it would help, not just for your sake, but theirs."
hyunsik spoke with a sickening sweetness. he pointed towards the group behind namjoon. bangtan, namjoon's family.
namjoon bared his teeth, clenching his jaw, "did you think i didn't know."
hyunsik raised his eyebrows, "know what."
"you killed eomma." namjoon seethed, "you fucking murdered her."
at namjoon's statement, the sheer joy on hyunsik's face is wiped clean. it was like guilt struck him. his eyes sunk down to the floor.
"it was an accident, son."
hyunsik averted his eyes, "a small slip of the hand."
"darling." hyunsik spun his wife around, "do you care for a dance."
his wife was emotionless. there was no smile on her face, no joy, no happiness. Something had been off about her that day.
"you said you were the ceo of kim enterprises!" his wife shot him a glare.
hyunsik tilted his head, "i am?"
"then what the hell is this!"she shrieked.
his wife pulled out a paper from her work bag. she laid it flat on the desk. hyunsik's face was one of the many plastered on the paper.
"i work in the military!" she screamed, "why is your name on the list of criminals!"
hyunsik's eyes widened. he hadn't expected her to find out, let alone have this kind of reaction. he had expected her to understand and be calm, they were already married for a good eight years.

hyunsik walked to the kitchen. he grabbed a drink from the countertop, sipping it to ease his stress. he grabbed the ends of his hair.
"did you fucking use me?" she looked at the boy, hiding behind the stairs, "did you use me to get the drug's i'm working on?"
"i'm a scientist, i specialize in biowarfare." she rushed into their room, "was it all a lie?"
"was your love for me a lie?" she asked.
her eyes were fixated on hyunsik's dark ones. she dashed towards their room, hastily grabbing a suitcase from their closet. she stuffed sets of clothes into it, as many as it could take. she shut the bag closed, pulling it behind her.
hyunsik darted behind her. his heart paced inside his chest. everything was crumbling apart. his whole family.
she threw off their wedding ring,"i'm leaving hyunsik."
the wedding ring clinked against the tile floor as it came crashing down.
hyunsik held her arm, "bora dear, let's talk about this."
she slapped her arm away, "touch me again and i'll fucking end you. you know what i'm capable of, hyunsik."
hyunsik's face twitched in rage. the alcohol was getting to him. his thoughts were all over the place. it wasn't his fault. he didn't do anything wrong.
"then fucking give it to me. give me the drug." he hollered, "give me what i want, or you're not leaving."
it was like a switch had flipped on, hyunsik's anger was kept under the bay majority of the time.
"so you can use it as a weapon" she grabbed the doorknob, "fuck off hyunsik. i'm done with you."
hyunsik couldn't see clearly. all he saw was a faint outline. his head spun.
"give it to me bora." he grabbed her arm, "you're not going anywhere."

bora slapped her hand across his face, "i'm leaving hyunsik.
"goodbye."
she grabbed the doorknob again to open the door, but she never made it past the door.
"i'm sorry bora."
hyunsik stabbed his pocket knife straight through her stomach.
"a small slip of the hand." namjoon's voice rose, "is that what you call a small slip of the hand?"
namjoon shook his father by the collar, "i lost my mother and father that day."
hyunsik looked towards the ground, "it wouldn't have happened if i were in the right state of mind."
for years the guilt had manifested inside hyunsik. he loved bora more than anything. he couldn't look namjoon in the face.
"it doesn't matter you stabbed her with the fucking knife," namjoon let go of hyunsik's collar, "you dug it straight through her stomach."
"i watched behind the door. i saw my own mother get murdered by my father."
hyunsik didn't say anything, he only watched as namjoon expelled his pent up rage.
"you said uncle jeon was a fucking traitor for helping us run away from you. and you made me kill him."
rage filled hyunsik, his eyelids flared, "because he was a fucking traitor."
"he was anything but a traitor, he was more of a father to me than you," namjoon glanced at jungkook, "i killed my best friend-no brothers' father."
hyunsik pursed his lips. he twisted his head, a slight smirk found its way to him.
"both jungkook and i were already going to leave," namjoon looked at his father in pure anger, rage coursed through his veins, "did you think i'd sit quietly after seeing you murder my eomma."
hyunsik chuckled, namjoon's words didn't affect him anymore. they had no affect. they simply passed through one ear and out the other. his laughs escaped like ripples at namjoon's fury.
"i fucking hate you."
hyunsik darted his eyes across the room, "does it look like i care."
he paced around the room, "you see son. it's not me who's losing anything."
"its you."
namjoon bared his teeth, he balls his hands into fists. he glanced at haru, the rage shot up seeing her frail body.
"you murdered eomma and you've hurt my family for the stupid package i stole from the bank." namjoon spat, "i've been looking for it for years."
namjoon took a deep breath, "and if you think i'll give you what you want you're fucking mistaken."
"i'll save haru." "i don't need your stupid cure to do so."
hyunsik shrugged, "suit yourself, son."
"haru doesn't have much longer." hyunsik chuckled, "and if something does happen, that's on you and not me."
hyunsik looked back at the group. his lips twisted into a smug smile.
"i only want the best for you namjoon, my offer is still out there for you."
hyunsik escaped into the darkness. his figure faded away into the shadows.
namjoon collapsed to the ground. he scooted next to haru. his eyes stared right into hers. he couldn't see her like this. it broke his heart.
haru met him with a small weary smile. she was drained of energy, barely able to move.
jin looked at the pair. his eyes softened at the two.
jin met namjoon with anxious eyes, "if there's anything your father's right about."
"its haru." he glanced at her, "she doesn't have much time left."

Galactic Fist of Legend
In the year 2018 a bright star appeared near Earth. Humanity as a whole was briefly introduced to a race of beings far beyond their understanding. During that brief interaction a proclamation was made, Defeat the Grand Emissary or become the eternal slaves of those who had arrived at Earth. The only chance for victory was for people all across the globe to make a choice. When prompted to become a champion and a play a bizarre game of life or death they could choose yes or no. Those who chose no, went about their lives afterward. All memory of the event was lost despite the fact that their very existence as a free species hung by a single thread. Will those who said yes manage to survive the horror of the game and become strong enough to defeat the Grand Emissary. Can one of them become... The Galactic Fist of Legend. Also, it's a comedy. Pretty obvious, right? Notes: This story will contain graphic violence, stupid humor, nudity, sexiness, and maybe I'll give the main character a pet cat or something. I don't know yet. Still, you need to be pretty mature to properly take care of a pet. Notes2: This story is my answer to stories such as Gantz, Terror Infinity, Battle Royale, Btoom!, and strangely enough... Captain N: The Video Game Master. It is an original story, but it does seek to give a similar vibe to some of those tales of legend. However, it is not meant to be an overly serious tale as I have decided that the new stories that I release in the coming year will be mostly comedies.

Sherds
Linus falls into another world, arriving on an archipelago. This is a story about exploration, and archaeology is a major theme! Studying history and pre-history is a favorite of mine, so this is a project using my research to build a world. One of the magic systems has rpg inspired elements, but this isn't a litrpg at its core. I'm an art student and haven't written much, but I like telling stories. This is largely just for fun, my own spin on the RR other world formula. (Placeholder cover is from the Palazzo Massimo in Rome)

Thanks to gej302 for the cover. *** This story is currently being rewritten. If you would like to read it, click here.
