chuckled. he looked behind him as he walked away into the distance. he had already won this game of chess before it started.
"what the fuck hyung!" jungkook shrieked.
jungkook stomped his feet into the ground. he twirled his gun in his right hand. anger flowed through his veins.
"what's this stupid bullshit your dad is spouting?" jungkook howled, "why the fuck didn't you kill him?"
"trust me jungkook." namjoon went silent, "if i had killed him, we would never see jin again."
jungkook stopped in his steps. he hated to admit that namjoon was right. namjoon's father was a dangerous man. jungkook knew that very well.
"jungkook we have to go!" namjoon shouted.
jungkook was in a daze. his head spun into a thousand circles. he couldn't breathe. his cries sucked the air out of his lungs. his small world faded away. his vision was hazy as tears escaped his eyes. he couldn't hold it in longer.
he looked towards the boy screaming at him. he was deaf. his own screams pierced his ears. he lost everything. only namjoon remained for him.
namjoon pulled jungkook by the arm, "kookie we need to leave now!"
namjoon's shirt was stained blood red. his hands were quivering as he held onto jungkook's arm. sweat droplets coated his forehead. he pulled onto jungkook, trying to exit their home.
jungkook turned his head to the side as he noticed the blood. through his tears, he saw the fear in namjoon.
his voice shook, "hyung, why is their blood on your shirt."
namjoon froze. his hand pulsed and his feet trembled. he opened his mouth to speak but no words came out. it was all his fault.
"kookie." his voice quivered, "i killed him"
"he made me do it." namjoon was crying out tears, "he made me kill your father."

"jungkook!" namjoon called, shaking him.
a tear trickled down jungkook's cheek as he turned his head towards namjoon.
"why is he doing this?" jungkook whispered, "didn't he take enough from me?"
the boys were star struck. jungkook would be the last one to cry in front of others. he hated burdening his hyungs.
namjoon didn't waste a moment before swallowing the younger into a hug. under the hands of his father both of them had suffered far too much.
taehyung was unsure of the current situation with the others. his mind was focused on disarming the bomb. he snipped wire after wire, all in an attempt to stop the time from ticking.
droplets of sweat covered his neck. his fingers trembled as he brought the clippers towards the next wire. he held his breath. he snipped the next wire and a gasp left him. he had almost cut the wrong wire. only a few more wires to go.
"you done yet?" haru groaned, "i don't want to die today."
"don't worry haru there are three minutes left." taehyung chuckled.
taehyung glanced over to the girl watching as he cut wires with grace. her mind was engrossed in the art of disarming a bomb.
she rolled her eyes, "yeah three minutes before i blow up."
taehyung glared at her. he continued to cut the wires. he paused as he brought the clippers to the next set of wires. this was all too easy. something was wrong.
"haru." taehyung spoke softly, "where did you find this?"
haru tilted her head to the side. she thought about it for a couple of seconds. why was that important to him?
"in the corner?"
"shit," taehyung ran his hands through his hair.
it was kept in broad daylight, in plain sight. it couldn't have been this easy.

haru furrowed her eyebrows, "what's wrong?"
taehyung slammed his fist into the ground. he turned the bomb over and examined it. many components were missing. it was just a bunch of random wires soldered to a block. he knew it.
"he played us haru. this one's a fake."
haru remained silent. the bomb was a decoy.
"we have to get the others out of here." taehyung paused, "there's no time left."
namjoon turned towards the wide-eyed boys on the couch. silent as all the action had passed.
"you could have told us." namjoon glanced towards the members of exo, "we would have done our best to help."
kai averted his eyes towards the ground. he couldn't look namjoon in the face.
"he threatened us. he said he would kill suho."
namjoon pressed his fingers against his temples. the anger was searing through him. his dad took advantage of them.
kai raised his voice, "why the hell would you steal the drug from the bank?"
"you and i both know what would happen if it got into the wrong hands."
"it was protected by the fucking bank."
"do you really call that protection." namjoon drawled, "we were able to nab it in a flat ten minutes even with an unforeseen obstacle.
kai smacked his forehead. he glared at namjoon. namjoon was thick-headed. kai would have to spell it out for him.
"are you fucking stupid." kai retorted, "he waited for you to steal it because he knew you were going to."
namjoon cocked his head to the side. the pieces of the puzzle fell together. everything that had happened was clicking together.
"hoseok." namjoon called, "didn't haru say she was hired?"
hoseok closed his eyes, deep in thought. the moments of that day had faded away.
"i think so." hoseok turned towards namjoon, "she said she was hired by exo."
"oh my fucking god." namjoon paced around the room, "you guys were supposed to take it from us in the bank."
"no."
namjoon frowned. his eyebrows rose up in confusion. a perplexed expression crossed his face.
"he originally asked us to kill you." lay mumbled, "that was till he found out that bangtan's leader was his son."
namjoon paced around the room. he was lost in reality. he tried to piece together all the pieces to unfold the puzzle.
"that means it's been-"
sehun rose from his seat, "three weeks. it's been three weeks since we last saw suho."
namjoon squinted his eyes. he noticed a familiar pair of people coming closer into his view.
"we have to get out." taehyung ran towards namjoon.
namjoon took a deep breath in. he took a deep breath out as he stared at the red-head in front of him.
"you were supposed to be watching the camera's taehyung!" namjoon shrieked, "why the fuck didn't you tell us someone was already inside."
"just get the fuck out of here." taehyung panted, "there's a bomb somewhere. we need to leave."
