《Kiss √》FIVE

shifted as his side burned, an itching sensation was throbbing in his arm. regaining consciousness, he blinked a couple of times. the pale light above was blinding him. he was almost able to lift up his arm scanning the room, he perceived his family eagerly waiting for him. four eager eyes were staring back at him.
"hyunggg." jungkook cried drawing out the last syllable, smacking jin. "he's awakeee."
jin did not budge. he was dead asleep.
jin had fallen asleep under the crushing weight of the rest. he had grown sleepy waiting for namjoon, exhausted and tired caring for him.
"hyungs attack!" jungkook ordered.
all but the blue-haired boy fell onto jin, trampling him or smacking him in attempts to wake him up. the blue-haired boy was sleeping besides him. they all tried their best to prevent accidentally striking him instead of jin.
jin flickered his eyes, "what do you want?" he mumbled, garbling his words.
"he's awake."
"shit-really." jin rose, his hands on his hips.
jin sprung into action, checking namjoon's heartbeat, his vitals, and his reflexes. namjoon was laying on the bed. his eyebrows were awkwardly raised, glancing at the pairs of eyes staring at him.
a heavy silence settled over them; the tension was oozing within the room.
"so hyung, who attacked you." hoseok giggled, in an attempt to initiate a conversation
the boys had been wondering the same thing. namjoon was rarely defeated; he had fists of iron and the strength of a lion. hoseok was pretty curious to know who managed to brutally beat the one and only namjoon.
jin smacked hoseok on the head, glaring at him ever so slightly.
"aish. he just woke up and you already want to know who beat him up." jin sighed, bobbing his head back and forth in shame.

the boys all nodded back at jin, their eyes were begging for permission.
"wait but yoongi hyung is still sleeping." taehyung shivered, gesturing to the blue-haired boy.
he thought about the death that would fall upon him if he got told to wake up yoongi.
"you wake him up." jimin retorted, shaking his head as if to say he wasn't doing it.
"there's no way i'm doing it, make jungkook or hyung do it." taehyung snapped back, crossing his hands.
"i am not doing it." jungkook huffed, "i'm not moving an inch from this seat."
"hoseok." jimin singsonged, "i guess you're waking up yoongi."
jimin's eyes disappeared as he grinned. taehyung chuckled watching hoseok.
hoseok's force morphed. his nose scrunched up, with his eyebrows furrowed, his eyes were wide open. hoseok couldn't argue, jin did it yesterday he was the only one who didn't decline in time.
"why am i doing it? hoseok mumbled, inching towards yoongi.
he reached out his hand, immediately drawing it back.
"i think he wants to sleep a bit more." hoseok expressed in an attempt to avoid waking yoongi up
"no, he doesn't."
hoseok shuffled a bit closer to yoongi, in a whim slapping his hand across his head.
yoongi's eyes sprang open, a menacing glare spread across his face.
"which one of you fuckers woke me up." he threatened, his voice shook the room.
yoongi pointed at each one of the boys, and hoseok was trembling. he knew this was coming. the oxygen was flowing in and out of his lungs. he nibbled on his nails, chewing away the ends. this gave him away, as he was the only one out of the other six afraid of his own shadow.
yoongi rose from his seat, face to face in front of hoseok. hoseok's eyes stared into the vast abyss of yoongi's cold eyes.

as yoongi brought his hand to flick hoseok's forehead, namjoon chuckled. he loved his family. there was always a gaping hole in his heart for them.
yoongi snapped away at the chuckle, gazing straight at namjoon.
"he's awake?" yoongi questioned, his eyes opened and shut, a puzzled expression coming over him.
namjoon smiled, his dimples deepened, despite the thousands of needles stabbing him. he let happiness swallow him. he had never been happier, his best moments in life came from them. he would stay by their side and grow old together.
"yah, are you blind." jin hissed, "his eyes are open."
yoongi scoffed, "who even managed to do this to him."
namjoon was thinking, all he could visualize was a girl. a girl with long autumn brown hair. namjoon strained trying to remember her face, as a searing pain shot up in his forehead.
namjoon hesitated,"i remember a girl."
"you're joking" taehyung roared.
the boys broke out into hearty laughter. it couldn't have been a girl. namjoon was too strong to let a girl beat him up like that.
"it does explain the kiss on his cheek."jungkook teased.
"unless he had a little too much fun."
the boys found themselves roaring with laughter. the sound of their giggles rippled throughout the home. tears were rolling down their faces as their stomachs hurt from the intense outburst.
namjoon huffed, "i did not."
"wait, what if its that one thing that keeps coming up on the news." jimin pondered.
"you mean shadow. i'm pretty sure thats random bogus the news makes up."
"but she leaves a kiss on everyone she has killed."
"thats bullshit, how can no one know what she looks like." yoongi jabbed, "they say she's killed everyone she attacks."
jungkook sneered, "well if hyung insists its a girl, i doubt it could be anyone else."
"i swear it was a girl." namjoon justified.
he sat upright on the bed, crossing his hands. he already felt better surrounded by his dear brothers, despite the mocking. pointing at his cheek, the giggles continued. the boys were nearly rolling on top of each other. namjoon reached forward to grab a mirror off the counter. he showed it towards his face.
"what the fuck is that on my face!"
