《Best friend VS Boyfriend》Can I call you my cabbage?

"How did you like tonight?" Louis asks as they leave the bar. It's late, nobody is on the street but yet they don't take the risk of holding hands.
"Perfect." Harry smiles shyly.
"I asked you about your night, Harry not to describe yourself. What the fuck, that's just rude."
"Idiot." Harry playfully slaps Louis' arm, looking down to hide his blushes.
"Hey, uhm, I wanted to ask you if you would maybe like to come back to my place? Stay there?" Louis asks nervously, playing with his own fingers.
"Am I being invited into the Tomlinson residence?"
"Yes, Harry you are invited into my shoebox." Louis rolls his eyes.
"I would love to be a shoe in your shoebox."
"Do you know that 'chou' is also French for honey, sweety, baby."
"Is it?"
"Yes, but it also means cabbage."
"I feel the romance." Harry rolls his eyes, laughing with basically everything Louis says.
"I like it actually. You are my chou."
"Do you mean baby, cabbage or an actual shoe?"
"Cabbage, Harry. You are my fucking cabbage. You're an idiot."
"But I'm a cabbage?"
"I can't handle you. Walk quicker, I want to kiss you so you can't say stupid things anymore." Louis teases.
"Really Lou, your level of romance."
"What do you mean, my little cabbage?" Louis teasingly pinches Harry's cheek, making the other boy groan.
"You're right, we should be at your place soon. I don't know whether I can handle being here on the street without kissing the shit out of you to shut you up."
"Cursing, that's hot... my cabbage."
"I hate you."
"I love you too."
It's around ten minutes later that the boys arrive at Louis' place.

"Mind giving me some light with your phone, H? So I can see where I have to put my key?"
"Sure." Harry takes out his phone so Louis can open the door easily.
"Cabbages first." Louis smirks, standing aside from the door so Harry can enter.
"Aw thank you, shoe." Harry bats his eyelashes. "I'll turn on the light."
And when Harry turns on the light, his breath gets stuck in his throat.
Instead of the normal light being turned on, the living room is lit by fairy lights in different colors and rose petals are spread everywhere, leading to the bedroom.
"Lou, what's-"
"Surprise..." Louis smiles sheepily. "I hope you think it's nice..."
"It's beautiful..." Harry nods, turning to Louis. "Why did you do this?"
"I uh- It's not much but I just wanted to make you smile I guess and I'm not really romantic, I actually have never done something like this before even but I feel like you deserve it."
"How did this happen? It's so amazing but you were with me all the time, baby."
"Well, Zayn and Liam don't pay rent so the least they could do is this. I want to make you feel as special as you are to me, H." Louis walks closer up to Harry and puts his arms around his lower middle. "I love you." Louis whispers before pecking his lips. "I love you so much and I'm happy that we gave this a chance, that you didn't give up on me."
"I'd never give up on you, Lou." Harry whispers back. "I love you way too much for that and I have been waiting way too long for you. You're it for me, you know that right?"

"Mh..." Louis nods, just hugging Harry because he can. "I just want you with me. It's so nice to finally open about the things you do to me, Harry Styles." Louis pecks Harry's neck. "So, I wanted to ask you if, now the contract with Kendall is officially over tomorrow, be my boyfriend?"
"So, mister Tomlinson is taking me out to celebrate that I'm single only to unsingle me a few hours later, huh?" Harry has an amused and teasing expression, but his heart eyes can't be hidden.
"Harry just answer, I have been nervous all day about this you dick." Louis pouts.
"Can I call you my shoe then? Because you live in a shoebox."
"Can I call you my cabbage?"
"Wouldn't want anything else."
"Well me neither, so kiss me you fool."

Tim the Engineer
Summoned against his will to a world of swords and magic, an engineering student struggles to find a way home under the shadow of a world devouring threat. ***************************** Updates: 5/13/19: Revisions to several chapters for clarity, grammar, and style. 4/29/19: A short side story and artwork has been added to the blog. 4/8/19: A Side Story has been updated on my new blog (every writer is required to have one). https://talesfromliahar.wordpress.com/ ***************************** “The summoning scenarios are broken down into groups of ten.” Emi Ito stated. “Don’t, don’t you dare say another word.” Muttered Genzo Uchida. His eyes had turned bloodshot and his hands shook with rage. “The first thirty…” “Shut up!” Genzo bellowed “How dare you help these disrespectful gaijin?” Flecks of spit and madness flew from his face, his fist raised ready to strike. But Emi did not flinch, instead she was about ready to continue when Yuma Takeuchi interrupted her. “Uchida, please,” her sweet sounding words could melt ice. “I think we will have a better chance of getting home if we all work together.” When she glanced up with her sleepy looking eyes at Genzo Uchida he deflated visibly. “Were not getting home.” Uchida said coolly. “Group summoning, large, that puts us in the 60 series. No one came to greet us after five minutes of arrival. That leaves scenarios 68 and 69. In scenario 68 there is something that binds the large group together; they are all classmates or a single family. But thanks to the gaijin” he spit out the word “I think we are scenario 69 with no way home.” Ikko Inoue’s eyes went wide, while Katsukno and Hayata started muttering to themselves. Tim took on a serious look and rubbed his scruffy chin. Emi maintained her stoic expression while trying to find something to refute. McKenzie glanced at Randall and giggled. Randall took the prompting of his teammate and followed up by approaching Genzo. “Uh, so we are in a sixty-nine?” “Yes.” Replied Genzo with the seriousness of someone who’s life was about to end. McKenzie covered her mouth and snickered. “You and me, were stuck in a sixty-nine situation?” Randall pushed with a grin. “Yes, we are all stuck in a sixty-nine scenario together!” Genzo retorted in anger. McKenzie fell on her butt laughing. “What the hell is so funny?” Demanded Genzo, whose face had turned red. “It’s a problem with the automatic translation.” Retorted Tim. Randall, who seemed unable to quit started in again “So, about this sixty-ni…” Genzo interrupted Randall with a swift punch to the face. But, because of their height difference it was a bit of an uppercut that left Randall rattled. Tim and Ikko moved to step in between the two, but Genzo showed no further hostility. Instead he just stared at his clenched fist with such intensity it grabbed the attention of the room. “I unlocked a skill.” He said bluntly. ***************************** This is not a light novel, but people who like light novels should enjoy the themes of this book. ***************************** A Map of the Region

Ode to Fallen Angels
Jericho, the land of humanity, squirms in pain. Magic has been forbidden for so long in this so called "Age of Silence", that all Arcane knowledge has been presumed lost and irrecoverable, and the echoes of God's Will grow fainter with every passing year. The sight of Demihuman caravans is less frequent every day, as the likes of orcs and elves have learned to no longer beg for help from those who despise them. Clearly, they can expect more from the voracious wild lands than from humankind. Many have succumbed to despair, some driven mad by their fruitless efforts to bring back a Golden Age that they only ever read about in books. And in the middle of it all, in an old chapel lost in the Eastern lands, young Gabrielle lives in complete ignorance. She is another orphan living under the mercy of the Church of the Saints; one bearing the mark of evil in her red hair, the telltale sign of a Witch. In an Age of the Silent, the Prejudiced, and the Hateful, she clings to a single hope: that one day, be it in life or maybe after it all ends, she may find herself forgiven of her sin. The sin of being born.
