"yes yes yes! i missed sam!" i get excited. my dads jeep wrangler was my favorite thing in the world. "i still can't believe you named it sam." noah says coming from behind me. i watch my dad open the trunk. we load our boxes(which wasn't a lot) and i get even more excited.
i woke up happy and ready to see how today goes. this was the day, the day to be hannah montana.
"alright. looks like we're all good, go say bye to your mother." my dad says before getting in the drivers seat. i close the trunk and skip over to my mom. she's in the doorway drinking a glass of what i assume is wine. "mom its eight o'clock in the morning." i try to take the glass from her.
"shush." she pulls it back slowly so she wouldn't spill any. i shake my head. my mom stares at me. i could tell she was emotional but she did a good job at hiding it. she always does. "i'll miss you." i hug her.
even though my mom and i haven't talked really since dad came home, i still would miss her. especially her yelling my name every time i did something wrong. "my turn!" noah pulls me off of her.
i wave bye then i turn around to see sam. "shotgun!" i scream and run to the passenger seat. "hey! i called shotgun!" noah yells and i hurry to lock the door. i laugh and do a victory dance when i see noah knock on the window. "you guys are still childish, nice to know."
noah gets in the backseat and kicks my seat. he's the childish one. not me. "alright. seatbelts on it's going to be a little drive."

"can you shut the window? we're not in sunny california." noah complained. annoyed, i stick my head back into the car and roll the window up. he was right, it was cold but i really wanted to play out the movie scene.
"i want to move to california or maybe canada. dad you should've moved to canada." i joke. he laughs. "and how would i get you to school?" i shrug. "you could homeschool us."
"no way! how am i supposed to get girls from home?" the idiot in the back says and i quickly turn around. "the only girl that should be on your mind is natalie!" i say with a raised brow. "she is!" he puts his hands up in defense.
we've been in the car for a while now. i look around outside to find where we were. i've never been this way before. it looked just like bellevue except bellevue is prettier. "dad where are we?" i ask. "we're in tacoma." he says and i look outside. this is not what i thought tacoma would've looked like.
"i can't believe we've been in bellevue all of our lives." i have a sudden urge to travel everywhere. "well, you're going to college in a few months. you can go wherever you want." he says and i nod. we haven't really had the college talk in a long time. i'm not sure where i want to go but as long as it's far from washington.
"are you guys hungry or do you want me to keep driving?" my dad stops at a red light. if i'm being honest, i just want a bed.
"keep going." my brother and i say in unison. dad laughs. "hang in there, we're almost there."

"and we're here." my dad beeps the horn and scares me awake. "dad what the hell." noah groans. why is he like this? "come on, we have a busy day tomorrow." he gets out of the car.
half-awake, i get out of the car and look at the house in front of me. suddenly i'm fully awake. "dad this house is nice." i get excited, i can see that the house is a two story.
i hurry to grab all of my stuff from the trunk and i make my way to the door. "someone's excited." my dad comes to unlock the door. "why do you have so much energy?" i can hear noah complaining. "you're going to need energy trying to beat me."
"beat you in what?" the door opens. "beating me in picking a room." i quickly run inside. it's pitch black so i stop. "here we go." dad turns on the light and i see a set of stairs. i run upstairs trying not to drop my boxes. when i get upstairs i look to my right and to my left.
i always like my room on the right. i walk all the way down and i get to a door that has the letter 'b' on it. b as in bri? i sit the boxes down and i open the door. no way.
