Kane really wanted to go to comic con a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, the character you wanted to cosplay wouldn't be able to come for another 2 weeks because they sent your the wrong order. You decided to just go get an outfit from the costume store because of the delay. When the day of Comic-Con rolls around you go to the NSB house to pick up Kane and you will change into your costume once you get there.

Kane: What character are you?

Y/n: I'm Black Gold Saw from the anime Black Rock Shooter.

Kane: Haven't seen that one.

Y/n: We can watch it together later. By the way, this isn't the full outfit I just didn't want to wear it all while driving.

Kane: Then why did you but on those big ass horns?

Y/n: Because I had to pin them and I won't have a mirror to make sure they are on correctly. Now cut the chit-chat and get in the car.

They arrived at the convention and walked around to look at people's costumes. Y/n felt a little self-conscious about her outfit now because she saw so many skinny girls looking good in their cosplay. She told herself to snap out of it and that they both looked good and she was just getting in her own head. After snapping out of deep thought she realized Kane was missing. It was a lot of people there so she got frustrated. Luckily she was not too far away from her.

Y/n: You know you could have told me you stopped. I Legit walked a lot farther from you.

Kane: Oh sorry. I just noticed that she is dressed as my favorite female anime character.

Y/n: Oh really? Well go stand next to her I'll take a picture of you two.

Kane: No.

Y/n: Why not?

Kane: I'm kinda scared.

Y/n sighs and approaches the lady.

Y/n: Hi gorgeous! You're dressed up as my boyfriend's favorite anime character. Do you mind if he takes a picture with you?

Lady: No problem.

Y/n: Kane stand next to her.

Y/n then stepped back to take a picture of them together but a lot of people kept walking in front of the camera. She just waited until the last big group would walk by. After finally having space for a good picture she sees Kane and the lady talk. She couldn't really hear what they were saying because it was so loud in there but she waved her hand to get their attention back on her. They focused and she got the picture.

Y/n: Alright thank you so much for the picture. Where going to go and explore the convention some more now.

Kane: I'll catch up with you later me and Shannon were just talking about Valorant and she plays too.

Y/n: You want me to walk around by myself?

Kane: Yeah, Just for a little while.

Y/n just walked away without saying anything. She definitely walked around alright, in the parking garage to her car. Y/n drove to a mall around the convention and bought a simple two-piece set to change into. She went into the nearest bathroom to change her outfit and then she head for the food court. She sat in the food court waiting for Kane to call her. She had finished eating her food and had yet to get a call from Kane so she decided to walk around the mall. About an hour and a half went by and she still didn't get a call from him. So she called him but he sent her to voice mail.

Y/n: I know you fucking lying. You better pick up this damn phone right now.

Kane: Hey Babe.

Y/n: Don't hey babe me. Why the hell haven't you picked up the phone?

Kane: I mean I'm calling you back now.

Y/n: But you kept sending me to voicemail. What the hell were you doing?

Kane: Well me and Shannon went to see a screening but I forgot to turn off my phone.

Y/n: Well are you ready to go yet?

Kane: Not yet. Shannon and I are going to-

Y/n just hung up.

She just decided to watch a movie until he called. The movie had ended about two hours later and there was still no call from Kane so Y/n went to look at some sneakers in Zumiez. As she was looking at the wall she got a call but it was from an unknown number so she ignored it. However, the number called again so Y/n answered it.

Y/N: Hello.

Kane: Hey babe. My phone died so I'm using Shannon's. I'm ready to go. Where are you? I'll walk to you.

Y/n: I'm not at the convention. I left hours ago.

Kane: What?! Where are you?

Y/n: I've been at the mall. Walk to the front of the building. I'll be there to pick you up in 10 minutes.

Y/n hung up before giving him a chance to respond and she quickly got in her car. As promised she was there on time and saw them at the front. What she didn't expect was for Shannon to get in the car too.

Y/n: Ummm... Why is she getting in the car?

Kane: We were going to get something to eat.

Y/n: Where?

Kane: What do you want?

Y/n: I already ate.

Kane: I was talking to Shannon.

It took everything in Y/n no to explode right then and there.

Shannon: How about In n Out?

Kane: Oh my god! Yes. I love In n Out.

Shannon: Right it's my favorite.

Y/n: We get it. It's good. That's why they have a chain.

The car falls silent. As they get to In n Out, Y/n drives towards the drive-thru but Kane says he wanted to sit at a table outside. So Y/n parked the car and let them order their food while she sat down on her phone. Time had gone by and Shannon and Kane had already finished their meal but they kept talking and talking. Y/n took the hint and just sat in the car until they got tired of talking which was 20 minutes later.

They finally got in the car and Y/n went back to the convention parking lot to drop off Shannon.

Shannon: Bye Kane. It was nice meeting you guys.

Y/n did a tight-lipped smile and wave before driving off. She didn't say a word for a solid 20 minutes until Kane tried to grab her hand.

Y/n: Leave me alone.

Kane: But I don't want to.

Y/n: You had no problem doing that all day today.

Kane: Come on. It wasn't that bad.

Y/n: Does it look like I'm smiling Kane.

Kane: Well no but it wasn't that bad. I see you bought some stuff. Did you get me anything?

Y/n: No. I spent my day like I was single since that's what you do.

Kane: Woah Woah Woah. What the hell are you even talking about?

Y/n: Shannon.

Kane: Oh don't tell me you're jealous.

Y/n: I'm not but so what if I was. Don't you think you would be upset that something you have been planning with your boyfriend for months gets taken away in a matter of minutes?

Kane: What does that have to do with Shannon?

Y/n: It has everything to do with her. Let's start with when you first saw her. You couldn't keep your eyes off her.

Kane: I liked her costume.

Y/n: Bull shit. I know the look you had on your face wasn't innocent in the least.

Kane: That is so not true.

Y/n: Oh trust me I'm not finished. Not only are you giving her google eyes, but you also wanted a picture. Which lead to her coming in and stealing our day together away. Hell, I pretty much let you guys go on a date.

Kane: It's not like that.

Y/n: It is. The only thing that didn't happen was a kiss, which you honestly would have done if I wasn't there picking you up like a soccer mom.

Kane: Y/n-

Y/n pulled into the driveway.

Y/n: Get out. We'll talk inside.

Oliver: How was it?

Kane: It was great!

Y/n: It was fine.

Oliver: You okay?

Kane: She is just mad at me.

Y/n glares at Kane.

Darren: I can tell her eyes just put daggers all in your heart.

Sebastian: What happened?

Y/n: We went to the event, and about an hour in the kept eye fucking this girl in the costume. I stupidly ignored how I felt and asked her to take a picture with him because he claimed she was his favorite anime character. A lot of people were in the way of the picture, so I had to wait to take it. Meanwhile, they hit it off and he walks over to me to tell me that him and his new friend Shannon are going to spend time together, so I can walk this even though we have been planning together for a month by myself. I got fed up and went to the mall while those two lovebirds enjoyed their mini-date.

Ryan: Damn, she is coming for your neck.

Y/n: Oh wait there's more. After they had already been together for 3 hours I called his phone, and he kept sending me to voice mail. Only to call back and say he went to see a movie with her. So I went to see a movie, because he still wasn't ready to go. After the movie, he calls me from her phone because his phone is dead. He didn't even realize I wasn't at the comic con because he was so infatuated with her. Then he had the nerve to invite her to dinner which, I didn't eat with them because I ate at the mall. Then they proceed to talk for another 15 minutes after finishing their food so I go to the car. And guess what?

Justin: What?

Y/n: This ass whole doesn't even know I'm gone for 20 minutes. For 20 minutes I sat in the car and watch my boyfriend go on a date that was supposed to be mine. And I'm a thousand percent sure their tongues would be down each other's throats if I wasn't there.

Kane: You make it sound worse than it really is.

Oliver: I don't know man. It sounds really bad.

Regie: Yeah how you leave your girl.

Kane: Oh not you guys too.

Justin: Bro you have to think from her perspective. What if she ditched you as you did her?

Kane: Man. I didn't ditch her.

Sebastian: Okay so the event started at like 11 right?

Y/n: Yeah.

Sebastian: And you guys split up like an hour later?

Y/n: Yep just a little after 12.

Oliver: When did you guys meet up again?

Y/n: Around 6 then we spent another 1 and a half on their little dinner date.

Sebastian: Bro! That is like 7 hours.

Darren: You a bad boyfriend.

Kane: You guys.

Oliver: Maybe he didn't mean it like that.

Kane: Thank you Oli.

Oliver: But bro 7 hours. I don't think time got that much away from you.

Kane: Oli you're supposed to be helping.

Y/n just rolled her eyes and walked upstairs to Kane's room.

Kane: Baby I'm sorry. I really didn't mean to ditch you I was just-

Y/N: Having a better time with her than you would have had with me. I get it.

Kane: I didn't say that.

Y/N: You didn't have to. Your actions said it all and here I am being the idiot that chauffeured your date night. Or am I the cock blocker cause we both know you would have fucked if I wasn't there?

Kane: That's not true you're putting words into my mouth.

Y/N: I could tell from your actions.

Kane: No that's just what you interpreted. That's not how I felt.

Y/N: Oh really.

Kane: Yes. Really.

Y/N: Okay then let me ask you this. How come I couldn't hang out with both of you.

Kane: Because you didn't want to.

Y/N: No you didn't ask me to stay. You were so busy drooling over her that you didn't even ask me. You made me the third wheel to a date that I planned and Kane it's honestly not fair.

Kane: But-

Y/N: I'm not finished, Kane. You had a whole ass date with her and then called me to pick y'all up like I'm a soccer mom. Do you have any idea how that made me feel?

Y/N: Don't touch me. I can handle myself. You spent the whole day worrying about some other bitch. Don't act as if you care for me now.

Kane: Babe I get that your feelings are hurt but don't call her a bitch.

Y/N smirked in disbelief

Y/N: Are you really trying to protect her already.

Kane: I'm not. I'm just saying this is just between me and you don't bring her into it.

Y/N: What do you mean? Your really going to act like she didn't think it was a problem to spend the entire day with another girl's boyfriend.

Kane: I don't think she meant it like that.

Y/N: You know what your right.

Kane: Thank you.

Y/N: You know what else?

Kane: Hmm?

Y/N: I'm going to stop calling her a bitch too.

Kane: Yeah it's a little crazy.

Y/N: Yep your right so I'm going to stop calling her a bitch and you can stop calling me baby because I'm through.

Kane: Wait. What?

Y/N: You heard me. I am done. I think I have been more than reasonable and I don't owe you any more of my patience.

Y/N grabbed her bag and swung open the door to his bedroom just to see all the boys outside the door. She pushed past them and ran out of the house before anyone could protest.

As Y/N was driving she stopped at a red light. Soon her vision got blurry as tears flooded her eyes. She began to cry hysterically. As the light turned green cars began honking at her and going around her car. Y/N parked her car and balled up in her seat as she cried.

She heard the sound of thunder and rain hitting her car. Soon someone began knocking on her windshield but she continued to ignore it. They then knocked on her windshield harder so she looked at the window and saw Kane. She angrily stepped out of the car and started yelling at him and poking his chest.

Y/N: Why are you here? Go to your new girlfriend and leave me al-

Kane cut Y/N off by kissing her passionately. He held her waist tightly as their lips danced in the rain. Their clothes were getting drenched but they could barely notice because of how hot their skin felt. After a while they separated to catch their breath.Y/N snapped back into reality and pushed Kane's hands off of her before wrapping her arms around her body.

Y/N: How did you find me?

Kane: Snap.

Y/N: How did you even get here?

Y/n: Well you can go ahead and delete everything. You don't need to know anymore.

Kane grabbed Y/N's hands

Kane: No. Please Y/N. Please talk to me. I will listen I promise.

Y/N: Fine but let's get out of the rain first.

Kane ran to the NSB car and told Manager Ty he was going to take me home.He jogged back to Y/N's car, grabbed Y/N's hand, and put her in the passenger seat. He walked around the car and got in the driver's seat. He drove to my house and helped me out of the car. I started to feel very drowsy and collapsed at the front door. Kane rushed to Y/N's aid and grabbed Y/N's face.

Kane: Y/N! Y/N! Baby! Are you okay?

Y/N opened her eyes lowly.

Y/N: I think I have a fever.

Kane quickly helped Y/N up the stairs and went into her bathroom for the first aid kit. He took Y/N's temperature and saw that it was really high so he rushed her to the hospital.

Kane: Hello! I need some immediate help. My girlfriend is having an extremely high fever.

The nurse came from behind the desk and grabbed a wheelchair for Y/N. She then asked me questions as she took Y/N's pulse.

Nurse: Name?

Kane: Y/N

Nurse: Age?

Kane: (Your age)

Nurse: Weight?

Kane: I don't know but it should be on her ID.

Nurse: Allergic to any medications?

Kane: (???)

Nurse: What was her temperature last time you checked?

Kane: 104

Nurse: Okay we got to get her cooled down quick follow me.

The other nurses followed them into a room and started hooking up the heart monitor and taking her temperature again. Kane was soon pushed out of the room as they helped Y/n. Kane stayed at the hospital for hours and eventually a doctored walk to him.

Doctor: Are you Kane?

Kane: Um yes. How did you...?

Doctor: Ms. (Y/L/N) kept mumbling your name. She was looking for you.

Kane: Can I go in and see her?

Doctor: Not right now. She is currently passed out.

Kane: WHAT?!

Doctor: She will be fine. Her blood sugar got a little low so we are giving her an IV. Now I do have a few questions. Do you know how Ms. (Y/L/N) got her fever?

Kane: No. It was just so sudden. We had just had an argument earlier and she walked off, then we both stood in the rain. When I brought her home she collapsed at the front door so I took her temperature and that's how I got here. I didn't get sick but do you think it could be the wet clothes?

Doctor: Honestly I think it could have contributed but I'm pretty sure her fever stems from stress. We checked her levels and they were really high. I don't know what you were arguing about but I think you should avoid these stressful conversations for a while. Maybe visiting only a little will help also.

Kane looked down disappointed

Kane: Okay, thank you for your help.
