the day before her birthday ;

since tomorrow is alex's birthday we decided to surprise her. since she has an indescribable love for puppies we decided to take her to a place that has a bunch of puppies running around and you can play with them and all. since she is at a interview right now we decided to call the place and make sure they're open tomorrow.

"hi , we just wanted to know if you're open tomorrow?" i asked through the phone.

"yes we are , would you like to make an appointment?" the lady asked

"yes , is it possible to make one for 2pm?" i asked , since we are taking her out for breakfast and a lot of cool stuff.

"yes , can i just get your name please?" she asked

"uhm finn wolfhard" i said

"thank you finn we will see you tomorrow at 2pm" she said before saying goodbye. i hung up the phone and looked at the group.

"tomorrow is going to be the best day of her life" sophia said.

"so we heard it was your birthday tomorrow" the interviewer said

"oo yes I'm super excited" i said smiling

"got anything planned?" he asked

"not really i think it's just going to be the group and i hanging out" i said shrugging my shoulders.

"so you're turning 15 right?" he asked and i nodded

"what is something you would like to achieve as a 15 year old?" he asked, i giggle as something came to mind

"actually doing school work"

"not so much gets done?" he laughed

"no way , i get distracted so easily and even those uh fidget spinners don't help" i laughed.

as i walked in the door everyone was in their usual spots ; playing video games.

"alex is back" jack said running up to me and hugging me.

"how was the interview?" he asked

"great" i said putting my things down on the counter and jumping up. jack in front of me holding my waist.

"why are you staring at me like that?" i giggled

"because you're beautiful" he said connecting our lips.

we pulled apart and i giggled as i jumped down from the counter and ran over to the beanbag where jaeden was sitting with sophia.

"sorry to uh interrupt your moment here" i said jumping down behind them

"weren't having a moment" jaeden said.

jack sat next to me and put his arm around me as i played my head on his shoulder.

it was around 8pm and we decided to watch a movie.

"how about horror?" finn said scrolling through the horror section

"shit" i mumbled

"you have me don't worry" jack said kissing my forehead.

"annabelle creation it is!" finn said clicking on the movie and sitting on the couch.

i was next to jack and sophia. sophia was huddled up next to me and jack was huddled up with finn. i was hiding under the blankets , i felt a jump scare coming up. i was right.

"oh shit!" i screamed as i jumped under the blankets. sophia laughed at me and jack reached over and grabbed my hand. even though our backs were facing each other he still found a way to make me feel safe.

we all ended up falling asleep on the couch cuddled into each other.

[ the next morning ; birthday !! ]

i woke up cuddled into everyone trying to remember what happened last night. i picked up my phone and scrolled through my notifications. it's my birthday !!!!! i just remembered , oh my.

i answered the messages then decided to go onto instagram to see even more birthday messages and edits.

i liked a bunch of messages and edits before waking the others up.

"wake up sleepy heads!" i said jumping around. normally it's the other way round.

"come cuddle with me" jack said reaching his arms out , i jumped down and layed on top of him before kissing his cute little nose.

"happy birthday beautiful" he said connecting our lips softly.

"your morning voice is so adorable , i should wake up early more often" i smirked before getting up and waking the others

"wake up finn!" i yelled while jumping over him.

"shh" he said putting his finger on his lips.

"jaeden" jack said running over to him and jumping on his sleeping body.

"jack!" he yelled before wrapping his arms around him.

it took us ages before everyone woke up but we got everyone up.

"hey alex" finn said pointing his phone at me , i looked up and was waiting for what he was going to say next.

"happy birthday" he said zooming on and out of my face as i smiled. the video ended and he walked over and gave me a hug.

"thank you finn" i said messing up his hair.

everyone else said happy birthday and we all got ready since they said we're going somewhere but i'm not allowed to know.

"okay now keep your eyes closed" jack said with his hands over my eyes

"how am i supposed to look when you have your hands over them?" i asked

"fair point" he said as i heard a door open

"okay ready" he said before moving his hands away. i continuously blinked as the sun was super bright. as my vision came back i realised we were at ihop which is my favourite breakfast place in the universe.

"oh my gosh , i love you guys" i said jumping up and down as if i was five.

we got our booth and ordered our food. jacks hand slowly made its way to my thigh and began stroking with his thumb. the butterflies came back once again. i looked at him and smiled.

once we had finished our food we made our way back to the apartment to get changed again since they have another surprise for me. I'm honestly kind of nervous.

"ready?" jack said as he walked into my room

"yep" i said as i walked out with him , hand in hand.

we made it to a place i have never seen before in my life.

"what is this place?" i asked

"you'll find out" finn smirked. i was a little scared by this point.

"hello , i have an appointment under the name finn" he said to the lady behind the counter. she walked us through the back of the store to reveal a bunch of little puppies running around.

"oh. my. gosh. finn" i said hugging him , i looked at all the puppies and i looked back up at jack

"you're adorable" he said sitting down as another puppy ran up to him.

"hey little guy" he said picking it up and playing around with it.

"omg look at this one" jaeden said pointing to the pug in the corner. he went to pat it and it immediately rolled over onto its back. we all laughed and ran around with the puppies. this is honestly one of the best birthdays in my life.

we were at the place for around an hour but we let since our time was up. i said bye to all the puppies and they were all looking at me weirdly.

"what they're adorable" i said as i intertwined my hand with jacks.

"thank you guys for the best birthday i've ever had" i said smiling

"that was our plan" finn smiled giving me a side hug along with everyone else.
