i quickly ran down the stairs nearly slipping due to my socks.

"everything alright?" i asked

"i'm going out for a while , i'll be back at 12" she said making her way to the door

"oh okay , see ya" i said walking back up to my room.

my mum and i don't get a lot of time together but on the other hand that could be a good thing. she legitimately hates me. she doesn't give a single shit about me. but i'm used to it.

i suddenly heard my phone ding. an unfamiliar number on my screen.
