(the song sets the mood for this chapter)
I walked to class, in shock. How could I do this to
Y/n. I shouldn't of flipped out on her like this.
The bell rang for class to begin. It was the last class of the day, math. I'm normally okay at it but today, I couldn't stop thinking about how I could've done things different with Y/n. She was my girl and I basically pushed her out in front of a bus instead of protecting her from it. I really screwed things up.
"Hey Jack?" Finn asked.
I looked up. "Oh, hey Finn. What's up?"
"Do you wanna work together?" He asked.
"Sure." I said as he pulled up a desk next to me.
Finn said something but I completely zoned out. Why did I do this to Y/n? I can't believe I did this to her. Of course, the person that is closest to her decides to stab her in the back. She'll never forgive me.
"What do you think about that equation?" Finn asked.
"Um.. Huh?" I said snapping out of my thoughts.
"Okay dude. What's the matter. You haven't been paying attention to anything I've said." He said.
I sighed. "Fine. If you must know, I flipped out on
y/n and said some things." I said putting my head in my hands.
"What things did you say?" He asked.
"That if she told our parents about us, we were over." I said.
"What happened after that?" He asked.
"Well, I kinda walked away and left her there... alone." I said.
"JACK FREAKING GRAZER!?! You freaking left her there alone?! Are you serious?"
I face palmed. There's no way she would ever forgive me even if I begged her. I broke up with her and just left her there alone.

"What should I do now?" I asked. Tears started welling up in my eyes.
"You have to apologize. If you have feelings for her like I know you do, don't let her get away that easy. She worth fighting for."
The dismissal bell rang.
"I'll tell her at home." I said gathering my things.
"You better hope she'll forgive you." He said walking away. I hoped so too.
I ran down the hallway frantically searching for Sophia. Jack's locker is right next to mine. I knew if I went down there now, I'd run into him and that is what I'm trying to avoid.
"Sophia!" I said spotting her in the crowd of kids trying to get to their lockers.
"I'll meet you at your locker." She yelled. I rolled my eyes. Great. I'm trying to avoid Jack, now I'm forced to do the exact opposite.
I walked to my locker slowly trying to get there after he left. My strategy seemed work. By the time I got there, Jack was gone. Part of me was sad that he didn't wait for me. What I am thinking. He doesn't like me anymore. Why would he want to wait for me? I got my stuff out of my locker and waited for Sophia to get down here.
"Y/N?!" I looked up to see Finn walk up to me.
"What's up, Finn?" I asked.
"I talked to Jack and-"
"Finn, it's over. He's already made it clear that we don't have the same feelings for each other since he obviously didn't want to hear me out. Whatever Jack said to you, I don't care. He doesn't love me anymore." I said walking away. Tears started streaming down my face as I ran into the bathroom.

8 1388Two Broken Roads
Two families have tragically broken apart. Ben and Laura struggle to find a new path from each other's broken relationships.
8 200The Ruined Monks of Rothfield Monastery
Erin is the youngest member of the dark monks; a supernatural brotherhood whose ultimate mission is to improve the dire circumstances of poor, war-torn villages using powers unique to each member. Or so he was led to believe. Erin, like his brothers, does not age, and that is, unfortunately, the only trait he shares with them. He cannot charm or compel like Woodrow, he cannot cast illusions like Knox, he was not swift like Swithin, not powerful like Blake. He was barely an assistant to his dear brother Wilbur, with his herbology and alchemy. He was told to lie low and make himself scarce. That is what he did. The dark monks temporarily reside in abandoned monasteries scattered around the country, feeding the poor and healing the sick, nurturing the monastic lands until it was fertile enough to raise crops and rear animals. As the years passed, they would leave these reformed, repopulated, self-sustaining monasteries and venture froth to help the next settlement. Yet, after years of toiling and quiet servitude, Erin notices that people and the country itself are declining. The villagers look gaunt, the once-lush soil now barren and cracked. He begins to feel disheartened, thinking that their mission is proving futile. Still, their leader Blake is steadfast and charges onward, and lately has his eyes set on a certain monastery in a thick, thorned forest that seems to diminish, even nullify their powers. A thick forest that Erin somehow has a connection to. A thorned glade where an ethereal voice calls his name with one simple request along with a promise:Heal the land, child. Heal the land and I promise to give you sanctuary so long as you stay. I promise to nurture you as you nurture me. As Erin cultivates the land, the land, in turn, gifts all its caretakers with new, enhanced skillsets on top of their unique powers -- skills of protection, healing, and magic. Magic. Erin had long wished to see the world fill with it again. The people, regardless of common or noble blood, still believe that magic will enter this world again. Magic to bless the king like it did the Saints. Magic to dispel the miasma befouling the world. Magic to bring back the fae folk and their many forms. It is up to Erin to forge the many paths leading to a bright future; to build a prosperous paradise that welcomes all races and bloodlines, by mastering the rewards gained through agriculture, horticulture, and animal husbandry, smithing, crafting, and fishing. Erin may also find a lifelong friendship and romance with his neighbor, Claude, if he decides to pursue him, and may even join him in the military campaign outside the monastery. The darkness still lurks outside, after all, and the mastery of his skills, along with a few good friends, may finally be enough to turn the tide in their favor. Most of all, Erin wants to keep the vow he set for himself: to protect everyone and everything he loves until his dying breath.

8 118For Him » Poetry
- la douleur exquise;(n.) the heart-wrenching pain of wanting the attention of someone unattainable. _This is a poetry sort of book, I guess you could say. Each part in this book, has words that come from someone, whose heart has been through what it's like to desperately need someone, but have to painfully never be able to have them, to love them, to give their hearts to them, like their souls are calling out to do. Unrequited love is one of the worst out of them all. _All covers made by me.
