I'll be honest. I have no clue how I beat mom and honestly think there's a small chance she might have let me win despite her words.

Like yeah sure I was able to disarm her, either through luck, skill or her letting me, I do not know. It's not something that happens to her often. Especially when it is both knives she is disarmed of.

Am I proud of my victory though? The answer is still yes. Do I believe it though, is an entirely different question that I can't answer.

Thalia and Annabeth were having the same reaction of disbelief as I was.

After that though nothing really interesting happened until a week after we went back to camp. Well unless you count Thalia throwing a small fit about Annabeth beating her in a knives duel.

Now you see there's an unofficial competition between us for who's the best in all the categories. Annabeth is winning in spear. Thalia in spear and shield. Myself in knives, swords, and archery. While it's a tie at throwing knives between Annabeth and Thalia, who both took that up more naturally than myself despite it being one of my best. And then a tie between Thalia and myself for hand to hand, which we deduced to us having our sperm donors being a part of the big three.

Annabeth doesn't really mind the competition though. She's been more so focusing on developing her brain power and quick strategies, which given enough time she may start beating Thalia and myself in all categories, except maybe archery and throwing knives as we use targets for that training and not each other.

Sorry adhd...a week after we arrived at camp right? Yeah. So a week after we arrived at camp, too which I was surprised to see another trainer there, one whom I didn't recognize and a hell hound that just so happened to be his pet. He was name Quintus, which I found weird, who names their kid five. The hellhound was named mrs. O'Leary though.

Sorry adhd again. Anyways the real interesting part came when Peter made his return. Which if I'm honest I was hoping he was eaten by monsters. Well he was pretty close but the reason why his return was interesting interrupted that and probably ended up saving him.

It's also the reason why we are all in the big house right now. "Peter why did you bring this mortal with you" Perseus asked

"It's a really unwise decision getting her involved in our affairs Peter" Chiron added

"Hello. I'm right here and have a name" the mortal girl said...oh wait she's the one from the Hoover dam. I guess it is a small world. I only hope she doesn't recognize Thalia and myself.

"Well what is your name" Silena asked being nice as her usual self.

"My name is Rachel Elizabeth Dare. Nice to meet you..." Rachel answered

"Hi my name is Silena Beauregard"

"It is still unwise to have her here" Annabeth interjected

"Especially with what's on the horizon" Clarisse added

"Well she's clear sighted" Peter argued, "and helped saved the school"

"You mean I pulled you out of that weird trance that metal and donkey legged girl put you in and then convinced the other mortals who seen the death of the second one that you were innocent of whatever they thought you did" Rachel said

"How did you do that" Chiron asked

"I threw my hairbrush at one trying to seduce him. Hit her right in the eye" Rachel answered

"I like this girl can we keep her" Clarisse asked, more so begged, but don't tell her that's what it looked like

"No we can't" Chiron said

"Oh come on name one other mortal who would willingly throw a hairbrush at an empousa" Clarisse asked

"Can I just have some answers" Rachel asked, "I'll be on my way afterwards"

"That won't be wise either" Chiron said, "but I suppose you can have some answers"

Rachel went on to ask about demigods, why mortals never recognized what we did correctly, various monsters, the gods and other immortal beings and finally the one thing I hope she wouldn't ask why were Thalia, myself and one other girl at the Hoover dam this winter, stealing statues.

"YOU TWO WENT TO THE HOOVER DAM WITHOUT ME" Annabeth yelled at Thalia and I

"One we were on quest Annie and it just so happened to cross our path. We'll go back with you later" Thalia said, causing Annabeth to huff and sit annoyed in-between us

"And Two they aren't statues. They are automatons and should have returned" I said

"Automatons" Rachel questioned

"Robots but with their own consciousness" Beckendorf explained the simple way. Now if it was one of his siblings who asked we might have been there for hours while he explained the complexities that is an automaton.

"Though how do you recognize us" I asked

"The binoculars" Rachel stated like it was obvious

"I still don't like this" Chiron said

"She knows too much now anyways. Heck they way she describes it she's known too much for a while. It's a miracle she hasn't been killed by a monster yet, like she would be if she was one of us" Clarisse answered

"Killed" Rachel asked

"Many demigods don't make it to adulthood because they don't make it to camp to train and even if they do, the odds are still not in their favor" Clarisse answered

"Rachel you will be taking the education classes first to at least learn how to identify which monsters are which and how best to get around them" Perseus said, "after that you might start training if you do wish to continue and start training"

"What about my dad" she asked, "He probably already thinks I've been kidnapped"

"I'll handle that with the mist" Chiron answered, "just tell me where he is so I can talk to him"

See that's the interesting thing. There's a mortal at camp now and the only mortals usually permitted at camp is the Oracle or whoever takes over from the Oracle. And Rachel is neither, well at least not yet. She could possibly be the next oracle but there is no way any of us are telling her about that.
