Where was I...Oh yeah Chiron just came to realize that Thalia's tree has been poisoned, and it is beginning to start to have an effect on the shield protecting Camp half-blood. Though it isn't really a problem for me, as I am leaving today to rejoin my mom's hunt. But it is a problem for my friends who are staying at camp, which includes the girl, that I'm sure by now all of my sister's think I am dating, Annabeth. She's only my best friend, but all of them think otherwise now, probably because of Zoë telling them that I agreed to go to watch fireworks with her.

Ughh, sorry ADHD. Anyways, I just finished eating lunch and was about to start training with Annabeth and the Athena cabin, now that she was in charge and her douche brother couldn't say anything about it. However, that was until the hunting horn of my mom's hunt sounded off, through the valley Camp was in.

I being the ADHD kid that I am, who also loves his family, immediately took off to the camp's border, to go greet my sisters and mom. This had the downside of pulling the Athena cabin with me, as Annabeth chased after me.

As I got to the top of the hill, I noticed my mom was there waiting with the hunt, likely not wanting to stay here long. "Percy" some of my sisters shouted before tackling me in a hug.

"How's the girlfriend, little bro" Zoë said, from behind them watching us on the ground. I looked at Annabeth and saw that she was blushing, slightly.

"I go to see fireworks with Annabeth one time and you all think I'm dating her" I questioned.

"You are forgetting the amount of training you do with her as well, Perce"Phoebe said. Which only made sense for her because she was the daughter of Ares, and to her training probably counts as a date

"So, maybe I...wait are friends not allowed to train together" I asked, which only got a laugh from the hunters and a slap from Annabeth, which none of the hunters moved to stop, which was unusual of them.

"Come on son" Mom said, "we don't want to spend all day here". Obviously, she was in a rush, but for what I don't know. Then again it could just be mom doesn't want to be near the poisoned tree, and weaker barrier that the Demeter cabin and Dionysus's two children were doing all they could to help heal the tree.

"Alright just let me grab my stuff from the cabin" I said, rushing off to the cabin.

I quickly packed everything I wanted to bring and started to run back out only to run into Annabeth, who had a bag packed like she was going somewhere too.

"Sorry, Wise girl, I thought you were staying here though" I said, helping her up

"Well your mom asked if I would like to travel with you all" She responded, with a slightly happy look. I didn't know if that's because she would be spending time with the hunt, joining it, or because she would be spending time with me, but I think my sisters, mom, and Annabeth would make me figure that out on my own.

"Percy hurry your slow butt up" I heard Zoë shout only to hear a smacking sound shortly following.

"We should probably hurry before your mom decides to ground you for any longer. I'll even race you there" She said taking off running. I began to chase after her, as she always did this when we had a race

We reached the hunt and my mom at the same time, only for both of us to start arguing about who won again, and me calling her out for always taking off at the suggestion of a race, instead of giving a count down

"Both of you quit it. It was a tie" Mom said, which I'm sure caused both of us to blush in embarrassment

"Good now, we are heading to the Delaware Water Gap National Park for our next campsite" Zoe said and Annabeth paled a little

"But that's like a 40 hour hike" She stuttered out

"It's like an hour journey for us" Zoe said , while my mother had her thinking face on. And If any of you tell her I know what her thinking face is like have fun waking up in the middle of nowhere Kansas.

"Wait, I knew I forgot to give you my blessing so you could keep up with us" she said after a few minutes, only to give Annabeth a minor blessing of hers.

"Ok, niece. Now your endurance and speed has been improved, as well as your skills with a bow, and before you ask, because you are your mother's daughter, no you don't have the partial immortality that my hunters do" Mom explained, to which the last part got some chuckles from Annabeth's half sisters that are in the hunt

"So it is basically the blessing the hunters get but without the immortality" Annabeth asked, to which her half sisters snickered, proclaiming that Annabeth is without a doubt a child of Athena

"In simple terms yes" My mom said, "now that hopefully all questions are out of the way for now, we must get going so we can set up camp. And Percy you are in charge of making sure your friend here doesn't get lost or losses us"

"Alright mom" I said, only for the hunt to take off without me and Annabeth being ready.

"Did they leave us here" Annabeth asked

"No, I think they wanted to give us a little privacy, though that is unlike my sisters" I explained taking her hand and leading her off to where the next campsite was.

When we arrived at the national park mom choose for the hunt to set up camp in I had to actually track down where they went to set up camp. Finding camp only took a half hour, but it came at the cost of my sisters making suggestive jokes about what me and Annabeth were doing, which only served to make the both of us blush in embarrassment.

I don't know how long the jokes were going on, but my mom eventually made her way out of her tent and got them to stop.

"Now that you're done embarrassing your little brother and his friend, girls. I would like to remind you that Annabeth is our guest here for this school year and that you should treat her nicely" Mom said telling the hunters who just nodded

"Glad you all understand. Now Annabeth, here's a tent and if you need help with it just ask Percy or one of my hunters and they'll help you with it. You shall also be setting it up next to Percy's" Mom said, not only giving her a tent, but also assigning her a spot on where to set up her tent

I went to set up my tent, now that mom's instructions were over, on the unoccupied side of her tent, while Annabeth walked up next to my tent and seemed to be trying to figure it out, but failing to do so and only getting frustrated at the collapsible magic tent

"Need help" I asked, seeing that her frustration would only grow with nothing happening

"yeah" she said quietly but with slightly hidden anger

"Ok" I said, and I proceeded to teach her how to set up and take down her, until she could get it done on her own. Now some of you may be wondering why I'm not describing that process to you, well that's simple you aren't part of the hunt or you don't have my mom's permission, so you're out of luck when it comes to the hunt's tents

After mom had seen that Annabeth and I had set up our tents and were getting settled in, she announced that dinner was in an hour and that tomorrow we will be at our normal schedules, except for me because I'm grounded now

"What's the usual schedule" Annabeth asked, and that's when everyone began to realize that she had been given very little information about the hunt's time schedule

"Well, wake up at 6 breakfast at 7, and then for you niece we will be testing your skills in archery and wielding knives or your dagger if you wish to wield that instead" Mom said, coming up with a modified schedule for Annabeth to start off with, as usually it is hunting or weapons maintenance after breakfast

After dinner, I asked Zoe if she had any plans for making a spear with the Minotaur horn as it's tip and she showed me a few concept drawings she made, before I picked on one and we agreed to start working on making it after my week of being grounded
