"Astrid! Hurry up!"
The said girl glared at the back of Peter's head and remarked, "I'll do what I damn please, Pan."
Astrid panted and groaned before picking up her pace, running even faster. They had been running for a good half an hour.
Peter disappeared behind some leaves as Astrid pushed past them to see a big cave with a piece of paper pinned to a wall. Peter took her hand and dragged her over to the paper, which was large and ancient-looking with black markings on it.
"It's a map of Neverland. What's so special about it?" Astrid asked, lifting an eyebrow at him.
He grinned and answered, "It leads to where your pal Hook keeps his treasure."
Astrid scoffed, narrowing her eyes at him somewhat curiously, "Why don't you just go get it? You have magic and you can fly."
"It's all so new and I wanted to do it with you. It's much more fun that way. And, since you don't use your magic, I won't use mine-- for the time being, at least. I want to do it the old-fashioned way."
"What do you plan on doing with his treasures?" Astrid remarked, folding her arms across her chest.
"When we find the treasure, we are going to throw it into the sea." Peter simply answered, "It'll help give you some kind of payback on that pirate."
Astrid narrowed her eyes at the boy again but in suspicion and commented, "So this journey is, what, closure for me? I will never forgive that man."
"It's okay, love, you've got me on your side now." Peter replied with a smirk.
Astrid was sitting Indian-style on the living room floor, playing Assassin's Creed on the XBox. Snow had left out of the room to talk to her other daughter while David sat on the couch while watching the teenager play her video game.
David commented on her impressive killing skills on the game as Astrid smirked and continued playing.

After fifteen minutes passed, Snow stepped back into the room as David moved over to the table and sat down at it while Astrid paused her game and joined them.
Snow explained what was going on, and after explaining everything to the two of them, David inquired, "So Rumplestiltskin is Henry's grandfather?"
Snow nodded, "Apparently."
"But I'm his grandfather." David replied as Astrid laughed and remarked towards him, "You can have more than one."
"So his step-grandmother is Regina and the Evil Queen?" David also questioned.
"Actually, his step-great-grandmother. And she's also his adoptive mother." Snow corrected.
"It's a good thing we don't have Thanksgiving in our land because that dinner would suck." David remarked.
Snow laughed and then replied, "Or... maybe this will mellow everyone out."
Astrid furrowed her eyebrows and spoke up, "Wait. What's Thanksgiving?"
"It's a holiday in November where you have this large feast and all of your family and friends gather around, sit and eat, and just have a good time." David explained.
"Oh. We had feasts like that. Like the Feast of the Einherjar." Astrid commented with a small laugh.
"Would you invite Hook?" Snow asked her about these holidays.
"I'd never invite him." Astrid remarked and then turned to her father and cheekily inquired, "Hey, Dad, want to learn how to play Call of Duty? I picked up on it really fast when I first got here, so it's easy."
"Sure, why not?" David shrugged with a small laugh and followed the teenager into the living room, both now sitting down on the floor and began playing the said video game.
Astrid shoved another branch out of the way as the two of them kept walking; Peter's footsteps were louder than her soft and light ones.
Another branch was shoved out of the way by Peter this time when they stopped and found the spot. It was a small cleaning not too far from the beach with a large tree as its shade.

The tree had an 'H' engraved in it along with an 'X' to mark the spot. Astrid traced her hand lightly across the 'H' and felt the anger and disappointment towards the pirate all over again.
The girl turned around, her back facing the tree and arms folded across her chest now. Peter had started digging in the ground with his shovel. "Wait. It's not in the ground." Astrid said while facing the tree.
"What do you mean?" Peter inquired.
"Hook isn't that stupid. He wouldn't have made it so easy." Astrid explained and then clenched her fist, drawing it back, and then hit the wood with a crack and a sharp pain in her knuckles.
Her knuckles was bloody now, but the small treasure chest inside of the tree was now visible. "You alright, Charming?" Peter asked the girl while taking her hurt hand in his to look at it.
"Yeah, I'm fine." Astrid muttered and nodded at the chest, "There it is."
Peter ran his fingers over the chest and picked it up and smirked. "Let's go dump the treasure, love."

The two teenagers stood on the edge of the cliff as Peter handed the chest over to Astrid. "You ready?"
Astrid took the small chest and opened it to reveal gold coins, jewels, and other treasures. She moved her fingers lightly over the stuff and noticed a silver ring with a blue sapphire in the center of the band in it. "Can I keep one?"
Peter's green eyes softened a little as he nodded and replied, "Whatever you want, Charming."
Astrid took the ring with the sapphire and then threw the chest as it toppled down, sending gold coins and jewels crashing into the sea below the cliff.
"You good?" He spoke up lightly.
"I will be." Astrid admitted.
"Truce now?" Peter replied as the girl laughed somewhat and then nodded and agreed, "Truce."
Astrid stopped at the library and entered the building, noticing the one handed pirate on the floor as he stirred and woke up some.
"Hook!" Astrid started in concern and rushed over to him, one hand on his shoulder. "Hey, hey, you're okay. I got you..."
Hook sat up and now sat on the floor while Astrid was kneeling beside him. "Astrid?" She nodded and assured him, "Right here."
"Cora-" Hook started but stopped and shook his head slightly before commenting, "I'm not even surprised that she double crossed me."
He then noticed the blue sapphire ring around the girl's left pointer finger and furrowed his eyebrows and asked, "Where'd you find that ring?"
Astrid sat back and sighed before removing the ring off of her finger and looked at it carefully. "I had found your treasure in a tree on Neverland... I was hurt and angry, so I dumped it out in the sea..."
"But you kept that one. Why?" Hook began.
"To remind me to never trust again... I've been angry for so long..." Astrid started reluctantly, "I'm not angry anymore." She dropped the ring with the sapphire into his left hand and continued, "I forgive you, Hook-- And I forgive myself. Did you?"
Hook's eyes watered slightly as he watched the girl sitting beside him while reluctantly commenting, "You forgave me, even after all that I've done to you." Astrid nodded. "I'll try and not let you down again, AJ."
"We good?" Astrid spoke up again lightly.
"We will be." Hook admitted.
"Truce now?" Astrid slowly replied as the pirate laughed somewhat and then nodded and agreed, "Truce."
"Then it's good." Astrid murmured and laid her head lightly on his shoulder as the two of them just sat there for a while.
Hook slid the ring over his pinkie, that ring now having a different meaning behind it; It's a sign of her forgiveness towards him and herself and their truce.

High school life in a world where everyone has superpowers
So, um... how do I explain this simply? Okay, so... There's a girl, she's er... She's in high school, and, um... She has a superpower that mutes things? Also she lives? Yeah, sorry. The concept's too confusing isn't it? Warning: The stuff below is technically correct, but this fiction, with my other, is now on the failed pledge list. Shocking how a lack of updates for more than half a year actually meant something... Sorry for the delay, still not really up to writing for this series as of now (14/03/18 - remember I'm english, so correct) but I'm still trying to get into writing... Cover is thanks to Zenlith (WriTE's Founding Member). This fiction is signed under the 'The Pledge'... Some internet message in a forum about not dropping or giving a rushed ending in their fiction, otherwise meet the wrath of letting RRL mod Vocaloid have 'fun' with the fiction's description. So mainly for the sake of my fiction due to said wrath, I'll see this fiction through. Updates: up in the air... hopefully the day after this is edited, but we all have dreams. Warning for mild profanity, but it shouldn't happen too much for the innocent out there so don't take the warning to heart.
