-Rain

The lights seeped through the curtains. I groaned as I turned around. I didn't feel like waking up. I was tired.

The Rosa's next move was taking a troll on me.

I had a meeting at 1:30 that went on till 5 in the morning. Like hell I would feel like waking up.

Over the top my brother decided to pay me a visit. He is tad bit annoying and always get on my nerves and is a big pervert.

I turned around to look at the clock mounted on the wall. It read 11 a.m.

He must me asleep right now.

Rain and Amy must have woken up a long time ago. I decided to get up and quickly get dressed.

Once I took a bath, did my business and put on a tee and sweatpants I went downstairs.

Amber was playing and running around Coco but where was Rain?

I could hear a melodic laughter. I could recognize this voice in a crowd also.

There sat Rain on the counter next to a shirtless Dominic. Laughing at something he said.

I didn't like it one bit.

I marched to the kitchen. Non of them noticed me. Too engrossed in there talks.

I cleared my throat and then finally Rain and Dominic looked me my direction.

"Good morning.", Rain wished.

"Morning.", I said softly.

"Hope you slept peacefully brother.", Dominic stated while winking at Rain as if they shared a secret.

Rain giggled at his attics.

"We have already have breakfast. Your is there in the dinning room. Go, have it. I made sure it is warm.", Rain stated politely.

I nodded my head.

"Atleast wear a shirt Dominic.", I hissed.

"Why? Jealous of my hotness.", he said while winking.

I can never win from him.

I wanted to go and eat my breakfast quickly so that I could come back to them because I didn't like it one bit that how close Dominic has grown to Rain.

On the way I was stopped by Amy as she wrapped her hands around my leg. I picked her up as I started making my way to the dinning room while Coco followed us.

I sat on the chair and placed Amber on her chair. The meal was quite plain but after Rain shouted at me for wasting food I reduced the amount of food cooked for breakfast though it is said you should eat your breakfast like a king.

I took out a piece of chicken from the salad using my chopsticks as I passed it on to Amber who opened her mouth immediately.

Amber waited patiently while I finished my meal which took me literally six minutes.

I picked up Amber as I left the dinning while this time Coco led us. I chuckled at it.

I say Dominic sitting on the couch reading the newspaper. Rain was no where in sight.

"Where is Rain?", I asked him.

"Gone to get ready. I am taking her out on a date.", he stated while shrugging.

I put Amber down as I dashed in his direction picking him by his shirt's collar.

"My Rain is not going on a date with you.", I said menacingly.

Instead of being scared, Dominic started laughing. I let go of him as he fell on the couch and continued to laugh.

"Oh brother you look so cute when you are all worked up and jealous.", Dominic said wiping his tears.

I growled.

"Don't worry man. She has gone up to get ready for your family photo. Your house lacks a family photo. Now you also go and get ready. Once Rain is ready see will prepare Amber. I have asked her to wear something casual. So you also do the same.", Dominic stated.

I would never say it on his face but he was correct. We should have at least one family photo.

I picked up Amber as I went up stairs. As I climbed the last stair I saw Rain coming out of her room wearing white leggings and a red cardigan.

"Thank you. You brought her up. I will quickly have her dressed her up.", she stated.

She took Amber from me and walked to Amy's room.

I also went inside my room and wore a pair of black jeans and a red polo tee. Though it was a bit cold but I knew I would be fine.

My phone rang. I picked it up.

"Boss it is ready.", Dante stated.

"Good. I am going to the backyard. Keep it in my room.", I said as I cut the call.

I came out of my room to see the door to Amy's room was still closed. I went downstairs as Dominic stood there. He passed me a wide a wide grin.

His annoying behavior was really pissing me off.

Soon Amber and Rain came done. Amy was also wearing a red cardigan with white leggings just the difference was that her cardigan had a turtleneck.

Dominic looked at me and smirked. I knew why he did that but I ignored it.

"Shall we?", Dominic asked as Rain nodded her head as we started making our way to the backyard.

"Stand next to the house.", Dominic stated and we did. I picked up Amber in my arms while Rain held on to Coco.

"Say Dominic the great please.", Dominic stated as Rain giggled.

"Shut you and click the photo before I break your teeth.", I yelled.

He nodded his head as I heard the snapping sound of the camera of his phone.

"You know what Rain if it should have been me instead of brother then the photo should have looked perfect.", Dominic stated.

"Really..", I stated as I cracked my knuckles and made my way to Dominic.

"Peace brother. Peace.", Dominic stated making the sign of peace.

I hit him behind his head as he groaned and pouted like a baby.

Rain laughed as she took Amy's hand and went inside.

Soon it was time for Dominic to leave. He was here just for a day. So he brought no luggage and just a bag.

"You should have stayed longer.", Rain stated.

"Next time. I promise.", Dominic stated.

"Come here love.", Dominic called Amy. Amy went to him without hesitation.

Dominic took out a pendant and clasped it onto Amy's neck.

It had 'A' written on it and a small symbol of flame. It was indeed beautiful.

"You are fire. Let others burn for you and with you as you blaze for them.", Dominic stated as he kissed Amy's forehead who was busy admiring the pendant.

I know Amber didn't get a word but it was fine.

After this Dominic left.

I closed the door as I sighed.

I turned to Rain who was sitting on the couch with Amber on her lap. It was 3 o'clock.

"Rain I need to take you somewhere so can we leave Amy at Naomi's place?", I asked Rain

"They aren't in town.", Rain stated.

I nodded my head.

"Zoe. Heather.", I called and soon they both came out.

"I want you both to take care of Amy in our absence.", I stated as both of then nodded there head.

"Damien, Amber never had been left alone.", Rain argued.

"When you were unwell it was Zoe and Heather who took care of her. Also we will just be gone for an hour.", I stated.

Rain frowned as she thought for a while and finally she agreed. I was very happy that she agreed to these terms and I could take her out. I myself didn't like leaving Amy alone but I had to take Rain out. I had to do it today or tomorrow and the earlier it is done the better it is.

"Just see if you want to take your phone.", I told Rain as she nodded her head and made her way upstairs.

I also quickly went upstairs to my room and took that small brown box and put it inside my pocket.

As I went downstairs I saw Rain standing next to Amber. She was telling her something most probably not to trouble her caretakers.

"Shall we?", I asked as Rain nodded her head.

"She is going to be fine alone?", Rain asked.

Instead of replying to her. I bent down in front of Amy.

"Our Amy is a strong girl and I think she can be by herself for one hour.", I stated as Amy nodded her head.

I kissed how forehead and Rain did the same thing.

I heard a small bark from the back and I looked behind to see it was Coco who was looking at us.

"Yeah Coco you are a brave boy and I totally believe you will be able to take care of Amy in our absence.", I stated as Rain chuckled.

"Take care of her.", I stated as both of them nodded there heads.

Once I thought everything was settled. I took Rain's hand as we walked outside of the mansion, a car was waiting for us. I took the keys from the driver.

I opened the door for Rain and once she was settled, I went to my side and sat on the driver seat. I turned on the engine as the car roared to life and soon we were on the roads.

"Where are we going?", Rain asked.

"Patience love.", I stated.

Soon we reach the place.

The cemetery where Rain's parents slept.

"Damien why are we here?", Rain asked a bit nervous.

I didn't reply to her rather I took her hand as I went inside the cemetery. It was empty. No one was there today and I was glad about it would have given us more privacy than I wanted. Soon we were standing in front of Rain's parent's grave.

"Damien...."

I cut her as I turned in her parents direction.

"You already know why I am here. So I don't need to explain things to you.", I stated.

"Damien what on Earth is happening. I need to know it right now otherwise I am leaving.", Rain threatened.

I got down on my knees as I presented the small brown box.

A gasp left Rain's mouth as I opened it.

"Will you marry me Rain?", I asked her.

But she didn't give me any reply.

"I won't give you any vows because I don't want to be limited by words. The only thing I can say is that I will give everything I can. All happiness that comes my way and take away all grief that comes your way. I know this is no ideal location to propose someone but I wanted to do it in front of your parents specially in front of your dad because you hold him so close to your heart. So in front of them with them being the observers I ask you, will you Rain Carter become Rain Black?", I asked.

"If I say a no then?", she asked.

I smiled at her.

"Then I will wait for you through our mortal eternity till the time you don't say yes to me. Neither you are going anywhere not I am going anywhere. We have a long way to go, so take your time. I won't force you to do anything.", I stated.

"I will become Rain Black.", she stated.

I smiled as I slid the ring in her ring finger. I got up and kissed her passionately.

"This is the best way you could have proposed me.", she stated and I felt relieved.

She eyed the ring.

"It is beautiful. Simple and small.", she stated.

"The blue diamond in the middle shows you and the two diamonds on the side in the shape of stars are your parents.", I stated.

"Why is Amber or you not in it?", she asked.

"Because my love, Amber is with us forever and same is with me.", I stated.

"Won't you show your ring to your parents? I think they would love to see it.", I stated.

She nodded her head. As she turned the ring in the direction of their graves.

A soft breeze blew.

"Thank you."

Both Rain and I said it together.

I took Rain's hand as we started walking out of the cemetery.

Suddenly my phone rang.

I looked at it to see, it was from Pear.

Why was he calling me right now? I thought.

I picked it up because I knew it had to be urgent.

"Boss, the Rosa's have assassinated everyone in the house. Also Ms Amber is missing and a note had been left on a puppy's dead body."
