Badder than any bad boy
➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖
Bad Boy. He was bad. He smoked, he broke the law, he drove too fast for his own good. He didn't care because no one taught him how to. But when it came to her, he wanted to be the best man. He couldn't bare the thought of her being hurt by him...or by anyone else. He would kill to protect her, the girl who cared about someone as worthless as him in all her perfection. And she called him "Her Demon".
What a wonderful morning we're having, right? Well, let me tell you how it became so wonderful. Last night after Jac had dropped me off, I was literally standing in the foyer when the doorbell had rung.
"Stefan" I greet with a grin.
Stefan nervously stuffs his hands in his pockets with a boyish grin.
"I don't mean to intrude, I-I just couldn't wait any longer" He confesses only causing my confusion to grow. I furrow my eyebrows.
"Wait for what?" I ask before Stefan pulls me to him by my waist. He leans his head against mine.
"Maria, there's no time of the day where I don't find myself thinking of you. You run circles in my mind and I couldn't bare the thought of anyone swooping in and taking something that I never even had the chance to cherish" Stefan states sincerely with his eyes closed.
"What I'm trying to say is, Maria will you be my girlfriend, officially?" He asks gazing down at me through his dazzling green eyes.
I lean up and connect our lips in a slow passionate kiss before slowly pulling away. I open my eyes to see Stefan still has his eyes closed as a grin forms on his lips.
"Does that answer your question?" I smirk smugly.
"I believe so" He sighs breathlessly.
And I've been thinking about it ever since, and not to mention his sweet good morning texts. Ugh, what is this boy doing to me. My sister totally loves Stefan and supports us all the way as she quote on quote "loves interracial couples", but I digress.
Speaking of Stefan I'm actually on my way to his house right now to steal some food, kiss my boyfriend, and greet the Demon.
"I'm not saying she shouldn't date the guy, I'm just saying they should take it slow" Bonnie defends.
"You, Jac, and I are the ones who said to go for it. You, being first on that list!" Elena exclaims whilst throwing her hands up in frustration.

"Yes, now I'm saying they should take it slow" Bonnie nods in agreement with her statement.
Elena sighs in frustration.
"I still don't see what the big deal is! Why should they take it slow?" Elena questions from behind Bonnie.
"Maria's in a relationship for the first time of her high school career, other than you know who, I just think she played the field, now it's time to slow it down" Bonnie explains with mock sincerity.
"That's a bullshit answer and you know it, Bon. Now can you just tell me what's really going on?" Elena scolds before pleading. Bonnie sighs.
"I accidentally touched Stefan, and I got a bad really" Bonnie finally blurted out.
"Really, are you really talking about that whole witch mojo thing?" Elena scoffs in disbelief.
"Look, I'm just concerned. This is me being concerned for one of best friends new boyfriend" Bonnie flashes a believable smile.
"And I know she loves you for that, but if you really think there's something up with Stefan you need to tell her before they get too serious" Elena advises giving Bonnie a reassuring squeeze on the shoulder before heading off.
Bonnie huffs before doing the same.
I have just arrived at the Salvatore Boarding house and I'm about to knock on the door, but as soon as my fist touches the door, it swings open revealing the one and only, Damon Salvatore.
"Aria! Back so soon?" Damon exclaims with a smug smirk.
"Of course, Demon. You couldn't possibly think I wouldn't be back here anytime soon" I smirk back just as wide. I brush past him as I walk through the door he was holding open.
"So, what brings you here?" Damon asks curiously as he closes the door.
"To steal some food, see you, and visit your brother" I list off as I wonder around the room.
"Interesting" Damon muses.
"I've heard some...news, about you and my brother" I say as I follow her into the kitchen. As we're walking my eyes trail down her back to her ass. She's Stefan's girl, she's Stefan's girl...who am I kidding?
That's never stopped me before.
"Hello, Damon!" Maria yells trying to get my attention.
"Huh?" I raise an eyebrow in confusion.
"The news you heard" She reminds, but I still can't seem to get my mind off her a-
"Oh yes, I heard my brother finally confessed his undying love for you" I mock a loving gaze. Maria scoffs while pushing me playfully. She rolls her eyes.

"Yes he did, and who confessed their undying love for you?" She teased with a playful smirk. I mock a hurt expression as I grab her hand and place it on my heart.
"Oh, you wound me, Aria!" I exclaim before clasping on the couch, causing Maria to break out into fits of laughter.
Her laugh might be my new favorite song. I could listen to it all day.
"Well, I'm off to see your handsome brother" Maria grins skipping to the staircase.
"Hey! What about me?" I shout after her with a pout. She pauses before looking back to me and playfully rolls her eyes.
"You're handsome too, you Demon" She winks before running up the stairs.
"You know it, babe!" I yell in response. I lean back into the couch with a sigh.
"Welp, I'm fucked"
I make my way to Stefan's room to hear the shower going. Well, I might as well just wait. I flop down on his bed with a heavy sigh. I take out my phone and scroll through my social media as the door to the bathroom opens, presenting Stefan Salvatore in all his shirtless glory.
"Hey, babe" I greet as I sit up straight. Stefan grins before he walks to stand between my legs.
"Hi, angel" He gives me a small peck before sliding his arms around my waist.
I think I just died a little inside. Which is ironic, because that's exactly what I felt when I touched Stefan, cold, loneliness, and death. But, I shake it off nonetheless.
"How was your morning?" Stefan asks while pulling away to grab a shirt. I shrug.
"It was okay, until I read your texts" I smirk with a raised eyebrow as Stefan's face flushes a bit.
"I just couldn't stop thinking about you" Stefan mumbles while looking away with a blush. I gasp dramatically.
"Is the Stefan Salvatore blushing over moi?" I giggle when his face gets darker. Stefan rolls his eyes before a grin grows on his face.
I raise an eyebrow in curiosity as I cross my arms. Stefan takes slow intimidating steps toward me, his grin never faltering. When he's finally standing in front of me he stops.
"What are y-" I was cut off by the shrieking of my voice. Stefan was tickling me and I was laughing so hard I couldn't catch my breath.
"S-Stop, Stop!" I continue laughing uncontrollably.
"Say your sorry" Stefan smirks, his fingers continuing their movement.
"Never!" I shout just as a another bubble of giggles erupted. But, soon the tickling turned into a painful clench.
"Are you sure?" Stefan could tell it was starting to get to me. But, only continued smirking.
"Okay, okay. I give" I say completely out of breath. I hold my hands up in surrender.
Stefan stopped tickling me and wrapped his arms around my waist whilst pulling me to his chest.
"I bet you enjoyed that" I smirk with a double meaning.
"Oh, I sure did" Stefan says playing along.
"You, perv" I tease. Stefan gasps.
"I am no such thing!"
"Hey Bon, Lena" I greet walking up to them.
"Hey, Maria" Bonnie and Elena greet, though something seems to be off. I look to Elena.
"We're still on for this weekend, right?" I ask Elena pointedly with a raised eyebrow.
"Yes, Definitely" Elena's weird nervous vibe changed to bright and happy in a few seconds as she nods with a grin.
Bonnie looks between the two of us.
"What's still on for this weekend?" She squints her eyes suspiciously at me.
"All in good time Bon, all in good time" I smirk at her in return. She responds with a slight glare.
"Well I must be off to class, see you later girls" I wink before strutting off in the opposite direction.
Elena smacks Bonnie on the arm. Bonnie yelps in pain, she turns to Elena with a glare.
"Ow, What the hell was that for?" She shouts while rubbing her arm.
"Why didn't you tell her?" Elena hisses. Bonnie rolls her eyes.
"It's clear she doesn't care about what I have to say" Bonnie exclaims stubbornly. Elena rolls her eyes.
"If this is about me and her meeting this weekend, it has nothing to do with you" Elena places her hand in Bonnie's shoulder. Bonnie looks up at her.
"But, it should. I'm your best friend!" Bonnie storms away from her. Elena throws her hands up in defeat.
"Ugh, fuck my life"

The Power of Ten: Book One: Sama Rantha, and Book Two: The Far Future
(Author's Note: If you're wondering about the views, it's +1.8 million more on Webnovel, its original home. Updated daily starting Dec. 26, 2018, and continued with Book Three.) Some time ago, a planes-traveling archmage made up a video game to train some people on the planet Earth for the catastrophe he knew was coming. That game was the Power of Ten. The gods seized this opportunity to take the templates of some of those characters, and even their souls, for use in other worlds, and other realms. Sama Rantha is one of those characters, and is going to find out that being a Hagchild and having to survive after your Hag Curse fails to murder you at birth is much, much less fun than setting it as your Race at level One on a gamescreen. Join Sama Rantha on her Road to Ten, and letting her Hagmother know exactly what she thinks of her... ------ Warning: This book starts with a HARD OPEN! It was written as an extension of other stories that have not made it onto the Internet yet for National Novel Writing Month in Nov/2018. Book One/Sama Rantha: A traditionalist LitRPG in the fantasy world vein. The beginning chapters will be heavy with gaming terms and the supporting math as Sama exploits the rules as much as possible, minmaxing her heart out to get one up on the world trying to kill her. The math and rules lawyering tapers off, but are never eliminated, as Sama is going to do everything she can to exploit the rules of reality here and not die, while making sure those responsible for this get exactly what is coming to them... ------ Book Two, The Far Future (starting Ch. 286): The Warp, the final frontier; in the grim darkness of a galaxy far far away, there came a hagchild...QX! Sci-fi/Fantasy/psionics mashup, grimbright clashing with grimdark! Sama is sent into a setting she'd rather not be in, but the heart of a powergamer never says no, even in the crapsack galaxy of the Tellurian Empire. BOOK TWO IS COMPLETE WITH 357 CHAPTERS AS OF 9/2020. ----------- Book Three (updating daily): The Human Race (next Book!) - Urban Fantasy world. Three Power of Ten gamers come together in a world under the Shroud of the Cancer of Death. Whatever might happen when they do, and what might they find there? Book Three is complete with 500 chapters: right here. Book Four: Power of Ten is dumped into the Marvel Universe. Surely there'll be no changes to canon when that happens? Storm
The Storm started six months ago, and no one knows where it came from. All they know is it hasn't stopped for a single day, and you better follow the one rule: Don't go out in the rain. Hiding in the broken building of her old high-school, seventeen-year-old Marylou is one of the few to have survived this far. She doesn't believe in the Ghosts -- shapeless creatures said to roam under the rain outside -- but, to be fair, she doesn't really believe in anything except booze and the unconditioned love of her ball python snake, Evil Noodle. Chance brings Marylou together with Amy, a mysterious girl with an even more mysterious past, and Dean and Ray, two young men running what they call 'the last pizza place in California'. As the Storm rages on stronger by the day, the foursome will have to make a choice: keep hiding under roof after roof, waiting for starvation, or set out to the road and face whatever hides out there, under the Storm.
