Nakul was fuming in anger as he heard about Dhristyadym going to Dravida with his marriage proposal for Drisana. How dare he! He knew Nakul and Drisana loved each other. It was in front of him that Yudhisthir asked for Drisana's hand from Balaram and Vasudev. How could he even dare to think about Drisana? All Nakul wanted in that moment was to kill Dhristyadym. He wasn't able to stop himself and came to Dravida to meet Drisana. What he saw and heard after coming here, made his blood boiled.

How could she do that???!!!!

How could she even think about it???

Nakul never thought Drisana would betray him like this. He stood frozen as he watched Dhristyadym leave. Drisana was alone now, lost in thoughts. Nakul went to her without wasting a moment. He didn't care if someone saw him. He wanted answer. Answer as to why Drisana chose to betray him and his brothers like this.

"Nakul!" Drisana whispered his name as he jerked her towards him.

"Why?" Nakul asked.

"What are you talking about? " Drisana asked in a shaky voice. She had a very bad feeling that he heard everything. If so, how was she going to explain it?

"I heard everything, Drisana. No point in pretending. I never thought you can do something like this. How could you? How could you betray me like this?" Nakul asked holding her close from her arms. His eyes were red and glistening with tears.

"I will never betray you Nakul. Whatever I do, it's for everyone's welfare." Drisana whispered. Her eyes were teary too. There was no going back now.

"Welfare???!!!!!!! Everyone's welfare???!!!!!!!!!!! Which welfare are you talking about? Whose welfare is going to happen by this?" Nakul shouted at her. This was the first time he ever raised his voice on her.

"What's the point in telling when you won't believe anything I say? When you're questioning my love, my dedication to you? When you're doubting my intentions? Why should I explain when you won't accept it?" Drisana shouted the last part. She knew there was no point in explaining anything right now.

"I can't believe this. After what I just heard, you're going to tell me you did nothing wrong?" Nakul asked gritting his teeth.

"I never claimed to be a saint. What you heard is not wrong. But have you stopped to think what maybe the reason behind it? I told you Nakul, I don't have the same sense of Dharma like you and your brothers. But I love you and I'll always stay true to my love." Drisana said as tears slipped from her eyes freely. She was hurting not because he was angry. He had every right to be. But she was afraid of losing him, that fear was hurting her.

"You want answers? Then come when you're ready to accept them." Drisana said wiping her tears and calming a bit. It wasn't his fault he reacted like that. Anyone in his place would react like that or much worse.

Afterall, he had just heard Drisana give a promise to Dhristyadym that could take the life of the man who was like a father to him.

Who made him what he was today.

Whom he owed everything he learned.

Who was God alike for him, his Guru, Dronacharya.

Dhristyadym had come to Dravida for Drisana. He had known since the moment he saw her that she was not any ordinary girl. He wanted her from that moment only. Not as a man wanted a woman, but rather as a warrior wanted a weapon. Things got complicated when he got to know about her association with Nakul and Pandavs though. It was a hurdle in his path. So he waited for the perfect opportunity. And he got that when Maharaj Drishadvat refused to make any alliance with Hastinapur.

But he was unaware, Drisana knew to turn opportunities in her favour.

As Dhristyadym came in Dravida with the marriage proposal, Drisana suspected his intention was something else other than the marriage. On top of that, she was in a tough place as Maharaj Drishadvat owed Maharaj Drupad for saving his life once. He could not refuse him for the proposal unless Dhristyadym himself backed down. So Drisana called him outside the Palace to know his true intentions and prayed her suspicion was right. It would be a disaster if Dhristyadym proved to be some creepy obsessed lover.

"What a surprise! Rajkumari Drisana herself called me to come to her." Dhristyadym said chuckling.

"I didn't find your mental state much stable. So thought the fresh air outside the Palace will be helpful for you." Drisana said with a blank face.

"Now what to do? Anyone is bound to lose their mind seeing you." Dhristyadym said smirking.

"Very poor attempts." Drisana remarked. "Your words and actions doesn't match Dhristyadym. A woman can distinguish the gazes that follows her. And you don't gaze at me as a man would gaze upon a woman he wants. Not really. Yes, it's an attractive package with me being the Rajkumari of Dravida. But your calculative gaze was upon me even before you knew who I am. So it's not because of that. So the question is, what is it that you really want from me?" Drisana asked coming straight to the point. Dhristyadym was surprised. He hadn't anticipated her to doubt on him.

"What can it be? I want to marry you because I've fallen in love. That's it." He said hiding his surprise.

"Fine. If you want to keep pretending, carry on. But let me tell you, you're not going to gain anything by this. My father maybe bound by his gratitude, but my brothers are not. They can make you dissappear like you never existed. That if Nakul spares you first. You will never get the chance to become a groom." Drisana said smiling sweetly at him.

"Woah! You're threatening me? You think I'll be afraid by that?" Dhristyadym said in amazement, raising his brows.

"No. That's not a threat. I was just stating a fact. You and I both know its only truth." Drisana said confidently. Dhristyadym felt nervous seeing her confidence. He had already received an indirect warning from her brothers. So, she wasn't completely baffling.

"You have two options Dhristyadym. Either stay stubborn and don't tell me what you want. In that case, you'll lose not only whatever you came here for but also create an enmity between Panchal and Dravida.

Or you can back down from this foolish proposal and tell me what you want. Maybe we can work out a deal that will be benefited for both of us.

Choice is yours." Drisana said crossing her arms over her chest. Dhristyadym was thinking hard. He didn't want to lose. He needed Drisana's help. There was no way without her. Only she could help him.

"Pasha." Dhristyadym replied finally. Deciding it was best to go for the later of the two choices.

"I want Yamapasha."

Drisana's eyes widened and mouth gapped open in shock.

Yamapasha!!! Yamraj's weapon that binds the soul and extracts it from human body?

Her mind got to work after staying numb for a while and she understood what was going on his head.

"You want it to kill Guru Dronacharya. He can't be defeated as long as he is armed. So you want Yamapasha that will extract his soul from his body without fail and you'll take the opportunity to slaughter his body, so his soul can't return to it even after the Pasha releases him."

It would be an understatement to say Dhristyadym was shocked by her correct assumption.

"How do you know?" He asked staring at her.

"Because Panchal Naresh hasn't forgotten his revenge and the reason behind your birth is Guru Drona's death. Moreover, he is the only enemy of Maharaj Drupad that can make you desperate enough to get Yamapasha." Drisana stated.

She was still confused though.

"But how can I help you in getting Yamapasha?" Drisana asked. She needed to see the full picture before striking.

"There is a temple near Malyavat mountain. Yamraj was killed by Mahadev there when he came to take Rishi Markandey's life and also was restored to life later. If Yamraj is called from that place, he is bound to respond and bless a wish. But the problem is the place can be opened by someone who is from Suryakul, meaning who is a direct descendent of Suryadev." Dhristyadym explained. Wheels were turning in Drisana's head.

"And I'm a direct descendent of Suryadev as I've his heat and warmth." Drisana concluded.

"Yes. I suspected that when I saw you for the first time in that hut with Pandavs. I saw the mark on your neck that was given by Suryadev. That's why I was keeping watch over you. And my suspicion was confirmed later by Vasudev revealing your identity." Dhristyadym replied.

Drisana was astounded. What the hell!!! As the full planning of his came in front of her, she started to laugh. She found it hilarious.

"Really? Seriously? Are you mad or you think me to be one? You thought by marrying me, you will gain Yamapasha? Like you would tell me to get it for you and I will?" Drisana asked controlling her laughter. But as soon as she completed another laugh escaped her at the thought.

"Well, I wasn't going to tell you why I'm taking you to the temple. And no one would have questioned me for taking my wife with me. Alliance with Dravida would have been only a bonus." Dhristyadym replied.

"You really underestimated me, didn't you? You maybe a mighty warrior, but planning and plotting isn't your thing Dhristyadym." Drisana said chuckling.

"You can tell me if you have a better one. I'm all ears." Dhristyadym said.

"Well. I would have if I was interested. I'm not going to help you in gaining some weapon that kills Guru Drona. The same man who Nakul and his brothers respect so much." Drisana said and started to leave.

"Think about it, Drisana. There must be something you want desperately too." Dhristyadym said. Drisana stopped and smirked. Dhristyadym couldn't see it because he was facing her back. Otherwise he would have know Drisana was more desperate than him.

"True it maybe. But you have no use for me." Drisana said looking at him casually.

"There must be something."

"I don't see anything."

"I want Yamapasha and I'm ready to do anything for it." Dhristyadym gritted out. That's what Drisana was waiting to hear.

"Anything?" Drisana asked. Her casual expression didn't change for once.

"Anything." Dhristyadym confirmed.

"Okay then. I will promise to get Yamapasha if you promise to always help me whenever I ask of you." Drisana said.

"What help are you talking about?" Dhristyadym asked suspiciously.

"You know I love Nakul and to protect Pandavs from Kauravs further planning, I may need your help. Don't worry I promise I won't ask anything that would jeopardise Panchal. But you'll have to help me in whatever I ask of you. And I don't think you should have any problem as Pandavs are your alliance too." Drisana said. As Dhristyadym was taking too long to answer contemplating it, she again said,

"Or we can simply forget about it. It is you who came till Dravida." Drisana turned to leave again saying so.

"Wait." Dhristyadym stopped her and as Drisana faced him, he promised,

"I promise I'll help you whenever you ask of me."

"Aren't you in too much hurry? We often lose our focus in desperation." Drisana said smirking.

"What do you mean?" Dhristyadym frowned.

"I haven't promised to get the Pasha yet." Drisana said. As Dhristyadym's frown deepened, Drisana chuckled.

"I promise I'll get the Pasha." Drisana made the promise, unaware of the fact that their whole conversation was heard by Nakul.
