《Unexpected Arranged Marriage》Epilogue

Timeskip (Wedding Day)
"Can't believe you're getting married in less than an hour," Jisoo smiled as she did some final touches on my hair. She had offered me to do my hair and makeup because she knows how fussy I can be. Plus, she had done it for me before when we were in college, so I already know how the outcome will be.
"I couldn't believe it either," I smiled looking at my dolled-up self in the mirror. "Are you nervous?" she asked once she was done with her work. moonwritesfics
"A little bit, yeah..." I nodded. "It's okay... I think it's normal to be nervous," Jisoo pointed out. "But one thing for sure, I can't wait for us to be cousins!" She excitedly exclaimed and hugged me which made me chuckle.
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. I gave permission for the person to come in.
"You look so beautiful, honey," mom said once she saw me in my dress. She choked up and was about to cry. "No... Mom, don't cry. It'll make me cry," I said as I tried my best not to shed any tears, at least not just yet. She then took my hand in hers. moonwritesfics
"I wish dad would be able to come back and give me away," I sadly expressed and mom tightened her grasps. "I wish he was here too, dear. But you know how his job's nature is," mom gave me an apologetic smile and I nodded understandingly.
"But you'll be giving me away, right?" I asked and she beamed with a glowing smile. "Of course, baby," she nodded and hugged me tightly.
I felt my heart was getting heavier as my eyes started to get teary. I let go of mom and quickly grabbed a tissue and brought my face to look up to the ceiling, preventing the tears from flowing down my cheeks. moonwritesfics
I quickly used the tissue and dabbed it to my eyes to absorb the excess moisture.
Not long after, there was another knock on the door. "Come in," I said and the door was slowly being opened, revealing Namjoon in his suit and tie, looking smarter and more formal than he'd usually do.

"You look beautiful, y/n-ah," he complimented me and embraced me into a hug. "Thank you, Namjoon-ah," I said as I replied to his gesture. "Well, I hope you're ready because it's time," he broke off the hug and gave me his dimple-showing smile. moonwritesfics
"Hey future sis in law! You look extremely beautiful," Irene winked at me and grabbed one of my hands in hers once me and my mom arrived at the entrance. She was already waiting there with her father. "You look stunningly beautiful as well, Irene," I gave her a compliment while showing off a big grin.
Canon in D started playing once Irene and I got into cue to walk down the aisle. Irene will be the one walking out first. Our grooms were already waiting at the altar, looking as handsome as ever. moonwritesfics
Irene had reached the altar after her dad gave her away. She was now already holding hands with Tae. It was my turn and a sudden wave of emotions came rushing in my system.
I don't know why, but I was extremely emotional. Most probably because my dad wasn't able to come and witness one of the historically life-changing moments in my life, whereby I will finally be someone's wife.
My heart pounded crazily once I saw y/n walking down the designated path towards me. She looked intoxicatingly stunning as ever. I felt tears were starting to build up in my eyes but I tried my best not to let it fall.
All eyes were on me and my mom now as I walked with her towards the altar. I shifted my sight towards my future husband, Jin, and I could see his eyes were glossy and it indirectly made me feel like tearing up once again.
Mom gave me a peck on my cheek before giving me away. Jin held my hand firmly as he helped me take the step walking up the platform. moonwritesfics
Once everything was settled, the minister started the ceremony.
Taehyung and Irene started with their vows and rings exchange. Followed by me and Jin's turn. Everything was going on smoothly.
"Before we go further, is there any objection by anyone in this room?" The minister openly questioned. moonwritesfics

"Wait!" someone shouted.
Everyone turned towards the man whose voice echoed through the silent hall. Whispering chatters blasted throughout the space as everyone was confused by the sudden stoppage.
"No... It can't be," I mumbled but tears finally escaped my eyes effortlessly. Without even thinking, I left my groom and I quickly made my way towards the person. I jogged a little since I couldn't run in my dress. I hugged him and sobbed hard in his embrace.
"You made it!" my voice was muffled onto his chest. moonwritesfics
"I wouldn't miss it for the world, sweetheart," dad said as he caressed my back.
"Don't cry, baby... You'll ruin your makeup," he giggled and helped to dab off my tears with his handkerchief which made me let out an airy chuckle. I sniffled and he smiled at me. "Let's get you back to your groom now, shall we?" he suggested and I nodded.
The pianist started to play Canon in D again which took me by surprise. Everyone was silent now since they could figure out who the guy was. moonwritesfics
Dad handed me to Jin and he even got the chance to say something to my future husband.
"Jin, I really hope that you will take good care of her like how me and her mother did while raising her," dad said rather firmly but I could tell that he was trying his best not to choke on his words.
"Don't worry, sir. I will," Jin gave a reassuring smile. moonwritesfics
Dad kissed my temple and let me go. Although I felt like crying, it wasn't as emotional as before. His presence had brought me a sense of relief. If tears were about to roll down my cheeks now, it would be tears of joy.
"Well, obviously, I didn't object to the wedding," dad clarified out loud before he made his way to his seat which made everyone in the room laugh. I shook my head and let out an airy smile at his dorky behaviour.
Dad hugged mom and kissed her forehead once he got seated next to her. Mom on the other hand, pinched dad's arm playfully and scolded him for making a dramatic entrance.
"If there's no other objections, we shall proceed with the ceremony," the minister announced.
"Kim Taehyung, do you take Bae Irene as your lawfully wedded wife?" the minister asked Taehyung. moonwritesfics
"I do," he answered confidently and smiled at his bride.
"Bae Irene, do you take Kim Taehyung as your lawfully wedded husband?" The minister turned to Irene. "I do," she nodded with a grin.
Now, the minister turned to Jin and started with ours.
"Do you, Kim Seokjin, take Song y/n to be your lawfully wedded wife?" He asked. "I do," Jin nodded with a smile.
"Do you, Song y/n, take Kim Seokjin to be your lawfully wedded husband?" He asked me.
"I do," I smiled with a nod.
The minister finished off the procedure with a little more reading after he had declared each couple as husband and wife respectively.
Everyone was waiting and listening to every single one of his words patiently until he had reached the final sentence.
"Grooms, you may now kiss your bride," the minister declared after he had cleared his throat, hence, directly ended the ceremony at that very moment. moonwritesfics
Taehyung and Irene exchanged their kiss while me and Jin exchanged ours simultaneously. Everyone applauded and cheered with utter joy and happiness.
I smiled into the kiss and so did my husband. We broke off the kiss and looked into each other's eyes. moonwritesfics
"I love you, Mrs. Kim," he smiled lovingly. "I love you too, Mr. Kim," I replied and he beamed with a bigger smile.
We were about to walk off the platform and towards the exit. Jin suddenly leaned into my ear to say something. "Well, now I know that you got your funny side from your dad, huh?" he whispered, which made me chuckle at his statement.
"Yah! I'm my own person," I playfully whined and he laughed at my statement.
"I can't wait to have a lifetime of adventure with you," he smiled. "Me too," I said and we exchanged a quick kiss before walking out the venue.
