《Unexpected Arranged Marriage》Part 2

After hearing what my mom had just said, my eyes shifted to the girl. We were both still in clear shock.
"Wait a minute... Do you both, by any chance, know each other?" mom asked with a frown. "Uhh... Umm... I accidentally hit her with the door just now," I nervously spilled out.
"Oh my, are you ok, y/n-ah," mom immediately went to her future daughter in law, checking if she's hurt. moonwritesfics
"It's ok, Mrs. Kim. I'm fine," she smiled at mom. "What's with the formality? Just call me Aunty... or Mom. Whichever you feel comfortable," she said to the girl with a sweet smile but that look vanished once my mother turned to me. She shot me a deadly glare. "Apologize," mom instructed.
"I-I did..." I argued but she didn't budge. "I'm sorry again... Y/n, was it?" I apologized.
"It's ok. Really, it's nothing," she insisted.
"Is it still ok if I go out to get some air," she asked for mom's permission. "Of course, dear. Taehyung is still on his way," mom nodded at her.
My heart was beating rather rapidly trying to comprehend what was happening. I was initially happy when I finally got to see the guy that I had a little crush on, after going through various kinds of efforts that ended up with unfruitful results. moonwritesfics
But getting to know that I was going to marry his brother instead, was really mind blowing. What is the universe trying to do?
I think I can't really put my hopes too high because the fact that he didn't reveal to his mother that we've both met some times ago was already a clear indicator that he didn't want people to know.
I pushed the door open once again and made my way out of the place. I looked around for a proper spot to take a seat but there weren't any benches or chairs available nearby.
However, my sight landed at the bus stop right in front of the restaurant. I walked there and sat myself down. I took a deep breath and ran my fingers through my hair, a little devastated.

'How the heck am I going to continue with all of this?' I groaned inside my mind.
A wave of thoughts and future visions came rushing through my mind. I gazed towards the road, looking at the not-so-busy traffic. I inhaled deeply and buried my face in my hands. A voice was heard from my right side, which made me look up at the person rather instantly. moonwritesfics
"Hey, y/n," Jin greeted. He was standing not far from me with a smile. "Not running away, are you?" he chuckled. I shook my head impulsively.
'I can't believe he remembered,' I thought. I still couldn't mutter any words out loud.
"My brother is here already. My mom asked me to come get you," he explained. "Oh, yes. Sure," I mumbled, remembering the main purpose to why I was here in the first place.
I couldn't believe my eyes when I got to see y/n again after so long. I'd be lying if I say I wasn't happy about it. I was ecstatic! But I have to control myself knowing that I'm about to get married soon. moonwritesfics
She had been on my mind ever since that encounter of ours at the supermarket. We clicked almost immediately. To be honest, I have never felt connected to someone that much up to that extent, especially when we have only just met.
I was regretting every day that I never had the chance to ask for her name nor her number. It was so spontaneous that I couldn't believe the time I spent with her had ended so fast.
I wanted to go to the supermarket again, in the hopes that I might accidentally cross paths with her, but everytime I wanted to do so, there would always be something in the way.
Most of the time, I would be tied up at work. And when I finally had the free time, mom had already set up a date for me to meet my future wife. From that day on, I have completely dropped the thought of being able to see y/n.

However, I felt scared when I could feel my heart pounding when my eyes met hers.
'No, Jin! She's going to marry Tae,' I told myself. moonwritesfics
"Well, are you nervous?" he asked while we were walking towards the main door. I don't know why but I somehow still felt a little weirded out about everything. "Umm... I don't know," I answered him.
"My brother doesn't eat people. So you don't have to worry," he gave a reassuring smile.
We got to the table and a young gentleman stood up from his chair and bowed a little at me with a smile. "Y/n, this is Taehyung," Jin introduced the man to me.
I smiled nervously at the charming, good looking man. moonwritesfics
Taehyung, however, had this aura that I couldn't really figure out yet. I didn't feel the comfort I had like the time when I first met Jin. Well, maybe because this whole setup was already nerve wrecking, so the stress present was manipulating the whole situation.
The guy gestured to me to sit. Not just any guy. He's my future husband, so I should really get used to it. And so, I was now seated opposite him. Jin, on the other hand, took the seat next to his brother.
I looked around the table and there was one extra seat left right next to me. Perhaps they had accidentally booked extra for my dad. Well, my dad couldn't make it because he had to travel due to work. He's in the military. So I guess the table is considered full now. moonwritesfics
My eyes wandered around the room while avoiding the eyes of the two men who were sitting right in front of me. I can't seem to gather much courage to look at them. Not just yet. I was still anxious.
"So, y/n, what do you do for a living?" Taehyung asked when the others were busy looking at the menu. I forced myself to look at him. I could feel my cheeks were getting warm just by our eye contact. I could also see that Jin was now looking at me as well.
"I'm a programmer," I answered and both of their eyes went wide. "Really?!" they both exclaimed at the same time which made them look at each other, amused by their simultaneous reaction. moonwritesfics
"Where? I mean, which company are you working at?" Taehyung shifted his gaze at me again. "I work at Nexon," I replied and their jaws dropped. "THE, Nexon?!" Jin's face beamed with excitement and I nodded to his question.
"Well, why didn't you tell me bef-" he said but then stopped immediately without finishing his sentence. Taehyung cocked an eyebrow up, looking a little too suspiciously at his older brother. "Umm... nevermind," Jin shook his head trying to end the topic there but Taehyung chuckled.
"I think my very matured older brother here is just excited because he plays tons of video games," Taehyung explained as he playfully nudged his brother by the arm. His brother glared at him instantaneously.
I felt a little at ease when I saw that they had become more relaxed and playful. "So, what game-" I wanted to continue with the conversation but someone interrupted.
"Hi... Sorry, I'm a bit late," a young woman's voice was heard and everyone turned their head towards the source of the voice. "Got a little caught up at work," she smiled. She was extremely beautiful. Even I myself was intoxicated by her beauty. moonwritesfics
"Hi, honey," she said and gave a kiss on Jin's cheek. I didn't realize my mouth suddenly went agape. I know I shouldn't be feeling like this, but my heart did shattered a little by the view I had just witnessed. Mrs. Kim stood up and gave her a warm hug.
My eyes followed her figure as she then made her way and took the seat beside me. "Hi, I'm Irene."

Open a door to what you might know or not. Learn to dream in my unhealthy abode. Start from the garbage since that’s the place where I belong. Welcome to Raccoon’s abode. Breaking Horizons: Breaching the Fourth Dimension. A slow story that will take you on a ride towards the unknown. PS: Will make things clear here. The actual main character is a human, the raccoon is a pet for the novel. So it isn't a raccoon Isekai or reincarnation as a raccoon. I still haven't added it to the story, as I am currently doing the intro. A long intro! So the start might feel off when you read it. The story will include many genres but starts with psychological stuff and low fantasy. The whole story is an enormous puzzle, but it starts with a tiresome beginning for many. There is a reason for that... If you want to know more about this story check my discord: https://discord.gg/rZs6mem You can ask what you want to know there. Or join a bigger and cooler server where many authors hang out: https://discord.gg/2hbvq8B (Its dungeon engineer and many cool stories' server) This is my own story, so its for me only. On one particular Sunday, though, Mabel couldn't help but watch the man leaving Herman's office with a critical eye. He reached a hand down to help her up, but Mabel swatted it away, standing on her own and scowling. "Don't call me 'Little One,' Death." She fired back, crossing her arms and straightening her back to look taller. "And, besides, you're the one who told me your name was Death, so what else am I supposed to call you?" The raspy growl that rolled from his throat didn't sound anything like a chuckle, but the slight smile on his face told her otherwise. "Aleron." ******He brings death to those deemed wicked, but sees her as an angel and vows that nothing will harm her under his watch.Highest Ranks: #1 in Littleone 8/7/2019#1 in Mystical 8/25/20; 9/2/20; 9/11/20; 6/13/21#1 in Mythical 9/25/20#1 in Devil 5/16/21#1 in Heaven 5/20/21#4 in Paranormal 8/25/20#1 in demon 8/7/22
