《Knock, Knock》Seventy-seven

I lift myself on my elbows, my eyes landing on the sleeping beauty beside me. I smile and lean over capturing her lips. "Happy birthday, baby" I mutter against her lips, knowing she couldn't hear me. I stretch my arms and legs before getting out of bed. My eyes land on the sleeping girl once more before I head into the restroom.

I brush my teeth and fix my hair. Yawning into my hand, I realize today was going to be a very long day. Especially since I had planned to go out with Casey tonight. I couldn't let her beat me for 'best gifts' given on a birthday. Albeit, nothing could possibly amount to the ring resting on my finger, but I had come up with a plan.

A very good one. Exiting the restroom, I notice Casey on my side of the bed. "Why are you up so early?" she questions, eyes too tired to remain open. "I have things to do."

Casey groans, "Stay in bed with me. I promise it'll be 100% better than whatever it is you have to do." Chuckling, I approach the girl still lying in bed. I place my knee in the bed, causing her eyes to open slightly as she eyes me. I press my lips against her temple, "Go back to sleep baby" I mutter.

The girl frowns, "Kathryn get back into bed!"

"I can't" I laugh, pushing her hand away from my leg. The girl pouts, "Please?"

Smiling, I shake my head. I move her hair from her cheek, kissing her once again. "Go to sleep, okay?" With a sigh, the girl closes her eyes, giving in to my request. I can't help but smile at her as I force myself away from the bed. I can't even make it to my living room as I feel arms wrap around my legs.

"Casey put me down" I laugh, slapping her bareback. She ignores my pleas, taking me back into the bedroom. The brown-skinned girl lays me down onto the bed before climbing on top of my body. "Baby--" I start but she cuts me off. "No Kathryn. I don't care what you had planned for today. As the birthday girl, I say we stay in bed and sleep."

I smile at my girlfriend. "Well can you at least get off of me? You aren't exactly light."

Brown eyes land on me, pondering her decision. She sighs, rolling off of me and laying beside me on her back. I take in a deep breath. "Now go to sleep" she demands. I smile and nod my head, plotting my escape. I close my eyes for a few seconds, expecting the beauty beside me to fall asleep first.

I hear her swallow before she moves closer to me. With her face buried near my ear, it becomes harder to move away. The minute I move, she'll wrap her arm around me and keep me pinned in bed. "You are beautiful, Kathryn."

My eyes widen as I glance at Casey. "Why so sudden?" I question.

Her deep brown eyes meet mine. They venture away from my eyes and to my lips, tempting me to lean in and capture hers. "I feel like I haven't told you enough. Like I've been slacking from our first date. I just really want you to know you are so beautiful to me and I love you so much."

I glance away from the girl, feeling my heart hammer against my ribcage. I've heard her say it so many times, yet somehow hearing those words fall from her lips always seems to make my heart go crazy. "Shut up, just go to sleep" I groan turning away from the woman.

Casey wraps her arm around my waist, pulling me closer. Her soft lips press gently against my shoulder blade.

"Edwin you're supposed to come in unnoticed" I hear Casey's voice in my living room. I squeeze my eyes tight, not wanting to wake up. It was Casey's fault I was too comfortable to leave the bed. "I apologize. I saw her near the office and had to make sure I wasn't going crazy. It's not like you'd ever tell me 'Hey Eddie, buddy, keep a watch out for Bella my ex.' And I'm supposed to be your best friend Casey."

I frown as I realize there was no point in trying to go back to sleep. I was up. And half of my day has been washed away by sleeping in. Sighing, I force myself out of bed. I throw on one of Casey's tee shirts and a pair of my shorts. Yawning into my hand, I exit my room spotting three familiar faces.

Bella notices the hickies sporting my neck. She raises her brows before her eyes land on Casey. "Hey, Edwin" I greet the brunette. He waves with a kind smile. "I see you decided to stay in, were you guys keeping your neighbors up all night?"

Blushing, I glance away from the three. Casey chuckles, "That's definitely none of your business. Anyways Bella, what exactly are you doing here?"

"Well, if I'm not wrong either today is your birthday or it's tomorrow. I thought it would be a good idea to hang out. Just the three of us like old times, maybe invite Ross and Duke."

I glance at my girlfriend as I chug some orange juice. Who the hell is Ross?

"That's a name I haven't heard in years, whoa. You still keep in touch with him?" Edwin questions glancing at the Hispanic. Bella nods her head with a cheesy smile. She loops arms with Casey causing me to furrow my brows. "Let's hang out Casey, it's your birthday."

Like Casey was really going to allow that to happen when I was still here. "Sure." Frowning I eye my girlfriend in confusion. "Tomorrow. Today my girlfriend gets me."

Bella scoffs, "Can't she have you tomorrow? You guys practically see each other every day. What if Ross is busy tomorrow? And it would be your fault you didn't get to see him because you want to celebrate your birthday with someone you live with."

This girl is getting more and more unbearable by the second. Even if Casey and I see each other every day, I'm her girlfriend. It's different in any case. Sighing, I approach them. I rest my hand on Casey's back, ignoring the glares I received from Bella. "Baby go out with your friends. I'll be fine. We already wasted half the day sleeping. I'll celebrate the whole day with you tomorrow."

Brown eyes land on me in sadness. I smile at her, "I'll seriously be fine. Just try to be back before 1 AM, otherwise, I'll be going to bed lonely."

She nods her head. Bella smiles in victory, angering me. If I hadn't stepped in and persuaded Casey to hang out with them, her mind would not have been easily persuaded by the teen. She needed to be grateful I wasn't a bitch who didn't allow my girlfriend to have fun.

Casey exits the living room and heads into my room to get dressed. I part from the two teenagers standing by the door, making my way into the kitchen. When I look up again my eyes land on the brown-skinned girl entering the den. She was dressed in a baggy shirt and green cargo pants. I involuntarily moan as I stare at her.

Smiling, Casey turns towards me. "Are you sure?" she questions once again. And just like before I nod my head, wanting for the girl to be happy and hang out with her friends. I didn't want her wasting her life away because she wanted to stay with me so much. My eyes land on Bella who was obviously enjoying the sight of Casey as much as I was.

I couldn't blame her, but she needed to get one thing straight. And that was that Casey is MY GIRLFRIEND.

"Kiss me before you go" I demand. Several pairs of eyes land on me. Edwin clears his throat, "I'm gonna go wait in the car. Please don't take too long."

I nod my head, pulling Casey into me before Edwin and Bella can escape my apartment. Casey's hands instinctively grip my waist, closing any possible gaps between us. The girl dips down, immediately capturing my lips.

I smile into the kiss as I feel her hands trail down my hips and cup my ass. Pulling away, I take her bottom lip captive before letting go. The girl smiles, leaning back into me with a low moan as she captures my lips again. No one should be this experienced in kissing, especially when she's only just turned 19.

Casey moves away. It takes me a few seconds to notice the line of saliva from her lips to mine. Laughing she pulls away, wiping her lip. I quickly glance towards my door, noticing Bella finally taking her leave. "I'll see you in a couple of hours" I dismissed the curly-haired beauty. She salutes playfully before running after her friends and leaving me in the empty apartment.

I get into the passenger seat of Edwin's car. "You really kept in touch with Ross?" I question the girl in the backseat. She crosses her arms over her chest, "You think I would lie about keeping in touch with him?"

I don't say anything as I wait for a reply. Edwin immediately notices the hostility in the atmosphere and clears his throat. "Can I get an address? Or should I go ahead and get Duke first?"

Bella doesn't answer causing the brunette to nod his head. He starts the car and we set a course for Duke. Once we get there, Bella and I are the only two to get out of the car. Edwin remains in his seat, texting my sister. Sighing, I make my way towards the door with the dark-haired girl following behind.

Before I can knock, the door opens exposing a similar face to Duke's. I bite my lip as my eyes unintentionally creep over Diana's frame. I can't help but smirk, Cane sure is lucky. "You like what you see?" Diana questions wrapping her arms around my neck and standing a tad bit too close.

"I do," I say causing the blonde to smile, "Where'd you get this outfit? I bet Kathryn would look so much sexier."

Diana tilts her head back as she laughs. "You're a fucking asshole Casey. There's nothing wrong with admitting to one's beauty" she spits before her sea-blue eyes land on Bella in confusion. She opens her mouth to speak but we're interrupted by Cane.

Her eyes watch over both of us possessively. She wraps her arm around her girlfriend, slightly tugging her away from me. "Who's your friend, Casey?" the white-haired girl questions with a teasing grin.

Friend? I glance at Bella with annoyance. "She's not my-- we're here for Duke. Where's he at?" I question the sister. Diana finally pulls away from me, "In his room. I'll go get him. And happy birthday Casey."

My lips pull into a wide grin, "Thanks, Diana."

The blonde walks back into the house with her girlfriend hot on her tail. I turn away from the door, my eyes landing on Bella who was already watching me. She frowns, "You always get close to your female friends, like that?"

Smirking, I shake my head. "Is your girlfriend okay with you getting all touchy-feely with her? Or does she not know?"

I glare at the girl, my patience for her running thin. "Isn't that cheating, Casey?"

"How about you shut the fu--"

"Bella? Holy shit! I haven't seen you since freshman year!" Duke's voice cuts me off. I glance at the blonde, happy he came out when he did, otherwise Bella would've gotten her feelings hurt. The girl smiles as she welcomes Duke in for a hug. The two remain in the position for a few seconds longer before the boy pulls away.

Rolling my eyes, I scoff at the two. "C'mon let's go" I hiss at the two, making my way towards the car. "Shotgun!" I hear causing me to frown. "Like hell you're forcing me to stay in the backseat with her" I growl but before I can continue my walk towards the car, Duke is standing beside the passenger door. He smirks and gets into the car.

I have no choice but to get into the backseat with Bella. As we get into the car, Edwin gives us his attention. "So, are you ready to tell me Ross' address?" the brunette questions towards the dark-haired girl beside me.

The girl doesn't speak. She only opens the car door and scoots over towards me. I frown, "What the hell are you doing?" I hiss, scooting closer towards the door. The girl ignores my attempt to move as far away from her as possible. I open my mouth to complain but we're all startled when a body gets into the car.

Green eyes crawl all over us before she smiles.

"Uh... you are?" Edwin questions. The girl smiles, "You all probably remember me as Ross. I go by Rosita now." My brows shoot up in realization. Ross was no longer Ross, she was much prettier. Almost as pretty as me. "Holy fuck! Now we're outnumbered by girls, Rosita, you've failed us" Edwin jokes.

We all laugh. Rosita smiles, "I- thank you. I kind of expected only Casey to be accepting of me, this is surprising."

Duke and Edwin shake their heads. "It's taken me a while, but I get the concept of the LGBT community," Duke spits his eyes landing on me with a smile plastered on his chapped lips.

Rosita glances between Bella and I. "So you two are together again, right? I totally shipped you guys in freshman year. Please tell me you've gotten over your differences."

Edwin and Duke turn towards the front, allowing me to handle the situation. "Oh no! I have another girlfriend, her name's Kathryn." I smile and glance out the window at the thought of the brunette I left back at home. "The love of my life" I mutter.

Green, Brown, and Blue eyes land on me. Damn, did my gay just slip? "Whoa, I have never seen you so whipped for someone. At least not like how you were with Bella. But I mean this version of you is so much more whipped."

Bella claps her hands together, "Can we just drive?"

- - - - -

We all arrive at the bowling alley. Edwin wraps his arms around my shoulders, "I'm on Casey's team!" Duke and I burst into a fit of laughter, remembering last time how the brunette lost miserably. And now that he know's if I team up with Duke, no one stands a chance against us. "Well, this game would be unfair if there are 3 people on a team" Bella points out the obvious.

I nod my head, approaching the girl. I shove my pointer finger into her chest, "That's why you're going to sit out because we all know you suck."

Hazel eyes land on me menacingly. Bella slaps my hand away. "You're talking big shit Casey, did you forget I was the one who taught you how to bowl? If it wasn't for me you'd be just as bad as Edwin."

Edwin immediately takes offense. "I let you think you were teaching me. I felt bad because you kind of sucked" I defend my skills.

"Qué tal si hacemos un pequeño juego y decidimos quién es mejor?" the Hispanic girl hisses. I bite my lips in confusion. I wonder if she knew we didn't speak the same language. "If I didn't know any better, It sounded like she just challenged you to a game."

Smirking, I pinch her cheek. "Game on, baby" I tease. Bella rolls her eyes at my comment, once again slapping my hand away. "Pinche puta."

"Pinche cabrona," I remark, feeling glad that I know just a lick of Spanish.

Bella groans pushing me away as she walks over to an empty aisle. I follow behind her, a smirk on my face. "You can go ahead and start us off, I'll practically be game over if I go first." The girl sighs flicking me off. I wrap my hand around her finger, making the movement of jerking her off. She blushes and quickly averts her gaze.

I'm definitely going to win this.
