《Knock, Knock》Thirty

"Ow," Casey hissed pushing me back a little. I frown at the girl before taking notice of her bleeding lip. "I'm sorry baby" I coo before taking her bottom lip between my teeth and sucking on the wound lightly. Her eyes meet mine as I move away. Finally, the elevator door rings as we step onto our floor.

I reach into my purse for my keys when I hear noise coming from Casey's apartment. I stop in my tracks and glance back at the brown-skinned beauty. Her cheeks were red in embarrassment. I raise my brows and chuckle lightly. I head towards my apartment, just in time to hear moaning.

Not again. "Hey, would you like to go out on a walk or something?" Casey spits. I don't have time to answer as she grabs my hand and pulls me away. We get back into the elevator, retracing our steps until we make it outside. I can't help but laugh at the situation. I glance at the girl, taking in her appearance for the nth time today.

My eyes scan over her face, noticing the small spark of excitement. Her brown eyes meet my own and she smiles. "What?"

I shake my head and glance away. Taking a walk was probably a bad idea. Especially when I had a stalker now. Who's to say Rai isn't somewhere around the corner trying to get pictures of us together for his 'proof'. I frown and glance over my shoulder, to see if my theory was correct. I sigh in relief when I don't spot anyone around.

"What's wrong?" Casey questions, her luscious voice bouncing on my eardrums. My head snaps in her direction. "Nothings wrong. Are we going to walk?" I question. She eyes me cautiously, almost as if she's reading me. Time stops moving for a few seconds as she takes a step too close. Her hand cups my cheek, her eyes pull me into her.

"Hey, if you're paranoid about Mr. Rossen you don't have to keep that from me" she whispers in the softest tone. I could feel my heartbeat slow to a soothing rhythm from hearing those words come from her. "I'll try my best to keep you safe when I'm around."

I smile at her reassuring words. "I don't think it's best to walk. He could be anywhere and we would overlook him if we're not careful."

The girl nods her head. She pulls me over to her car, unlocking the doors. I get into the passenger side and close the door. Casey gets into the car as well. We sit in silence for a few minutes before she glances over at me. "Let's talk. I don't exactly want to go anywhere but I know for a fact that I like talking to you."

I smile smugly at her words. I could see the instant regret in her face. I chuckle and set my things down between my legs. "How are your grades?" I question.

Casey frowns and eyes me. "Never mind you're the worst person to talk to right now" she jokes with a short chuckle. I roll my eyes but wait for an answer. If there was one thing I knew about Casey Kings, it's that she takes her grades seriously. Casey sighs and glances away from me. "I'm passing all my classes."

I nod my head, as to be expected from Casey.

I could feel the tension growing between the two of us. The last we'd spoken to each other was our date which was weeks ago. I turn in my seat, facing the brown-skinned beauty. She really had lovely skin that almost seemed to sparkle under the sunlight. Once again I soak in her beauty.

Her curly hair was pulled back and out of her face into a low messy bun, exposing the light freckles that were scattered over her face. How had I not noticed before? Her thick and naturally arched brows furrow as her brown eyes land on me in confusion. "Your eyes aren't brown" I spit. The girl raises her brows in confusion.

"I mean, obviously they are, but they look redder in the sunlight."

"Your way of describing is really cute."

I frown, "How would you describe it then?" I question. Casey shrugs, "I don't know. I don't particularly look at my eyes the way you do. You're bound to see something I won't because you have a different perspective."

I guess they had a valid point. "Then, what about my eyes?"

The girl glances my way before looking out the window. "They're breathtaking. People usually always complain about having brown eyes because that tends to be the color of poop. But I think people with brown eyes tend to be luckier."

"How so?"

"Brown eyes are like honey. Honey is sweet and damn near irresistible. I could look at a person who had your same face but with blue or green eyes and it just wouldn't be the same as looking into brown eyes. They pull you in and soak you in warmth and mystery and wisdom that you just don't find in any other color."

I smile at her answer. She was definitely intelligent. "Do you plan on going to college?" I question. She nods her head. "Major?"

"Psychology and English." Smart girl. "Why not history?" Casey's brown eyes land on me as she smirks. "So I can be just as boring as you? No thanks." I can't help but laugh at her joke. Touché.

I take my eyes off the girl and take notice of a few people entering the building. "What are we?" I find myself questioning the brown-skinned beauty beside me. I keep my eyes out the window, awaiting an answer. I could feel the tension thicken. So much so, you probably couldn't cut it with a knife. No, you'd need something stronger.

After a few seconds pass I glance over. Casey seemed deep in thought. Would it be too much to say I was in love with this girl? I blush at my own thoughts. In love? I scoff at myself, there was no way. I'd only known her for a few months. Is being in love possible after such a short time?

"Honestly," Casey mutters. She eyes me, "I don't like labels. I'm not saying I don't want to be your girlfriend but I don't want to label what we are. Why can't we just be two people who like each other and often times makeout?"

"Because then someone else can claim me as their girlfriend. Would you like that?" I question with a smile.

"Like you'd let that happen. You gave Mr. Rossen hell before he tried to force himself. That man's been trying since he met you. Even with your friend Cane, she's been trying for years and yet you're still single and still mine."

"Yours?"

The girl nods her head. "But I'm single? That's... you teens today are really funny" I let out a low chuckle. "And what should I say when I'm asked if I'm in a relationship?" Casey smirks, "You simply tell them you're in a situationship."

"You want me to say I have a booty call?" The girl laughs and shakes her head. "A situationship doesn't just refer to a booty call. It's an undefined relationship."

"Oh so I'm not only just a booty call, I'm undefined" I joke.

Casey laughs and leans over to kiss me. She stops midway and bites down on her lip, completely aware of the fact we were visible from 6 windows. Anyone could see us kiss. And that anyone may include Rai Rossen. I could see the hesitation in her eyes, prompting herself to just give in. She lets out a breath before sitting back down, only encouraging me out of my seat.

My lips press against her own sending a spark of arousal through my body. The curly-haired girl scoots her chair backwards, giving me the accessibility to straddle her lap. My arms wrap around her shoulders, our lips never parting. I feel her hands trail from my waist down to the back of my thighs resting on the cuff of my ass.

I part from the girl to catch my breath when she unexpectedly brings her lips to mine once again. I can't help but laugh as our lips continue moving in synch. Her tongue pushes past my flesh and I invite her in willingly.

Her tongue moves against my sensually only furthering my excitement. My hands find a way to her hair tie, undoing it and tangling my fingers into her curls. I feel a squeeze on my rear which causes me to pull lightly on her hair. Involuntarily my lower region begins grinding into the girl, causing friction between my legs.

A moan finds its way out of my voice box and into her mouth only increasing the sexual tension. I finally pull away to gather oxygen when Casey's lips find themselves on my neck instead. I groan as I feel her suck roughly on my skin. "Case, you're going to leave a mark" I hiss at the girl beneath me. She pulls away for a second, her tongue running over the bruised skin.

"That's the point" she mumbles before moving to another exposed part of my neck. I roll my eyes, not bothered enough to fight back. Makeup exists for a reason.

"You're not going to fool anyone with those weak cover-ups" I hear. I frown and turn towards my best friend. I hadn't noticed until this morning that the bruises Casey had given me were darker than I'd expect. She really wanted people to know I was off-limits. "I tried my best, okay" I hiss. She shakes her head and pulls me into the girls' restroom.

We startle a few girls who immediately scurry out of the restroom. She sets her purse down onto the counter and fishes out her own foundation. I pout. "This takes me back" I mutter. She wipes off my poor excuse of a cover-up with her makeup remover wipes. I watch in silence as she places a drop of foundation onto the back of her hand.

She dabs her makeup sponge in the foundation before her eyes land on Casey's masterpiece. "You should be more careful about these things. I know you two are excited to be talking again but, this isn't professional here."

I pout and nod my head as I feel the coolness of the foundation on my skin.

We remain in silence as she does her handy work. Once she's done I take a look in the mirror, smiling once I see no dark spots. "You're a lifesaver Em" I admit. I know that if I hadn't gotten the help I would've been lectured about my appearance.

The blonde smiles and pats my back. "I love you too Kathy. Now get to class and don't you dare be late."

I nod my head. I salute the woman and head towards my own classroom, spotting two figures in front of my classroom. I groan as I take in Mr. Rossen's posture. I could tell the air around them was thick with hostility. I clear my throat the closer I am to them. "Good morning, is there something I can help you two with?" I question unlocking my door and entering.

Both Casey and Mr. Rossen follow behind me. I glance at Casey, wanting an answer from her first. "I was coming to see if you'd like to have lunch together this afternoon" Rai speaks up instead. I clench my jaw and glance at the man. Did he really think it was that easy?

Casey glares at the man. "Unfortunately, I've already made plans with Mrs. Evans" I dismiss the man. He shrugs his shoulders, "I can join you two. Call it a date. See you then," He dismisses himself. I watch him exit my classroom, my eyes unfocusing on the spot he was just in.

The bell ringing is what brings me from my stupor. I sigh and begin getting ready for my class, totally oblivious to Casey's presence. I was too focused on how Emily and I would avoid Rai at all costs. I wasn't comfortable with him at all. I feel a hand on my own, snapping me from my thoughts.

"Hey, don't think about him. Try to have a great day, alright?" I nod my head. I inhale and let Casey's word float in my head. Try to have a great day. The girl moves in front of me. "If you get stressed, just think about me. I'll try to check on you when I can," she finished with a quick peck on the lips before walking out of the classroom.

Though Casey didn't want to admit it, she was an amazing girlfriend.
