《Something About Him (boyxboy)》15.

It was finally Friday, the day that Oscar had been anxiously waiting for all week. He stood in front of the full-length mirror in his room and straightened his collar. He was in his usual clothes, made up of Vans, jeans, and a flannel over a grey t-shirt.
His phone dinged and Oscar picked it up from the bed.
Noah: hey, I'm outside
Oscar: okay, be right there
Oscar slid his phone into his pocket and looked at himself in the mirror one last time before descending the stairs. He passed the family room and saw his mom sitting on the leather couch, staring at her computer screen. He saw the door of his dad's office closed, "He must be working late again."
He walked down the short hallway and out of the front door, but not before yelling, "Bye Mom!" and rushing to close the door before she had time to respond.
Parked on the curb, Oscar saw a blue Toyota Corolla. Noah was in the driver's seat and Jamie was in the back. That meant he would be riding shotgun.
They drove for around 15 minutes, until Noah pulled into a driveway on a street that Oscar had never seen before.
Nervously, Oscar asked, "Uh, is this where the concert is?"
"Yeah, cool isn't it?" Noah said.
The house seemed fairly plain on the outside, but on the inside it was comparable to a frat house. There was disheveled and broken furniture everywhere, and a pool table in the middle of the front room. The entire house smelled like booze, and a set of unkempt wooden stairs led down to the basement.
Oscar and Jamie followed Noah down them, and discovered that while the rest of the house was nearly empty, in the basement were at least 100 people, all tightly-packed together and dancing to the musical stylings of Hush Puppy.

Noah's face lit up. "Wooo!" he cheered as he grabbed both Jamie and Oscar by the arm, and pushed them into the crowd. They made it all the way to the front, closest to the band, and Noah and Jamie started dancing.
Oscar stood still. In the midst of being surrounded by dancing teens and great live music, all he could focus on was Noah.
How happy Noah looked, how his face looked in the dim lighting, and how his slender yet strong arms raised daintily above his head.
Oscar was smiling, probably wider than he ever had. Jamie moved over to him and shouted over the music, "What are you smiling about?"
"Huh? Oh, nothing. Just enjoying the music," Oscar said.
"Sure," Jamie said, and playfully punched Oscar on the arm before drifting further into the crowd.
He noticed that Noah was now staring at him, and we walked over. "Are you having a good time?" Noah asked.
Oscar thought for second. "You know what? Fuck it," he decided.
Oscar smirked, "I'm having great time," as he swiftly grabbed the back of Noah's neck, and crashed their lips together.
It was hesitant at first, but Noah started kissing him back.
Oscar heard Jamie cheering behind them and smiled into Noah's lips. He broke the kiss sloppily and asked, "Are you having a good time?"
Noah grinned and armed his arm around Oscar in embrace. "I'm having an amazing time," he replied.
Jamie appeared beside them and said "Yo guys, that was so cute! Are you two dating?"
"Uh..." both boys said at the same time. But they were suddenly cut off by the lead singer of Hush Puppy.
A very hairy man screamed into a microphone, "Who's ready to fucking rock?!"

Jamie raised her fists and yelled "WOOOOOO!" and moshed away.
Noah and Oscar looked at each other and laughed.
They danced the rest of the night, and when the concert was over Noah drove Jamie and Oscar home, dropping off Jamie first.
They pulled into the driveway at Oscar's house and Noah stopped the car.
"So," he said, looking over at Oscar, "I had a really good time tonight."
Oscar laughed, "Yeah, me too."
Oscar opened the door and stammered, "So uh, see you, see you later?"
"Yeah, for sure," Noah said.
"Alright, bye," Oscar said, getting out and shutting the door behind him.
Once he was inside, Oscar heard his mom's voice calling from the family room. "Os, is that you?"
"Yeah mom, it's me," he said as he made his way into the room. His mom was in her usual spot on the couch, with her computer and a glass of wine in her hand.
"Did you have a good time?" She asked.
"Yeah, I did. I had a great time, actually." He said, and smiled proudly.
"Oh really? That's great," his Mom said.
"Yeah well, goodnight Mom," Oscar said, and with that he went up the stairs and into his room.
He sat on his bed and sighed. "What a great night," he thought to himself, and it was only Friday.
