Oscar opened his eyes and wondered where he was. "This isn't my bed," he thought to himself. He looked around and realized that he was snuggled up against Noah's shoulder, holding his wrist tightly.
"Oh man," he said aloud. "What time is it?"
Noah stirred but didn't say anything.
Oscar released the other boy's arm and pulled his phone out of his back pocket.
4:00 AM
"Shit," he whispered.
He quickly stood up and went to the window. He hoisted it open and heard a soft voice behind him.
"You leaving?" He heard Noah whisper.
"Uh yeah, it's late," Oscar said.
"Okay, see you tomorrow. That was fun," Noah said, and rolled over in his bed.
"Yeah, it was," Oscar whispered, before climbing out the window and down to his car.
When Oscar was finally back in his bedroom, he got into bed and checked his phone.
There was a text from Noah.
Noah: I had fun tonight
Oscar: me too
Noah: we should play again sometime, you're good
Oscar: thanks for saying that but I'm shit lmao
Oscar: but you're right, I'd love to play again
Noah: ha ha, okay. talk to you later
Oscar: okay, goodnight
Noah: goodnight :)
Oscar locked his phone and put it on the table beside his bed. Falling asleep with a smile on his face had recently become a regular occurrence for Oscar, and tonight was no different.

The Artist & The Q.B.
Briar Roberts is a struggling artist who can't help clash with her best friends brother and Quarterback Truex Marshall. When Truex starts dropping hints of interest in her, Briar's vain attempts to keep him away are laughable. This is a pretty humorous story. One of my favorites that I have done for sure. Hope you like it! XO
