6 months later
The sun shines through the window. I yawn and sit up. Running a hand through my hair I look at the clock next to me. It read 8:15 am. Yup about time we woke up.
I rubbed my overly swollen stomach, "good morning baby. How are we feeling today?" Smiling I wait for a response and whenever I don't get one I slightly push down seeing if I could get a kick. Whenever it kicks back I'm oddly satisfied and throw my feet over the side of the bed.
Getting up I walk over to the corner of the room where my record player is. I think my setup with the record player is rather cute. I found a gold cart with three shelves and wheels at the goodwill. On the first shelf is the record player, and the rest of the shelves have books.
I put all my records in a wooden crate that is next to the cart on my wooden shelves. These shelves are wider but shorter than the cart that holds my record player. On the wooden shelves, I have my succulents.
I have six plants on the first two shelves, and the wooden crat goes tucked at the bottom of the shelf. Grabbing the crate I pull out my Lana record. Brooklyn baby starts playing whenever I put the needle down.
Smiling at the mood, I go to the bathroom shower with the door open so the music from the record play can be heard while I shower. After showing I change into a black shirt and some overalls with a fuzzy creme cardigan. The most comfortable denim Item I can wear.
Before going downstairs I water my plants and turn off the record player.
Downstairs I go to the kitchen and open the fridge. I pull out the eggs, cheese, and Spinach. In the mood for scrambled eggs, I prepare to make breakfast.
As I wait for the pan to heat up I cut up the spinach and put it into its own bowl, then I crack three brown organic eggs into their own bowl. Grabbing the glass container of milk from the fridge I add a few tablespoons to my eggs and began to whisk them with a fork.

I add my organic butter to the pan and spread that around with my wooden spoon. Finally, I add the eggs, spinach, and cheese. Mixing it all together I let it cook.
While it's cooking I pour myself some orange juice and washed some strawberries.
When the meal is finally ready I sit at the kitchen island. Looking down at my belly I ask, "are you, hungry baby? Now I would appreciate it very much if I could keep this meal down." After a quick rub, I shovel some eggs into my mouth.
By the time I am done with breakfast it's barely 9:30 am. I walk out to the front yard to grab the mail from the mailbox. As I am walking back inside I am stopped by Ms.Brown. An elderly lady in her 70's, who lives right in front of me.
"Good morning it is!" She yells from her front porch.
Turning around I smile and nod, "That it is!" I walk back over to my mailbox and cross the street, "Is there anything I can do for you today?"
"As a matter of fact, there is," she gets up from her chair and ushers me inside, "I have a few things that need to be dropped off at the post office. Would you mind dropping them off for me sometime today?"
I nod my head, "It's no problem Ms. Brown." she hands me a few envelopes and a medium-sized package.
"Thank you very much, darling. Oh, and I have something else for you. It's in the kitchen!" Smiling the old lady walked over to the kitchen where it was rather warm, "I baked pies!" she looked so happy I couldn't help but smile.
"Oh you did, did you?"
"Yes! And I made one especially for you! All organic, the apples come straight from my back yards, and I made sure all of the stuff I used was organic and friendly just how you like it!" she looked rather proud of herself.

"Oh, Ms.Brown you didn't have to!"
"Nonsense! You do so much for me as it is! This is the least I could do."
I take the little old lady in for a big hug, "thank you so very much!"
"You bring me much joy you do, oh and I can't wait for your little one to get here!" she touches my stomach and my heart just about exploded.
With the packages tucked under my arm, the pie in hand, and one last goodbye I left.
Before it got any later I went outside in the back and checked on all my babies. I water and pulled weeds. Even got around to putting some of the plants that I have in pots into the ground. It was a good gardening day.
By the time I finished, it was already noon. After cleaning up I had a piece of the pie. I graciously added whipped cream and a scoop of ice cream on top. I then go to sit on the couch for some tv time.
Whenever I get up again it's a little past one in the afternoon. I still needed to run a few errands so grab my purse, keys, and check my phone on the way out. I have a tendency to forget about the darn thing.
As the car cools down I scroll through all the notifications. Adeline transferred $700 into my bank as she did every two weeks. I haven't spoken to her in a while, but I make sure to send her all of the sonogram pictures. All the money she gives me goes into a college fund for the baby. I only ever keep what I need and that tens to be only $100.
My mom's wedding is soon and sent out the pictures of the dress she wants the bridesmaids to wear. She wants me to be her Maid of Honor. I don't know if I will be able to fly out. Hopefully, I will get to. I'd love to take a trip to new york before I have the baby.
With the car finally cooled down I put it in reverse and go on my way.

I get back home around 4. I dropped the mail off at the post office, went to home depot (absentmindedly got some new seedlings and fertilizer), and got a late lunch along with a snack.
Whenever I arrived back there was a strange car in the driveway, but there's always a strange something at this house. Whether it's people to cut the grass, or maids to deep clean. So ignoring it I got out of the car with the bag of fertilizer and seedlings in hand.
Going straight to the backyard, after dumping my purse in the kitchen and grabbing my hat, I didn't notice the luggage sitting by the front door. I began to put the seedlings in pots, and since it was a rather hot evening I gave the plants that needed it a bit more water.
Instead of turning on the water hose however I filled my water bucket and went around checking the plants. I was at the very back of the garden whenever I heard the back door creak open. At first, I didn't lookup.
I thought maybe the car in the driveway belong to the maid, but the more I thought about it it didn't make sense. The car was way too nice to be a maid's, and gardeners usually came in trucks. If it wasn't one of them, then who else was in the house with her.
This made her immediately look up and go into a panic, but who she saw before her threw her into shock.
