Christmas came and went. Just like that. Callie loves her presents, Tyler loved the AirPod pros, and my mom loved her purl earring with the matching necklace.

Now that Christmas is over I'm right back at Tyler's house. Especially since Trace said John could stay at the house instead of spending money on an hotel. Of course he gladly accepted the offer running me out the house and to Tyler's.

Now three days later here we are. I'm comfortably laying in his living room. The living room is really cool. There's a square hole in the floor and the couches are built into the walls of the hole. There are also three steps that lead down into the hole.

My phone sat in front of my face and legs were spread out on the couch, as I multi tasked watching tv and going through insta stories. Tyler was either outside riding his skateboard, or up in his room rolling a blunt. I can't quite remember if I heard him come inside or not.

Upon hearing the front door open and close, I figured he was inside now. Well that answers that question. Not bothering to sit up I continue typing on my phone. Just as I clicked add to story I heard to voices.

Setting my phone down next to the remotes I get up and make my way to the stairs. At the bottom of the stairs two people. Whoah. Two random strangers!

"Mom, dad, what are y'all doing here?" Tyler comes rushing down the stairs before they even spot me.

"We live here remember?" The lady, Tyler's mom speaks.

"Yes ma'am, but y'all didn't tell me you'd be coming in."

"It was a last minute decision son. We'll only be here for a few days then we're off to Paraguay." His father answers him.

Tyler comes down the stairs and stands in front of me as I insecurely cover my chest.

"And Who's this?" His mom finally takes notice of me. To say she's beautiful is and understatement. Her blonde hair flowed perfectly down her shoulders, and grey blue eyes are captivating.

I stood like a deer under headlights when Tyler moved and revealed me to his parents. His dad was even more intimidating. Strong jaw, curly brown hair, and green blue eyes. Damn, this whole family is gorgeous.

"This is, Grace." Tyler introduced me.

"Well hello Grace I'm Adelina, Tyler's mom," she offered me a big smile, "and this is Callum my husband."

"Okay enough with the awkwardness. We're going up to my room!" Tyler started to make his way up. I didn't say anything and just started following him up.

"Where's the butler?" Adelina asked Tyler on our way up.

"We don't have one. The house keepers only come three days a week and the chef is here from 11-1 and then 4-6."

"We don't have a butler why not?" Adelina turned to Callum.

"We don't need one honey. I'll grab the bags from the car. Tyler leave your door open!" Callum yelled up after us.

Tyler completely ignore him and slammed the door shut behind us, "I had no clue they were coming into town."

I shrugged, "it's good."

He sighed and picked up the blunt he rolled, "fuck I need this." He put it up to his lips and lit it.

"Your parents are down stairs."

"They don't care, " he takes a seat next to me on the bed and takes a big hit.

"They don't care?" I repeat after him.

He nods his head, "they don't care about a lot of things." He exhaled and took another hit before passing it to me.

I gladly accept.

A few hours later Adelina came up and barging in without knocking. Tyler and I laid on the bed both zooted. Slowly we both began to sit up as she went over and opened the window.

"God Tyler your room smells. Leave the window open and come downstairs for dinner." She turned to both of us and smiled clasping her hands together.

"Dinner could smack right now," Tyler began to get up. We were both slow as snails as we followed her down the stairs. Our goal was to not fall and slide down.

Luckily we got to the dinner table in once piece and sat down. Callum walked into the room a few minutes later.

"Oh honey, I think this is your phone. It was on the couch," Adelina slid me my phone.

"Yes, thanks," wow I really needed some water.

I didn't even notice when food was placed in front of us and our glasses were full. Everything seemed to be happening in slow motion. I looked around, what's going on again?

"So how did you and Grace meet?" the question was directed at Tyler.

"School."

"Y'all are in the same grade?"

"Yes, mom."

"I'm just asking."

I could sense her rolling her eyes. Ignoring the conversation in front of me I reached forward for my glass. Upon tasting the liquid inside I see it's not water and instead wine.

Wow, his parents really didn't care did they?

"It's white wine. If you prefer red I can get you some," Adelina directs her attention towards me.

I shake my head, "oh no, thank you though. This fine."

"Mom, we're only 18." Tyler shakes his head at his mom.

"So? It's just wine."

At this time I notice the food in front of me. Taking my fork I cut the meatLoaf and shovel some in my mouth.

"I didn't bother to ask if you were a vegetarian, but I hope the meatloaf is okay."

This time I nod my head, "it's perfect."

"Good, I'm glad you like it. Callum can you put down that phone?" She turns and scolds her husband.

"Sorry honey, just a few more minutes. I'm making sure our private jet is ready."

"I thought we were staying for a week?" Adelina's face begins to frown.

Callum looks up at her, "we'll talk about it later honey."

The rest of dinner was filled with casual conversation, and the clatter of silverware on dinner plates. Afterwards I helped Adelina clear the table. Somehow I was even more tipsy than before and didn't end up being much of any help.

After trying for a bit I went up stairs with Tyler who assured me his mother could handle a few dishes. Upon entering his room I collapsed on the bed.

"I have somewhere to be in ten minutes, are you going to be okay staying here?"

I nod my head at Tyler, "I'm about to crash. Have fun at your appointment tho." I smirk at him.

"Oh I will." He grabs his keys, kisses my cheek, then leaves.

Leaving the whole bed to myself.

"Good morning! Sorry to bug you, thought my son would be here." Adelina walks into the room the next morning. She opens the blinds and the window.

I internally groan and sit up, "oh um. He had to go somewhere."

She nods her head and takes that as an invitation to sit down at the foot of the bed, "we haven't formally gotten to talk."

I didn't know what she meant like that I let her continue on.

"What do your parents do?"

I rub my face, "I live with my aunt and little sister. My aunt is a nurse, my dads around, kind of, and he's an attorney."

"So your not after my son for our money?"

I'm taken aback. She thinks I'm after the money? "No ma'am."

She smiles, "just checking. You can't be too sure!"

I nod my head, "of course." I do get wheres she's coming from though.

"One more question then I'll get out of your hair. Are you pregnant?"

It takes all my strength to not let my jaw hit the mattress. Is she being for real?

"Mom! Why are you interrogating Grace!?" Tyler barges in.

"I'm not interrogating her. I'm just curious!" She stands up.

"Mom get out." He shakes his head.

"Okay but-"

"She's not pregnant!" He raises his voice.

Now this is awkward.
