"Are we going to talk about it?" I asked Terra. I sat on my bed while she sat on the thing at the end of my bed.

She shook her head, "I don't want to talk about it."

We have been sitting in silence for the past hour. The tv lightly hummed in the background, but other than that she just starred into space. I on the other hand wanted to talk about it. She threw herself on me not the other way around.

"Terra, I think we have to talk about it."

She groaned, "I wanted to experiment okay!"

My eyes narrow, "what do you mean experiment?"

"Like. With girls. Sure I've slept with guys but I've never slept with a girl," she said the last party quietly under her breathe.

"Why me, though?" I cross my arms.

"Because I was on acid. My brain got away from me and before I knew it I was already on top of you."

"Thats is? That's your explanation? You were on acid?" This just wasn't cutting it.

"Yes, Grace okay. That's what I'm giving you."

I shook my head, "no give me more. Telling me why you really did it. There has to be a reason. Why do you want to experiment all of a sudden? Last time I checked you were solemnly on dick."

This time she shook her head, "I can't tell you. At least not now."

"Why not? You can tell me anything."

"Not this though."

"Terra, just tell me," I laugh, "I cant judge you, you've seen half the stuff I've done."

She lets out a breathe, "don't be hostile."

"Um, okay? What is it?"

"I think, I um mightlikebrooke." She sped up the last part but I caught ever word. Along with the cough at the end of the sentence.

"Since when?" My words got caught in my throat.

"I don't even know. I just wanted to know what it would actually like if I do decide to peruse this feeling, but you and her have history."

I nod my head, "you could say that." Standing I walk out the room without another word.

I felt icky. The room felt yuck. The need of fresh air over whelmed me needing to listen to Terra anymore.

Walking outside I pace back and forth on my porch, only stopping when Terra yells out my window, "Grace get back inside it's kind of cold!"

I looked up at her. I slept with my best friend and she likes the girl that I could possibly be in love with. What the fuck is my life?

☁️☁️💙💙🥺🥺

School finally let out for Christmas break a week later. It couldn't have been any sooner either. Stopping by my locker I threw everything inside. I wouldn't be needing any of this anytime soon.

"Hey Grace. Any holiday plans?" Brooke walks up to my locker.

I shake my head, "not really."

"You should come to Christmas mass with my family and I. It'd be fun," we start to walk side by side out of school.

"I don't think that's the best idea," I lightly chuckle, "they probably don't like me after what happened last time."

She cringed, "I'm sure if they get to know you they'll love you."

I shake my head, "we'll see but as of right now," I began putting on my helmet, "the answer is no." I began walking to my bike leaving Brooke to shake her head.

Tyler stands up against my bike smoking a cigarette. He looks up at me, "finally." He smokes the last of his cigarette and throws it to the side.

"Finally? School just let out." I shook my head.

"Yah yah yah. Wanna go to my house?" He runs his hand through his hair pushing it back.

I nod my head, "yeah. I need to stop by my house real quick though."

Tyler nods his head, "okay, but I'm driving. He throws his leg over my motorcycle and turn back for me to give him my keys."

"You always drive." Sighing I hand him the keys and hop on.

"It's because I'm better at it than you." He revs then engine then speeds off with me hanging on tight.

The story of Tyler and I? Well we were always friends, just not close friends. But With no Bestfriend to talk to he was kind of there. This past week we got super close. I was able to talk to him about Terra and Brooke. He ranted to me I ranted to him, we instantly became closer.

Apparently him and Jackie had a thing, but she a hoe. Things didn't go so happily ever after. To get back at her I'm helping him make her jealous. By just hanging with me it's making her jealous.

Parking my bike in the driveway we hop off. Tyler walked into my house like he owned the place. I shut the door behind him as he walked to my kitchen.

"Is Callie home yet?" He loves my little sister more than he likes me.

"I don't think so," I walk into the kitchen to seem him sitting on the island eating a bag of chips. I roll my eyes and walk to fridge to grab a bottle of water.

"That's lame. What did you need to get?"

"A bag. I'm spending the night with you." I walk out of the kitchen with Tyler in trail. He follows me up to my room.

"Oh cool. We gonna party?" He throws himself on my bed, still munching on chips.

"I guess. I don't know." I shuffle through my closet throwing some stuff into my duffle bag.

"Yah yah yah we're going to party."

Shrugging I walk out my closet and throw my duffle bag at him. Walking around my room I make sure I have everything.

"Okay let's go."

He stands up with the bag of chips rolling them up, "mkay."

We make our way downstairs just as my mom is walking in with Callie.

"Tyler!" She jumped into his arms.

Tyler drops my duffle bag and catches her, "little monster!"

I face palm. We might never leave now.

"Are you going somewhere Grace?"

I nod my head, "I'm going to Tyler's. I'll spend the night there."

She nods her head, "okay. Text me when you get there."

I give a curt nod.

"Grace can we take her to go get some ice cream? Please!"

"Tyler. She doesn't need any sugar."

He gives me his puppy dog eyes, "pwease!"

My mom laughs, "y'all can have her all night if you want."

"No!" I shout, "we'll take her for ice cream and bring her back. That's it."

Callie threw her arms in the air, "yay!"

"We'll use the car," I go back to the kitchen and switch keys, "come on you rats."

We all walk out threw the side door leading to the garage, and get into my car -that I never use. Tyler makes sure Callie is buckled down in the back seat, then hops into the passengers seat.

I press the button that makes the garage come up, reversing out of the drive way, we make our way to the ice cream parlor.

"I want chocolate!" Callie jumps up and down in the backseat.

"Are you sure she needs more sugar?" I whisper to Tyler.

He shrugs on his phone, "hey let me snap this."

I stop at the red light and look at his phone as he props it up. He takes a video of Callie in the back seat and me speeding off at the green light.

"Still trying to make Jackie jealous?"

He nods his head, "the bitch sent streaks of hickies on her neck."

I parked, "don't even look at me for that one. I don't do hickies."

"Not even for your Bestfriend?"

I shake my head and unbuckle my seat belt, "especially not for my best friend."

He sighs getting out of the car. Tyler gets Callie taking her by the hand. Side by side we walk into the parlor. Callie lets go of Tyler's hand and runs up to the ice cream line telling the guy what she wants. He looks back at us and we nod.

"Why are you still stuck on Jackie?" I asked Tyler as we sat down, ice creams in hand.

"I don't know," he shrugs.

"You must know. Does she give good head or something?"

He laughs, "it's not that. We were a thing forever. Not officially though. Off and on. When we finally put a name to it she cheated on me. I don't necessary want her back, but I want her to feel how I felt."

I plop some strawberry ice cream in my mouth nodding my head.

We finish our ice cream with Callie and Tyler babbling on about something. After cleaning up our spot where we sat we begin to leave.

"Hey it's Grace right?"

I turn around. Aj has walked past me as we were walking in, "yes. Aj?" I question already knowing his name.

He nods his head, "Yah." I notice the two kids with him. The baby on his hip and the other one holding his hand.

"Are these you siblings?"

He shakes his head, "no they're mine."

My eyes slightly widen, "really?"

"Yes, they live with mom in town. I come and visit on weekends."

I nod my head, "well they're cute."

"Thanks. Is she yours?" He motions to Callie who is standing off to the side with Tyler.

"No, that's my sister."

"Ahh that's why she looks so much like you."

I nod my head, "yeah. It was nice seeing you, though."

"Nice seeing you to!"
