It's Monday, the weekend went by quickly, I get out of bed and go to the bathroom, I wash my face, breach my teeth and do my hair in a messy bun, after that I go to get dress, I pick the black skirt I buy recently with black blouse that has some details on, I do my make-up, put some earrings and shoes on then I make sure that I have everything I need for today take my jacket and I was ready to go.

I arrive to my work late because there was a traffic, I hope Ms. Stanford do not say anything. I quickly and straight forward go to my desk, loge in my computer and do some emails then I take Mr. Stanford schedule and go to his office.

I knock on the door and get in after I heard a tired 'come in', I frown at what I saw when I enter and couldn't help the ache in my heart for him, I prevent myself from going to him and hug him. He looks so much tired, so worn out, like he didn't sleep or worse sick, the tie is loosen around his neck, the first two button to his shirt is undone, his eyes look tired. God I hate seeing him like that.

"Good morning" I said softly and go to stand by his desk

"Good morning, you are late Ella! Again, I can't take that any longer." he said but I can't take my eyes away from his and I can't seem to focus because all my thinking is what he is doing here? He look sick, he is sick, he should go rest in his house.

"ROSEELLA.." my thought is cut by his voice , I blink to refocus but my mothe is having his own plan because the word came out from it before I can stop them, " are you okay? Should I cancel your meeting for today for you to go home and rest" I said with consore writing all over my face.

He look at me for a second before he answer "no, I'm fine, thanks for your concern but you have nothing to worry about."

I look at him in disbelieve and say " I know that is not my business but you need to rest and I thought I told you I don't like to be lied to, I'm not going to question you if that what you afraid of." I said the last part softly and look anywhere other than him.

I hear him sigh before he say " I don't need to rest because I have a small fever, I will be fine, don't worry."

" okay" I said but I don't believe him and he know it by the look in his eyes, " today you have a meeting with Ms. Luce for the Hawaii project, we finally manage to have a face to face meeting with him and its at 1 o'clock, also I want you to look over this files and there will be a party in this Friday for the opening of Mr. Raoul new project. " I told him, but what I didn't told him that he has three other meeting today, and if I didn't bring in all the files with me when I enter I would put them also for another day, but I couldn't because he will ask what those files for.

"Okay, thank you, is that all for today?" he ask

" Yes sir" I said

" Thank you, you may go now, and don't be late again." He said

I get out and get back to work or that what I intended to do but my mind go to Ms. Stanford every now and then. When the time is five minute to one Ms. Stanford come out from his office looking like any other day and if l have not just saw him looking like a truck has walk over him a minute ago I wouldn't know that he is sick or that something wrong, but I still saw the tired look he has it in his eyes before he mask it. He look at me when he was going and give me a small smile to assure me to not worry and he will be fine, I send him a smile of my own before he disappear.

It's been three hours since Ms. Stanford began the meeting, I'm so much worried about him, oh god, I hope he is okay, just as I was thinking that, Ms. Stanford come in and go straight to his office. I wait a minute before I go and knock at the door, I did not hear a replay at first but when I knock again he told me to enter. I didn't see him at first because I was looking at his desk, but when I look at the couch that he has it in his office I felt my chest tighten , he's lying on it with his arm above his eyes, one of his legs is on it and the other are on the floor, his suit jacket at the floor and his tie is loosen around his neck.

A gasp I didn't know that it came out from my mouth made him look at me. I didn't know what I was doing but when I saw him like that, I couldn't think, I quickly go to him and put my hand on his forehead to take it quickly because his temperature was so high, " oh my god, you are burning up." I said with worried writing all over my face.

I get up and take his phone, I did it all without braking eye connects with him and he was watching me without a word.

" What are you doing?" he asks softly.

"I'm going to call 911" I said but before I could put call, the phone has been snatch from my hand, I look at Ms. Stanford in disbelieve at what he did, " what are you doing?" I ask angry.

" I'm taking the phone back, I don't want you to call 911,it's not a big deal to call them it's just a fever, and I don't want the media to now about this" he said angry but I don't think he's angry at me but at the media for looking in his business. I take his hand and led him back to the couch, I was thankfully that he didn't take his hand away, and made him set down.

"Okay I won't, but you have to see a doctor, you are burning up" I said to him while I begging him with my eyes.

"I don't want the worker to now anything and I'm not going to the hospital." he said Stubborn.

I look at him then sigh, he should see a doctor, he has to, then a small smile make it his way to my lips, I take his phone back.

"What are you doing, I told you don't tell anyone," he said looking confuse, even if he's sick he manage to look handsome and he look cute when he's confuse, god I'm stupidly in love with him.

"I'm calling my sister, she is a doctor, she can come here to see you and nobody are going to question her and she won't tell anybody." I told him quickly with a small smile to assure him that it was okay, he relaxes after I told him that and return to his first position, the one i came to see him in, I'm happy that he trusted me enough and comfortable around me that he show me this side off him.

She answered after the third ring "hallo?" my sister Amber said more like ask.

"Hi Amber, it's me Rose, what are you doing right now?" I ask her.

"Oh, hi Rose, whose number is this? And I'm not doing anything Mason is taking the kids to eat ice crème, why?" she ask.

"Its Mr. Stanford phone, I want you to come to where I work, and bring your bag with you, now." I said to her.

"Is everything okay? Why are you so worried?" she asked.

"I'm going to tell you when you get here" I said to her.

"Okay, I'm in my way" she said before the call ends.

I look at Mr. Stanford to see him looking at me already. "she is on her way" I say to him softly while I try to not blush under his gaze, he look like he was going to say something but change his mind and return his sight to the ceiling.

I smile at him and go to his bathroom to see if there any cloth I can use to make his temperature go down, I look around the bathroom, until I found what I'm looking at, I take it and wet it with cold water and then get back to the office, but before I can make a step in it, I heard him talking to someone so I wait until he is gone.

"I will think about it James and will make you know my decision after I see the files that you just give me" he said with a cold tone.

I bet that he is wearing his mask of unemotional face and his clothe are perfect just so he can say 'come in' to James, without this guy James suspect anything is wrong with him; after he talk some more with James and another one come to ask about something else , he tell me to come out from the bathroom.

"What were you doing in there? And why you didn't you came out before?" he ask me, I was right about his position but he make the mask slip for now and loosen his tie.

"I was just grabbing a cloth and some cold water for you to make your temperature go down, but I put everything back because my sister is going to make her present known any minute now." I said to him and go to open the office door, just as I was opening it I saw Amber came out from the elevator. I go to her and hug her then I led her to the office.

"So what's wrong that you drug me all over here for?" she ask with a playfully glare.

"Well, my boss here is sick, he comes to work and he won't listen to me when I told him to go home and rest or at last to go see a doctor." I tell her with a smile and a glare to Mr. Stanford.

"I'm fine, I don't want a doctor to see me, it just a small fever." Mr. Stanford say to her with a glare and cross his arm over his chest. This man is stubborn, he won't admit that his sick.

I huff and shot him a glare, I was about to go out to my desk when he ask me "where do you think you are going?" and I think I saw a hint of fear in his eyes before it disappear as quickly as it came.

"Nowhere just closing the door so no one can came in." I assure him with a smile.

He seem to be stiff whenever my sister touch him, I send him question look, but he look away so we won't make eye connect, oh my god, he's blushing, oh he is so cute right now.

I look at my sister to see her still check him up silently, and when I look to my boss I saw him looking at my sister in an odd look, it's then that I realize that my boss, the cold mean man, the big bad alpha wolf is actually afraid from doctor's. Oh my god, I bit my lips to brevet my smile from making herself known, but from the glare I receive it from him I don't think I did a good job.

"okay" Amber say and our head turn to her direction, "its a fever, but, it's not a small one, you need to rest in bed and take the right medicine so we can make sure that you get better and hope that it goes down. I don't want to scare you, but if the fever did not step a side or begin to go down in two days you must go to the hospital." She said seriously then she look at me and then said, "It's a good thing that you didn't listen to him and call me or he won't be doing anything good to himself." She give me a small smile, and give my hand a small squeeze to comfort me because she the only one that know about my love for this idiot of a man, " I better get going now, and he better go rest ." she add before she get out and leave.

Now it's my turn to glare at him and shot him an angry look, all the time Amber was talking he was looking at his desk with his mask on.

"I'm going to go do some work, and you are going to grab your things and go to your home." I say to him angrily.

"Im not going." He said softly while he looking at something in his computer.

"You.Are.Going.Home.Now" I say every word with a glare, then add in a calming voice " you now if you didn't go right now I'm going to call your mother and tell her that her baby boy didn't take care of himself and he need someone to take care of him or else he must go to the hospital." Then add with a smirk "noooooow, we don't want that do we. The hospital has too many doctors for you, isn't it"; god I feel like I'm talking to a boy.

"I'm not a boy." He said with a glare.

"You are acting like one, you need to rest. Stop working and go home, please." I say the last part softly while I begging him with my eyes.

"God you are a very stubborn woman." He said

"Ha, look who's talking." I said

After a moment he sigh and began to gather his things while he say "I don't know who the boss here me or her, stubborn woman", I get out from his office with huge grin on my face and go to my desk to do some work before I have to go home.

He come out of his office looking good, he come to my desk to tell me good bay and to not worry, but of course I have to open my big mouth "take care of yourself, don't do anything that will make you tired, eat healthy food so you can be more healthy and get better soon, please."

"okay mom, anything else you want me to do?" he teased me.

I blush and mumble no while looking at everything but him.

"it's okay, I was just testing you, thank you for your concern, and don't worry I will do everything you say." He say while laughing a little.

"okay." I told him with a huge smile, god I love hearing him laugh.

After he go home I get back to work. when I finishedmy work, I get out and go to my car after a quick good bay to Sarah, all theway to my apartment I was thinking how Mr. Stanford is doing and if there anyone who take care of him right now.
