(This is kinda angsty)
It was around 10:42 pm and ponk was watching a movie while he was waiting for Sam to get home from the prison, about 13 minutes later he got a phone call he looked at his phone to see a name he doesn't see often it said "muffin" so he paused the movie and picked up "hey bad!" He said in a cheery voice and to ponk surprise he heard someone that wasn't bad on the other end "hello there ponk." the eggs raspy voice said on the other end, ponk perked up a bit in surprise "hello there egg I wasn't expecting to hear you on the other end..." he said a bit quieter and a little bit angery to which the egg responded with "whatever anyways I have your boyfriend. " It said, ponk almost dropped his phone "w-what?!" He said, instead of the egg bad responded with "you heard it." Ponk was surprised and just as he went to respond his phone died all that they heard was "BAD-?" Ponk noticed his phone died so he quickly ran to him and Sam's shared room and plugged in his phone, about 4 minute later ponk was on the couch drowning in his tears he cried for about 27 minutes then he heared the front door open assuming punz cause he was crying really hard and punz lived right beside them and the walls were pretty thin "h-hey punz..." He said in a quiet tone but to his surprise Sam bent down in front of the couch "ponky?" Sam said confused "Sam!?" Ponk said in a confused and happy/exited tone "hey ponky why are you crying?" Sam questioned in a soft tone to which ponk replied with "no reason Sammy! " He said in an excited tone as he sat up and patted that seat next to him signaling for Sam to sit next to him Sam sat down and ponk clinged onto Sam's arm Sam layed his head on ponks head and at around 01:16 am they ended falling asleep cuddling on the couch

Edit: I forgot to add that the plot is that bad and the egg lied that they have Sam so they could take ponk and put him under control of the egg

Things he found in abundance were such of violence, desire and gore while things he found in scarcity were such of love, friendship and glory. At the start of the path was a naive, green goblin while at the end of it... Well at the end of it stood him: the godslayer, the monster from the forest, the walking death... He had many names but none so that perfectly captured his image as well as the Mad King. Authors note: Edit: Trying to release a chapter per day, around 2-2.5k words each. An evolution story about a goblin. This is under lit-rpg but I'm focusing more on the plot/characters instead of the usual features of such stories such as the blue tables that take ages to make or the stat screens. The Devil King
This story is a Frame Story (story within a story), and as such will contain two summaries to denote both. Be it for good or for ill, the worlds will note the rise of something more. ***** Sarah, the Goddess of Iridescent Colours, is the Goddess Queen of the Terran Pantheon after marrying a being called the Ageless who is the God King of said Pantheon. However, after many a century of being together, and giving birth to their only child, she has come to suspect her husband of breaking the oldest laws set aside within the Universe. Tampering or re-writing a being's Story. Of which contains a being's everything; from birth to death, everything is written within their Story. Tampering with such books would not only mark the being, but cause the Librarians who take care of such items to fly into a rage and slay the perpetrator. However, with the Ageless being the fifth strongest being within the Universe, she doubts if she could find a Librarian strong enough to slay her husband for the crimes he has committed. How did she come to suspect him? Her own story contains many pages which were re-written, and the one who has access to it is both herself and her husband. Therefore, she searches for answers, and has been given the story titled The Devil King in order to find that which she desires. Even if the cost is to read the whole book before she could act fully.
