Beverly is leaving today and I feel like crying. I don't want her to leave. We walked to the bus stop with her as a group and I held her hand all the way there. I didn't even get to confess my feelings for her. But maybe she knows since we always hold hands and fall asleep together and blush whenever we do any of this.

I think maybe she likes me back.

We arrive at the bus stop and I want to drag her back to my house and make it summer. I want to have sleepovers with her and constantly hang out with her. I want to make blanket forts, watch movies, fall asleep together, listen to music, go shopping and kiss her. Maybe now is my chance to try out the last part.

She lets go of my hand and starts hugging everyone. Everyone is crying especially Richie and Eddie. She gets to me and I hug her for a while. The bus isn't here so I still have a chance.

I cup her cheeks in my hand and get on my tippy toes. I lean up towards her face and press my lips against hers. Sparks are flying everywhere and I feel like I'm on cloud 9. I pull away and lean against her. I whisper in her ear "I love you" and she whispers it back.

I finally pull away. Everyone looks shocked at me that I kissed her and I blush deeply. She waves and kisses my cheek quickly. She blows a kiss through the window as the bus drives off and I feel like crying. But I assure myself that she doesn't live far and I can visit her anytime I like.

But.. wait.. she whispered she loves me back to me and kissed me back.. then she kissed my cheek.. does this mean we are dating? Maybe we will discuss it next time we are here or maybe I can get her number off Eddie.

I get butterflies in my stomach when I think of Bev but I also get tears in my eyes. She just left around two minutes ago and it feels like 10 years ago. I long for her arms around me again and her lips on mine.

"Earth to El!" I snap back to reality and find the source of this voice. Mike is calling me and I shake my thoughts away.

"Thinking bout your girlfriend?" Richie asks.

Eddie is standing there with a look of satisfaction on his face and Will smiles.

"You told me you aren't dating!" Mike exclaims.

"We aren't! I think.." I reply.

"I decided that it's now or never to kiss her so I just decided to do it because so knew if I didn't do it then, I would probably never do it." Dustin smiles at me and gives me a thumbs up. He supports me. I smile back.

Lucas smiles and says, "let's just get to school guys." I nod and we all follow him in the direction of the school. Hawkins is a small town and the school isn't too far away.

I can't stop thinking about Bev. I've been thinking about her all day. I wonder if she's thinking about me? I smile at the thought of her. Then, I see Max sauntering into the canteen and I roll my eyes and sit up. Gross.

"Ew I didn't know trash could walk." Richie says and he gags.

We all burst out laughing at this but Will stays quiet. Then, Max climbs on to a table.

"Listen up everyone!" Everyone immediately goes quiet and turns their head in her direction. There are no teachers in here right now so it's a prefect opportunity for her to get up there and not get caught.

"I have a secret to tell you guys." She continues.

She points at Will. "It's about him."

Our eyes all go wide and Mike gets up and tries to pull Will up to get him out of here. Will pulls his hand away and stares at her.

"Well.. maybe it isn't a secret. Rumours have been flying around about him recently. Rumours that he's a.. fag. Well, I'm here to confirm that they are true and not long ago he was dating the one and only Mike Wheeler."

Everyone looks at him, disgusted. He backs away from our table and turns. He runs out the canteen doors and into the bathrooms. Mike gets up and chases after him.

Max looks proud of herself and gets down off the table. I walk up to her and slap her right across the face. Everyone including her is shocked. Richie and Eddie rush out the doors after Mike and Will. Dustin and Lucas sit at our table awkwardly. I walk back and sit down.

"I hope that Will is okay." Dustin says and he looks towards the doors. Lucas and I nod in agreement. I wish I could also go but I can't go into the boys bathrooms.

I run into the bathroom, tears streaming down my face. I knew Max was horrible but I didn't think she would do that to me. I lean against the wall and slide down it putting my head in my hands, crying.

Why can't I be normal? Why can't I have a girlfriend or fall in love with girls? Why can't I be happy with myself like Richie and Eddie? I feel disgusted with myself for being gay and a sudden feeling a hatred for myself shoots through me like a bullet.

Mike rushes in, Richie and Eddie close behind. Mike helps me up and just hugs me. Richie and Eddie join in with the hug and they all lean away.

"I'm so sorry will." Mike holds my arms and stares into my eyes. I wish he was still in love with me. I wish I could ki-

Suddenly, he leans down and kisses me. Richie and Eddie's eyes widen and so do mine.

"What?.." I ask.

"Will, I love you. I never stopped. I was too scared to date you, too scared of what other people would think so I tried to make myself like Max and that's why I cheated. Then, when I realised that I'm gay, { yes, he is gay in this story } I decided to make up lies and tell you I didn't love you anymore. I miss you Will."

"I..Mike.. I never stopped loving you. Haven't you noticed I've been pining over you ever since we broke up?" I laugh slightly.

"I want to be with you again. Fuck what others say. I don't care what they think of me. Whaddya say Will? Will you give me a second chance?" He stares at me and I kiss him as my answer. He smiles widely.

"Be proud of who are you, Will. If anyone says anything to you about give them the middle finger!" Richie says. I smile at him.

So, that's what I did. I didn't care about what anybody said. I ignored it.

Mike and I are living happily married. ( let's pretend gay marriage was legal because idk if it is yet ) We are all living in a house with Richie, Eddie, El, Bev, Dustin, Lucas, Mike Hanlon, Stan, Ben and Bill.

El and Bev are also happily married.

So are Richie and Eddie. Dustin and Lucas are dating but not yet engaged or married. Bill and Stan are happily dating. Mike H and Ben are both dating girls from across the town. Bev moved to Hawkins and went to college here with us once she was 18 after saving a lot of money.

Throughout those years, El & Bev stayed in contact by calling eachother after El got her phone number from Eddie and they travelled back and forth to Derry and Hawkins. Sometimes El traveled with the others and sometimes on her own. Sometimes Beverly travelled with Bill, Stan, Ben & Mike and sometimes on her own.

At 22, we all moved in to a big house together.

We also adopted a Pomeranian 2 years ago after Richie and Eddie begged for one. We are all best friends and we are all living happy lives in happy jobs.

Richie is a comedian, Dustin is a scientist, Bill is an author, Mike is also an author, I'm an illustrator, El is ALSO an author, Bev is a fashion designer, Eddie is a pharmacist, Lucas & Ben are architects and Mike Hanlon is a butcher (even though he didn't really like it on the farm lol ) and Stan is an accountant.

Oh yeah! Max is dead. Yay! :)
